OMG How Spectacular are these new Shifter Stencils....Tim is so right just to hear the explanation of what they are...made no sense....to see him in Shifter Stencil craftabulous action...was a WOW and the results makes for an Amazing look...and I was stunned at the Magnificent results as I didn't get this at from his explanation he always gives an Incredible Magnificent Tutorial and you did an Outstanding job capturing it all in your video...GREAT JOB!! YOU SO ROCK!!

Thanks for the videos from Creativation. They are always so professional and I love that we get close-ups of products and we can see clearly what the demonstrator is doing.
Gotta say I've watched several Creativation 2019 videos now. Have I seen anything that is going to make me a better artist? NO! I have seen more of what I already have, some that I don't use and are taking up space. Have I seen things that I think would be fun to try? Certainly, but still won't make me a better artist. Just more ways of doing the same thing. Practicing with what I already have is going to make me a better artist. Watching Tim and the others has gotten my creative juices flowing again. For that, the videos are worth the time to watch.
I don't think it's supposed to make you a better artist but I think people believe it will. This stuff just creates bad spending habits.

As well all these things can be so overwhelming. Lots can be too much even if it's a bargain or you can afford it. It's about preserving the memories and showing the love for my people. If I buy something for ten dollars I am going to use it on ten pages. By things that coordinate with what you have. I have a older die cutter with four alphabets that is a ton. I provision will make your pages unique.
Why are people wasting time watching Tim's TH-cam if they aren't being better artists (be honest, you can't be a better artist without talent), or learning anything new (just continue with what you know and like to do and are happy with). I love Tim's work and can and do try the new products. Am I a good artist...NO...but I have fun trying.

omg 1st the alcohol inks, now the stencils and pads with fancy brushes. I need to hit the Mega Millions because I want all of this stuff. QUESTION: Can we use the stencils on a water bottle that has been primed first with the oxidized stamps he was using and can we use them with the alcohol inks in the same fashion?
I really wish that one year they’d do a public day. I think I might actually pay to tell them Thankyou and shake his hand 😆
One year they did do a consumer part of the show. But they haven't done it since. Tim does teach public classes. Check out his site to see his schedule.

I use pearl alcohol inks but when I put it on yupo paper it stays like in blotches
I would contact Ranger or Tim directly. I haven't used it enough to help you. Tim also did 2 - 2 hour videos on Alcohol Inks last month that may help you.

could you combine two stencils - use one and change it out in shift - ie, x's and o's?
I don't have them so I'm not sure. But you could try it out.

After the shaker is assembled, just open the card to finish stamping on the front. Then the block won't be in the way.

May I ask what animal those “natural” bristles come from and how it is collected? And while I’m worrying about my animal friends, can Tim Holtz reassure me that his company and his suppliers don’t use animal testing? For some reason we aren’t checking these things as vigorously as we had been and I would like to know.

Beware!! Apparently the sound of high-pitched screeches from the plastic lids on that glass mat don't bother Tim. I couldn't watch/listen all the way through. Nails on a blackboard sounds.
