I must stop watching these videos because every time I do it results in a new purchase! 😄 loving being so creative though thanks for these videos I am learning so much
Christine - no one and I mean no one does better interviews and filming of Tim Holtz than you - you are able to film the "real tim holtz" Thank you for your ability to do this.
Dear Mr Tim Holtz I have a bucket list to meet a few people before I pass and you are on that list. but I dont go out of my house but I learn so much from you and your demos I love those oxides and I have reserved the pearls Thank you thank you thank you so much. Oh by the way. Willie Nelson is on that list too LOL. Thanks for bringing this to us. Have a Great day. Happy Staining. Your Greatest Fan. Retired RN Pamela Benne
I like your bucket list! I'd like to meet Willie, too, but I did meet Tim. My daughters and I took a class from him, and he and Mario are exactly as you see them online. They're personable, funny, and very passionate about what they do. I hope one day you'll be able to meet them, too!
I worked for the Chairman of a Chemistry Department at a university for about 3 years and let me tell you ... chemists are amazing!!! As for how things react to one another, I play in my studio with a "What if" attitude. LOL What if I do this ... what if I add that. I enjoy my what if game. Ha!
You really encouraged me about the spray! I’m glad I bought; I’m doing bible journaling to God.. maybe I’ll document it on my channel.. we shall see! Thanks again! Great video!!
Thank you! IMPORTANT QUESTION: WHY AREN’T PEOPLE USING THESE OXIDE SPRAYS TODAY? The one product that I thought I should buy the whole line and no videos using them. Certainly changed my purchasing impulses forever.😢
I love the look of the sprays - both of them - now after you get this great look (i.e., for a card) we cover it up with a stamp or a die cut. I would like to see Tim show us how to let the creation remain and still be able to add a greeting .
I would love to have at least 5% of your creativity Tim and be able to make some beautiful backgrounds like you make during your demos! Oh Tim, I have a dream to attend one of your personal classes and though I live in your neighboring state, New Mexico, I know I'll never be able to do so. I just have to be happy watching your demos online and just dream, dream, dream...
He is super nice in person!!! At a stamp show, he ran out of the stamp set I wanted, so he sold me his personal set at a discount so I wouldn't go away disappointed.
We have been attending this show for 11 years and are familiar with all of the designers. We know when Tim will be demoing and we arrive early to get our spot front and centre so we can bring you the best videos.
I'd love to know how Oxide spray goes on top of dried acrylic. I'm a model maker, and this looks like it has amazing potential for ageing/weathering/fading effects
OMG i need them all lol i’m a huge fan luv all your products i have all the distress inks and all the oxides now i must have these do i need them probably not but i will have them 👍🏽😍😬
Tim just said don't just use new ie the newest colors of distress oxide use the old as well. However, most sellers of the older products don't carry certain colors any more. We are now forced to use only the new colors. Personally, I want to use the colors I love.
When I saw that these were being released, I was not interested. I have the ink pads, and love them, but did not think these would have any use for me. I love how they react with the dye ink spray. I will definitely be getting a few of these. Wish he hadn't gone on and on about the students who had misinterpreted his instructions. He should have said remove the cap, not the top. I might have done the same thing. The interaction with Amy Tangerine's mom was adorable.
If I try and use a blending tool with the Oxide Sprays, it mills the paper. Doesn't happen with the pads. Any thoughts? Or are sprays just not formulated to be able to be used with blenders?
As much as I love Tim, wasn't too impressed with him repeating his point about how to take off the top. These are your customers and fans who may watch this. I'm sure they'd have been embarrassed enough at time. First times he's come across as arrogant with some of the remarks he made. Great product though that I. Sure will be a winner
I don’t think he meant it that way- he said “my bad” about not being specific enough about which top to remove. I could have possibly been a person who would have done this! Only because when using sprays with glitter or metallic pigments, they warn you to shake side to side so the glitter doesn’t clog up the straw part of the bottle. So if you want to cheat and shake it faster, it would seem you want to remove the top (and straw part) to prevent that. It was an easy mistake to make! And a lesson to Tim as well.
I’ve been using my oxide sprays on top of bubbles, that I blow with a straw onto the paper of my art journal- the results are stunning. Thank you !!!!
I must stop watching these videos because every time I do it results in a new purchase! 😄 loving being so creative though
thanks for these videos I am learning so much
Thank you Ranger, for killing my dreams of retirement, $5 at a time....😂😂😂
I could not stop laughing at the vision of people removing the tops to shake, ahhhhhmazing!!! Love, love, love, Tim’s demos
Tim is just the best teacher. I love how he said not to forget about your good old things!!
Christine - no one and I mean no one does better interviews and filming of Tim Holtz than you - you are able to film the "real tim holtz" Thank you for your ability to do this.

Pamela Benne you have a great bucket list....love Tim and willie❤️
@Pamela Benne Tim is on my bucket list too :) He’s amazing!

I 💜 ART in so many mediums; video made me get my juices flowing....
I worked for the Chairman of a Chemistry Department at a university for about 3 years and let me tell you ... chemists are amazing!!! As for how things react to one another, I play in my studio with a "What if" attitude. LOL What if I do this ... what if I add that. I enjoy my what if game. Ha!
I can watch him demo and create all day long into next week without getting bored! Love him and his products
And foxy as well
I did learn (the hard way) don't dab it too soon or you'll honestly just wipe it off. Love this stuff!
Met Tim years ago at a class in Mesa, AZ. I love his humor.
You really encouraged me about the spray! I’m glad I bought; I’m doing bible journaling to God.. maybe I’ll document it on my channel.. we shall see!
Thanks again! Great video!!
Between him and noit art...im in heaven..and aper outpost..ahe and her dog are a hoot
Thank you! IMPORTANT QUESTION: WHY AREN’T PEOPLE USING THESE OXIDE SPRAYS TODAY? The one product that I thought I should buy the whole line and no videos using them. Certainly changed my purchasing impulses forever.😢
I find personally I prefer the original sprays. I like the clear colour vs the oxide effect. I did make a few videos using them on the channel.
Thank you! I agree!
I love the look of the sprays - both of them - now after you get this great look (i.e., for a card) we cover it up with a stamp or a die cut. I would like to see Tim show us how to let the creation remain and still be able to add a greeting .
Thanks for showing the sprays. I had a good laugh over the bottle caps. I look forward to the rest of your demo's .
I would love to have at least 5% of your creativity Tim and be able to make some beautiful backgrounds like you make during your demos! Woah that second tag...! I really love those new sprays, can't wait to test them! But I'll always enjoy playing with the stamps and the oxide pads ♡
I hope to one day meet him and take a class from him! His 2019 release from S.A. was INSANELY BEAUTIFUL and sooooo PERFECTLY AWESOME!
Simply the Best!!!! Tim Holtz products Forever!!!👏👏👏👏💕💕💕💕 From Italy
Love this video! I would absolutely love to meet Tim Holtz someday! ❤💕❤💕
He is super nice in person!!! At a stamp show, he ran out of the stamp set I wanted, so he sold me his personal set at a discount so I wouldn't go away disappointed.
Thank you for the videos! Those of us that can’t attend are so grateful
So excited to get my hands on these! Love your demos. Thanks for pushing us to think beyond the product.
First, I love your videos and products. But I gotta ask, was that chef Michael Simon with the cute, giggly woman that you hugged?
Fun as always to watch you demo! So far the oxides are my fav but I think I'll really have to try the sprays!❤️
Thanks for teaching me to mix distress products, which I didn’t do...
How do you get these great videos so up close and personal? Do you have special dispensation at events like this one? So terrific!
We have been attending this show for 11 years and are familiar with all of the designers. We know when Tim will be demoing and we arrive early to get our spot front and centre so we can bring you the best videos.
Very cool!
Im addicted to your products. Always skint now haha
Oh, how I wish that I could attend one of these shows … but it would have to be with a huge suitcase and an overdraft !! 😮😂
I hope you come up with oxide color burst powders some day soon. 😊
Thanks Scraptime! You guys have the best videos!
I'd love to know how Oxide spray goes on top of dried acrylic. I'm a model maker, and this looks like it has amazing potential for ageing/weathering/fading effects
Appreciate you and all these great ideas! Thanks Tim,you are awesome!!
Just noticed Mario's initial cameo at 9:09. 😁
Why are your products becoming discontinued
Wow, wow, wow. I want it all. LG Greetings from Berlin Germany
OMG i need them all lol i’m a huge fan luv all your products i have all the distress inks and all the oxides now i must have these do i need them probably not but i will have them 👍🏽😍😬
Be cautious
thank you very much for your demonstration
So many great new products thank you
Great ! Will the Oxides be available in the mini ink pads? Hoping!!
He is still saying no to the mini ink pads.
Tim just said don't just use new ie the newest colors of distress oxide use the old as well. However, most sellers of the older products don't carry certain colors any more. We are now forced to use only the new colors. Personally, I want to use the colors I love.
Off topic question..Are you using a gimble to record this? If so, which one? It’s so perfect. Love your videos.
No - just our iPhone with a selphie stick.
Awesome video
Thank you for the excellent video !!

Can I use this on metal jewelry?
No - it is only for porous materials.
If I try and use a blending tool with the Oxide Sprays, it mills the paper. Doesn't happen with the pads. Any thoughts? Or are sprays just not formulated to be able to be used with blenders?
The sprays are wet and aren’t designed to be blended that way. But once they dry you can use the blender with inks on top of them.
Where could I buy stamp platform
Try Scrapbook.com - it's no longer being distributed in North America, but some sellers still have them.
Very very cool as ALWAYS!!
I really like the oxides, but still don't have any. I am hoping they will come out in minis
Tim said they won't because the formula doesn't do well in those tiny pads. But you never know what the future may bring.
@@iamdawt Thank You so much for answering this. I can hope.
What website can I purchase these products from please?
There are links above in the description that take you to Simon Says Stamp to purchase the products.
Thank you Scraptimevideos, btw, I love your vids!
What if it gets on your skin ? Know matter what use ... its not easy to remove. A bit dissapointed with it
Great video!
Do you have any new collage paper?
He has 3 new Collage Tissues.
Love it 😍😍!!!
very great ideas
why so difficult...?
Freaking awesome!
Love!
I would have taken the top off LOL! 😁🤣
Remove the "cap"
🫶🏻🫶🏻❤️❤️🌻🌻nothing else needs to be said here
No way...they did not take off the Lid! 🤪🤪🤪
It's because it's called a cap, not top...remove the cap.
Wow
or say, "remove the cap" b/c the cap is on top of the top! lol
👍🏻
haha why wouldn't you just say remove the 'cap' or 'lid' lol
First half of the video is him making fun of people using his product.
Love Love Love. Tim Holtz you are just sooooooo.......yummy. lol

I don't think he was being arrogant. It was just a funny incident that he wanted to share. We all have them 😉
I don’t think he meant it that way- he said “my bad” about not being specific enough about which top to remove. I could have possibly been a person who would have done this! What are you, a baby, stop whinging!
I saw no arrogance...just sharing the info and realizing what he needs to say next time.
Not impressed,😒 colors so dull.
They're magical! They're not meant to be vibrant, the oxidization is meant for that old antiqued look.
U should see it on black cardstock. It looks like a galaxy. So i am impressed
