Excellent video. Only 1 in 10,000 people will attempt this, and even less can do this successfully! Like so many things, I'm pretty sure I could get it apart, but getting it back together would be another story. That being said, I always learn something, even from my failures. Thanks.....
Hi Garry, tbh I wish I didn’t have to use a mower or strimmer again I really dislike the job nowadays, but needs must so I’ll have to do it for at least another year. I’m being very selective what I take on this year I want the east jobs 😂 Thanks for watching 🙂👍
@@axal321 Hi Garry unfortunately I can’t give it up it’s my only regular source of income, but after 20 odd years doing it it’s wearing the body I recently had a kidney stone which I blame on her to dehydrated in the summer especially last year with it being so hot, I sweated so much It was hard to keep hydrated. So this year I’m going everything at a slower pace I have over the years rushed to much.I’m not a big enough youtuber yet to give up the day job 😂 Honda HRD536 roller is a great mower I may have one for sale in a week or so 2017 model.
Looks and sounds good. That's the kind of job you do on your own equipment but not for anybody else. If you charged by the hour, it would cost the price of a new unit 🙂
Huge Job but very satisfying to wast he assuming you used about £100 in parts not bad. I have a new KM56 new with the standard attachment have kept it aside for now using FS85.
Hi sorry I don’t really know I bought this second hand years ago and over the time I had replaced piston rings and did a carb rebuild as it was getting harder to start, it was ok for a while then after a couple of years same happened again do that when I did the work in this video. It seems using it commercially for 2-3 years it does require a carb rebuild and possible new piston rings, but I love the machine as it’s nice and light and does produce a decent amount of power. Thanks for watching 🙂👍
@@Menditman2014 just got a km94rce going to run it at 40/1 to see how it goes bought a km131 4 mix powerful machine but don’t like the revving power delivery characteristic so hopefully can replace it with the km94 if it has the power.
Nice work on this rebuild Luke 🙂👍
Thanks 👍

yes, unfortunately even minor fixes are so expensive for parts and labor that buying a new unit is cheaper
@darillus1 I get quite a few machines from shops with big markups

Hi Luke any idea of hours that would be on the engine and at what hours a rebuild is recommended. 😊
