Hi Martin thank you what a lovely comment, I was pleased with this one and i think it will be one of those videos that will keep giving (when this channel is monetised) as you know these ones are much more difficult to do as I find it’s so easy to go out of shot. Powder coating kit and oven have now arrived so I’m looking forward to sorting that all out, they did have a problem with both codes but I was just refunded the difference so all is good. Thanks for watching 🙂👍
Hi it was the worst I’ve seen behind the gauze, but as you saw I gave it a good going over and with the new kit it should last a good while. Thanks for watching 🙂👍
Hi Luke. I've done a few of those myself. I'm pretty sure the first bit wasn't grass but part of the barrel spring at the top. I've honestly never seen a filter plugged up like that before, must have been run without a filter. I'm now using a jar of petrol in my ultrasonic cleaner and that's giving me really good results. 👍
Hi neither have I come to think about it I did run it for a few weeks with just the weight in it, no filter part, the original filter was different. Your right it wasn’t grass and it looked like a spring, but i think it was a bit of sealer. Good idea with the petrol I may try that, part 3 of this Strimmer Refurb will be up soon, I just wanted to do the carb video separate as I think people will look for that more. Thanks for watching and tip with the petrol 🙂👍
Hi Nev I’ve never seen one like it, I did for a few weeks take the fuel filter piece off from in the tank, but even so I can’t believe it would have pulled up that amount and it was messing around before that. I have worked this machine extremely hard and never done much to it. Final part of the Refurb of this machine will be up soon. Thanks for watching 🙂👍
That piece of grass could have been part of the thin o ring under the throttle body, if you google parts breakdown you can see it but it has to be ordered separately as an individual part.
Hi this is an older video, I did realise it was a O ring and not grass, it doesn’t matter as it’s still running perfectly to this day, thanks for watching 🙂👍
I’m pretty sure they’re supposed to be an O-ring on that black cylinder. When you took it apart, you noted that you found a piece of one and you showed it to the camera, but then it didn’t show you replacing it.
😂😂 it looked like it 😂 it had been messing around a bit for a Month or so, I think I can safely say I know why now 😂 nice to find an obvious problem. Thanks for watching 🙂👍
Hi I bought the kit from my local dealers, just type the part number in what you see at the beginning of the video then the kit should pop up on line. Hope this helps thanks for watching 🙂👍

Where did you get the kit from please
My guy, you know people wanted to see how it ran after ALL of that effort, don’t you??
I wanted to see where to put that hose that comes off of it because my gas tank fell down and no idea where it goes lol
The top of that throttle body is still full of dirt, need more cleaning.
That wasn’t really necessary, I was in a rush I needed it for work the next day, lucky you got to see a video at all of it 😂
I thought you gonna Show Hiw to get it off first 🤔
Legend not Idge lol
