Ok. So I've seen a few people saying this and now I can't unhear it. The voice at about 0:45 in the trailer when Mio and Noah are exchanging flutes, the voice that says "You can try, try to move forwards again." Some people are saying that sounds like Rex. I don't know if that's true or not but I can't unhear it.
The High Entia is most definitely Melia. I get what you’re saying about the deeper voice, but it sounds exactly like her performance in Future Connected which was also a deeper than the base game. Jenna Coleman was also interviewed back in June 2021 saying “I think they’re going to do another. Is that common knowledge? I don’t know…but yeah, I think they’re going to do another. I don’t know if I’m allowed to say that,” which was well, well after FC wrapped up. I’m guessing she was contacted about returning to the role before localization began. The hair, the voice, the interview, the wing size, her story significance as the empress after Future Connected, generally being a main character in the first game and being shown alongside a returning XC2 character in a clear parallel…and even the clothes look decently similar to her FC Anemone Style, just with a dark color palette, all lead me to believe that this is 100% with no doubts Melia.
Oh I have no doubt Melia is in this game. I did have my 'Tyrea standing in for her' theory but like I said the wings don’t match up. Even if that high entia ruler somehow turned out to be someone else, I'm sure Melia herself is still in the game in some way.
I finished Xenoblade Chronicles and damn! What a game what a game, I'm playing Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and that is also a great game. I'm hyped for 3. I hope for a X port.
Btw, Mio is assuredly a Flesh Eater and we do have to note that the Blade lifecycle is more or less upended at the end of XBC2 with the end of the Titans. Without the Titans, a different cycle of "Reproduction" for Blades would be needed without Titans spewing out Core Crystals. And Flesh Eaters are likely capable of reproduction with Humans as, well, they are by nature half human more or less, so Mio could biologically be the child of another flesh eater and related to Nia that way (Or just be Nia's daughter outright, she does have the exact same core crystal more or less) So even if you say normal Blades can't reproduce normally, Flesh Eaters should very much be able to by the end of XBC2, and because Blades can be Manufactured as shown with Poppi, maybe most natural Blades in XBC3 are Flesh Eaters and Manufactured Blades have gotten advanced enough to even have blue core crystals, and also not to mention that Poppi can very much seem to work alone from Tora at a level better than most other Blades when not linked to a driver.
Yeah, I guess it hasn't been established yet whether or not flesh eaters can reproduce, it could very well be possible. And if you mean artificial blades then yeah, there definitely would have made some progress on them in all the years that have passed. Maybe they're even harder to tell them apart from real blades. I hadn't really thought of any of this before but it's pretty interesting
My call is that the collapse of the lower and higher domains changed everyone's biology, that's why High Entia and Machina are now aging at the same rate as Homs.
I think Lanz is a Machina because there are grey metal plating and yellow metal dots and lines on his body and he is from Keves which is on the side of Xenoblade Chronicles 1. Lanz may even be a Machina and Homs hybrid 😅.
I think that "vandam" figure is zeke and not Vandam. If you look closely, that voice isn't coming from the person, it's just being played over it. So it could be a fake out or something else
The thought of it being a fake out did cross my mind a few times, but as the voice sounds very much like Vandhams, I really can't imagine it belonging to anyone aside from the character that looks like Vandham
@@MaxMonado My theory is that the voice *is* Vandam, I believe I hear rex as a VO in the trailer as well, so maybe they're just using voice lines, or maybe the characters themselves have a Obi wan Force Ghost moment. Also had an insane theory that somehow character fusion is involved, like if you look at it, the character looks exactly like a fusion between Vandam and Zeke, and there are other characters who have similar vibes
THANK YOU! Someone who agree's with me that that doesn't sound like Melia at all! Depending how long "Far Flung Future" is, I think this could possibly Tyrea's Child as they do sound similar. This would mean that between 200 - 500 years must have passed for that to have happened tho. I think your a lil off with whose kid is whose. Taion for example is on XC2 team and I find it unlikely that someone born from XC1 team would fight against them and then be good again. Great vid tho
I SWEAR the empress has the voice of Tyrea hahaha And yeah I can see my predictions being a bit off, I know Taion is sided with Agnus but I still see a chance that he was related to Sharla, a lot could have changed in the 100 or so years that have passed after all
Have you not entertained the possibility that the voice we are hearing isn’t the voice of the person we are seeing? Supposed Melia doesn’t move at or does anything visually to indicate speech. That could be Tyrea advising Melia.
@@JBspherefreak Yeah, and also, Nia's extermination line could be referring to the third party running things for everyone, not Agnus, just placed that way to get the idea. The War probably will take a good chunk of the game, like fifty to 75 percent like Uraya v Mord Ardian or Machina v Homs, but I doubt each of them have genocide on the brain, more conquest , deposition, annexation and resource acquisition.
Either Noah or Lanz (Who seems to be part Homs) could be descended from Dunban, Noah if he married a Homs and Lanz if he married a Machina (Most likely Vanea), that would make either of them Fiora's nephew. Mio is clearly related to Nia somehow, same rare species (Long-eared Gormotti), same eater core crystal and same overall appearance. Sena could be descended from Brihgid and/or Agaeion. I doubt either Eunie or Taion are directly related to the casts of 1 and 2 but they tie in to important locations, Eunie looks like a High Entia/Homs hybrid hailing from Gran Dell, Taion meanwhile is clearly Leftherian, maybe related to Corrine. The blond outseer man is clearly descended from Shulk and Fiora. IMO the person who looks like 2's Vandham is NOT 2's Vandham since he's not Urayan but rather either Homs or Ardanian.
I think the characters most likely to reappear are Tyrea and Teelan from 1 and Dromarch from 2 given their intimate relationships with Melia and Nia respectively, I also expect to see returning Machina and Indolines since their lifespans are so long. Also Gael'Gar, he was not shown dying so he obviously did not die.
I realised today that Rex literally means king, so, I wonder if he is with who is hopefully nia, also * spoiler * pneuma can alter reality, so she can delay the ageing of Rex, if not, then nia also has healing abilities
Now that I think about it, none of the female playable characters are humans/homs. The three of them are blade (flesh eater), half High Entia and blade (hammer).
Have a theory about the new Vandham but I don't think he's a returning character. I've not seen anyone mention the Garfont mercenaries from Xenoblade 2 especially seeing as we're returning to Uraya where they were based. It'd make sense if they were the new leader and possibly adopted into the village (possibly by Rex), explaining the accent despite not being Urayan and them styling themselves after Vandham. Even if they aren't directly related it'd be a nice way to have someone bearing the torch of both characters and continuing on their legacies. As for the scar it just might be Monolith's thing for having incredibly similar characters that fill the same role across games (Vanderkam from gears and saga as an example)
Now that's a really interesting theory, it would also make sense if Garfont played a part in the story seeing as Uraya is featured on the title screen.
I´d say that lanz is machina, because he is from the side of xc1 nation, but overall interesting analysis, expecting more, keep the good content :)
Thank you! I hadn't even considered that he could be a Machina, it does sound plausible
Man, i'm really the only one who thought "ADDAM!" when i saw him? Lmfao
@@Gameboy2007-Official
I thought Zeke lmao but he’s just a different skinned guy from XC1 now that the game is out
Great video! I actually thought the exact same thing about the area looking like Xenoblade X as well.
Also I just realized both our analysis videos are the same lenght lmaooo
Oh my god I didn't even notice the video lengths hahaha
It would be great if this was connected to X though, I'm dying to know more about Mira!

It does right? It's definitely the same accent and for now I believe it's Rex's voice actor
It's kinda hard to tell because he also sounds a bit like Noah.
@@ag9953 There are official subtitles now that confirm it's Noah. I just can't unhear Rex from it.
