Definitely some very strange choices here that I have to completely disagree with (such as Alfeto Valley/Melnath's Shoulder and Ribbi Flats/Rae-Bel Tableland being as low as they are, or Millick Meadows and Syra Hovering Reefs being as high as they are), but I gotta say that I REALLY appreciate how much you focus on the music of the areas. The Xenoblade 3 Area Themes are so grossly underrated purely because they aren't quite as bombastic as we got in XC1 and XC2, and it's led to what feels like a LOT of people being completely oblivious to some brilliant parts that happen later in some songs, or even some entire songs being ignored (although some of them are because of the game's design... *cough* *cough* Fort O'Virbus Night Theme). Also, glad to see a fellow Ottil enjoyer. :D

i can't agree on xc2 pick. tora is way worst. if you consider endgame you me be right (if you will to lose your sanity over tiger tiger) but for the majority of the story tora is basically useless. at least you can easily put needed elements for blade combo on nia. until you get the fourth member of the party other than catastrophe you cant prock any other blade combo stage 3. is not even debatable that tora until you unlock the last poppy doesn't have a real utility considering again that if you are willing to level up nia you can level her, her skill, her gears ecc. if you want to level oppy you have to do the worst section in videogame history by the name tiger!tiger!

Mio is busted for tanking if you can actually build a zephyr class right which almost everyone fails to do LMAO

Sena's animations in ogre are also a lot faster than the other party members. Mio's air fang in Zephyr also hits three tikes, charging the talent art three times, as opposed to two hits on the other party members

there's something so heartwarming about seeing all of them together in the same shot, since as far as we've ever seen, none of them could ever have existed in the same universe for long together. not in a world that wasn't on the edge of despair, destiny creeping towards them and ready to pull them all apart the moment they all met. just the idea of shulk, rex, elma and noah all sharing a quiet, somber moment atop that hill, where the world wasn't ending, and the hands of fate didn't put them through hell yet.

Personally, I headcanon that Eunie is TYREA’s daughter - given her focus on Melia’s wing size, it would make sense for her to be getting subconscious signals about Wing Size Being Important. Furthermore, Eunie using “Queen’s Extremities” as explicatives implies there’s SOME kind of connection between them in the Previous World.

i played trough XC3 Three times and still dont know how to use lucky 7 :D he only uses it once in a cut scene

7:20 couldn’t have jin seen or interacted with brighid during the 500 years mythra was asleep but we were just never shown? though, he might’ve just been a depressed hermit during that time so your point probably stands. i think this whole situation could’ve been fixed if we got a dedicated scene between brighid and mythra going over her journal together. but mythra obviously only being able to know the parts during torna so brighid seeks out jin for more info.

For XC1 i absolutely agree Shulk is a great choice, I was gonna say Dunban cause Dunban plays the game as well as he does and packs arguably the best art set out of the bunch, and his agility is so high that he can hit stuff even through red tag

I'm happy they also included Baten Kaitos here as well. These guys sure know how much we love and appreciate their work.

i found Mio to be an insanely powerful evade tank to the point that she's literally unkillable - so maybe in breaking the game damage wise she's not the best, but she has insane sustain.

Everyone forgets Dolmes, the rare blade Dughall uses in the fight against him on the Ardanian ship, Dolmes is the only unique blade that you can never obtain not even with the DLC like the Torna members and their blades. At least Nimue has a reason to not be a Hero given that her reborn self is very young and she uses the same weapon as Taion, the mondo, but I think Mwamba should've been a Hero similar to Camuravi

at some point I wouldn't compare them tbh bc like they are all really good in their signature roles. its like comparing Sharla's dmg with Shulk's. since they both do different stuff. In Xenoblade chronicles there are no bad characters in my opinion

I started replaying xenoblade 2 a few days ago and randomly gos KOS-MOS in chapter 3 or 4. The funny thing is that i was hunting for T-elos (yes, i forgot that you can get her only after finishing the base game or in NG+).

FUCK THIS FIGHT FUCK THIS FIGHT FUCK THIS FIGHT FUCK THIS FIGHT!!!!! Seriously, not even the strategy you showed worked for me (first, Melia is level 72, so close enough). There's so much shit going on at once I can't focus on anything. And also Melia always seems to draw aggro for some reason. To add insult to injury, ZR+Down feels like it doesn't work properly!

To be honest, I feel like Xenoblade as a series in general has an extremely odd schism between the supreme quality of the actual soundtracks and the amateur quality of the sound DESIGN/IMPEMENTATION (all-capped this to highlight that the actual OSTs are still super high quality). The sound design (the rarity of use for certain tracks, the default sound settings not having proper volume for tracks half the time, the way some background music doesn't pick up from where it "ended" when you go to menu or leave the area, etc) does not usually do the OSTs justice.

They didn't show Dragonball Z: Attack of the Saiyans. 😞 That was a great rpg. At least they showed Project X Zone, one of the best crossover games ever made.

One of the most underrated heroes is definitely Miyabi I absolutely loved her she was a downplay of Fiona I think her name was but she gave some pretty good buffs and she had the burst ability too she was very useful in battle speaking of it I need to beat that bird that’s on level 100 I think he’s a superboss

The way i fit vandham into my party was by having both him and rex share the aggro. I dont know how effective or efficient that is but i didnt die a lot and even beat a unique monster with him on the squad. Made his death wicked sad. 😢

Future Redeemed is one of the best expansions I’ve ever played. The twist regarding the other four founders of the City and who they really are was so good. While at the same time made the ending so bitter sweet. It makes 3 so much better than it already was. I feel like Future Redeemed did a much better job enhancing the base game’s story than the Torna Expansion for Xenoblade 2. Yeah seeing the Aegis War, and meeting Addam, and learning who Lora was, was great and all but Future Redeemed just did it a little better.

Fun fact: Nimue(and Joran) were actually planned to be heroes. She even has an unused icon of her weapon class, showing rhat she was indeed planned to be a hero.

I never built up QT Pi, I did solo several super bosses with default poppy with the blocking build.

If you think about it. Rex’s damage is kinda why the tanks in FR tend can’t hold aggro.
