It was about a blonde girl who lives in an apartment. An evil looking dude wearing a stocking mask breaks in through her window usually and physically assaults her. It becomes apparent that she is imagining this and actually self harming to create the injuries. She later invites a guy back to her apartment and murders him. So she turns out to be a full on psycho. For the life of me I can't remember what it was called. I've tried for years to track it down. Maybe you remember it ? Same era as this one and a bit of a hidden gem too. TIA 🙏
I had never heard of this film. Arrow recently released it on 4K, and I gave it a chance. I thought it was great. More people need to see this for sure.
The thing that always stuck with me about this, even from the first clips I saw when the film was being promoted, were the opposing contrazooms in the studio chase, where the corridor seems to stretch out ahead of Billy but the distance between her and her pursuer seems to shrink. That shot alone is what got me to rent it in the 90s and I never forgot it. A few years ago, I tried to buy a copy and couldn’t, except maybe on the second-hand market. This has got Arrow written all over it.
Its a classic. The villian doesnt have electric windows in his car so he doesnt seem so menancing winding his window up. The neighbour pervert scene the best u hate him then u need him great writing. Great poster
This is one of the best movies I’ve ever seen. It’s an all time favorite and the best date movie hands down. I saw this randomly waking at 3am unable to sleep. I was channel surfing and just stumbled upon it. I’m still fascinated by its charm. If you can find it, do so. you won’t regret it. It does very much deserve more credit than it did. There’s a Morrissey song about it too that great as well but not as much as the movie itself.
I remember my dad renting this for my bothers and me one weekend when we were kids. I think we were around 12-14 at the time. This thing shook me for years. 😳♥️🔪🍿
I’ve noticed that in the intro to your videos you show clips of the movie The Night Flyer. I think that movie deserves a best horror flick you never saw or at least the black sheep to Stephen King adaptations.
Our neighbors had an extensive vhs collection back in the 90s. We asked to borrow a movie one night and they gave us this. The second the sex/snuff scene came on my brothers made me leave the room. I was like 9 or 10 years old.
Before I watch this video... I love mute witness, I feel the first half was very suspenseful, and nerve wracking.... the second half kinda fell apart into a comedy. That was disappointing but a great movie overall
