I sit here this morning at almost 81 years old with Jed now in heaven with Jesus, and trying not to let my heart get hardened, then I thought of the song and glory be I found it. This was my wedding song! My wife's sister sang it for us. I never stopped hearing these words. It's been 33 years and we have been through a lot but we went through it together. @Skylez1 It's a struggle. My mom passed away on the 30th of this month last year and I was just a new christian of about 4 months. I was an alcoholic and when she passed it escalated and wanted to commit suicide. I wasn't sober for months!!!! I can't count 1 day!!! In May of this year I thought I died, ended up with a week long hangover. I told myself there's got to be a better way and I haven't had a drink since then. Scripture reading and prayer everyday has really helped me.

Lord I have compassion for the lost, i look around and see a world full of sin.. My time has come to leave the Internet and Take up my tent and Go! One person at a time, is were it at, the store, bus stop, ect. Few days ago i seen the same homeless woman i have not seen in a long time! I stop and give her a hug, she cry so deeply that my arm was wet from her tears, what i told her was, what she needed to hear and ask her she need anything? I take a hamburger? I come back for food, she was no longer there, that is ok, The lord took care of her. You see, the closer we walk and talk to the lord, we know just what to do.. Sometimes people just need to be touched.. The lord looks on the heart not on the outside. When Jesus comes back, i can rest :0) Un till he does, time to plow the fields!

I look at them and wonder how they can just devote themselves to something they understand even less then I do. Then I realize that they got the right idea, they are already set up with the best father imaginable. He has a massive house with infinite food on the table. A big field for games, and enough love for each and every one of us. God is awesome, don't ever forget it
