80’s music to me is the best. We had everything going on then. Pop, new wave, rap, heavy metal, Motown, etc. You could turn on the radio and every song was a great!
@GaryGoat350 I don’t blame you for loving the music. We had dance clubs everywhere and they were loaded with people dancing. I was a Harley Girl for Pirate Radio in the Early 90’s. That was my favorite station in the late 80’s early 90’s. Even Kiss was great with Rick Dees. Music was taking a change going into the 80’s. I was a kid in the 80. 1980 I was 9 years old. From 1980 to about 1993 music had hit a creative peak. You notice when you go in stores or watch movies it’s always 80’s music. Even movies back then we’re really good. Comedy was amazing. 80’s made comedians high up on the scale like musicians. Robin Williams, Billy Crystal, Andrew Dice Clay, and Sam Kinison had completely changed how we looked at comedians. I saw Eddie Murphy perform, Richard Pryor, Andrew Dice Clay, Sam Kinison. I knew Sam Kinison. Saw Robin Williams. They sold out to crowds as big as music concerts if not bigger. Andrew Dice Clay was at his peak during that time. Video games began in the 80’s. We made them popular. Kids were outside playing all the time. You got up on Saturday, watched the Saturday morning cartoons, ran to your friends houses that were in walking distance and knocked on the door. From that point on you didn’t walk into the house till the streetlights came on. In the summer you could be be outside till midnight playing and riding bikes or just chatting. You had slumber parties etc. It’s was a totally different world. I generation is a lot of ways are responsible for the end of all that too. Come the early 90’s internet began. The information highway. A double edge sword. You could get info to travel fast. So people started to hear about crime. Crime today is way worse but it was bad enough that parents would hear one story and boom, done. You were afraid of your kids getting kidnapped right off the front doorstep. People began locking their front door. We used to leave it wide open in the summer to let the cool air in. Not anymore. I wish you could have seen the 80’s. Had you been a kid and teen in the 80’s you would have seen the best generation ever. You need every actor and celebrity in the movies you went to see and they were all good. Today it is not the same. I’m thrilled I still see Robert Downey Jr. in the movies. Hence why I’m a huge Iron Man fan. You can’t go wrong with the 80’s music. You pic the right music to love:) I would love to see music take s turn again. Music has a way of repeating itself. Lady Gaga is a good example of that. I’m sick of Rap being the only popular music on the radio. I just listen to Spotify. It’s me in the picture. No filter:) lol I embrace my age lol eventually I won’t though. I see 60 and I’m letting the doctor stand on the back of my head and grab each side of my face and pull lmao. Not going down without s fight lol. What is your favorite 80’s band? In the Early 80’s I was a huge Michael Jackson, Prince, Genesis, and Duran Duran fan. I listen to everything but they were too. When Heavy metal hit I have to say that Quite Riot, Metallica, Styx, Queen, Rush, Twisted sister, Aerosmith, and Journey, and Ozzy were big in my list. I also liked in the 80’s, Till Tuesday, Taco, Tears for Fears, Depeche Mode, The Cure, love and Rockets, Bauhaus, etc we’re s hit with me too. Loved punk. Lmao it’s hard for me to pick a favorite. They all were so good. I have gone to do many concerts. Phil Collins I saw in the 90’s. I’m sad to see him retiring. I hope things change soon for your generation. I know things are not so good right now. It will get better:)
Agreed. 80s was the decade that went nuclear with art, creation and culture. Rock, metal, country, rap, pop etc all were exploding into new and higher levels.
@Michael Coleman my kids would tell her that they want to be there too. Life was so simple. It was safe. You rode in the bed of truck, you hung out outside all day with your friends, had sleep overs and listen to music. You knew every band and every song, you went dancing, movies with your friends. It was a whole other world. I remember paying 49 cents to see jaws 3 in true 3 D. Now they charge you extra money for high definition. In those days 3D made the object go right up into your face. It was amazing. I would go back to the 80’a and take my kids. The world is so upside down. I feel sorry for kids. They have no idea.
Jose Revero you ought to get a load of his stuff before he became the clean cut version of himself we see today. Check out his comedy show called Delirious and/or Raw. He was in his PRIME!

He did it to prove to Rick James that he can sing
I thought it was because he lost a bet to Richard pryor
@@JuicedCazyD No, he actually won. That song was made to resolve that bet.
@@Hvamp Your comment is amazing lmao
Wow that sounds amazing! Thank God for the 80s for that new wave and synth!

Among my millions of reasons to use a time machine to go back to the 80’s is music like this. There is good and bad in all things but the 80’s had a magic that is absolutely gone in our time.
