Sam Coll You don’t understand, Dc *Intentionally* makes them overpower every member of the main justice league has an op ability and they have only gotten stronger over the years. While Marvel characters have been well rounded over the years. We compared them because Fans still have faith they can beat and should be Dc characters in certain scenarios. For example Hulk should be able to beat Batman with relative ease but due to *Prep Time* can beat one of Marvel greatest hitters. It even happen in a comic (Non canon) with tear gas and Batman manage to kick Hulk HARD enough to make inhale. This is why and I forever will like Marvel more since they characters are more grounded and relate to more. (But I still love ❤️ Batman though)

They didnt actually defeat Doomsday by sending him to the end of time. He was actually just floating around there. Later on Brainiac realised this and brought him back which lead him into a fight with justice league. Then doomsday put down Martian manhunter, walley west classic, kyle rayner, Orion, wonder woman, plastic man in literaly 3 scans lol. He took jl down in matter of seconds.
They did defeat Doomsday. Sending him to the end of time ending the fight with him trapped, and they were still alive and not permanently injured. So they defeated Doomsday. He would have faded from existence, but Brainiac pulled him from entropy before time ended. The end of Hunter/Prey even showed Doomsday being pulled apart as time collapsed, because it is impossible to survive the end of everything.
You're confusing DEFEATED with KILLED.
Doomsday was DEFEATED by being TRAPPED at the end of time.
However, because he was TRAPPED & not KILLED, because DOOMSDAY CAN'T BE KILLED, Brainiac was able to set him free.
At the end of the Doomsday Wars story arc Doomsday was DEFEATED AGAIN & TRAPPED ,but he was not KILLED because DOOMSDAY CAN'T BE KILLED.

@@phayroent9742 You are correct on this. Part of it has to do with the events in Zero Hour. Time was restarted due to a Parallax-possessed Hal Jordan breaking down creation, and everyone having to restart their own version of The Big bang or something like that.
This meant everything had to happen over again, one of Brainiac's underling used this opportunity to get to Doomsday before entropy consumed him, since that event would have to happen over again like everything else.
Doomsday, during Superman: Doomed, grew so powerful that he punched his way out of the Phantom Zone. Why is this impressive? Two reasons: you don’t have a physical body in the Phantom Zone, but Doomsday managed to adapt and punch his way out after Xa-Du set him free from his prison within the Phantom Zone. The second? The only other character to do this freaking Superboy Prime before he got his sick Anti-Monitor armor. So yeah... Doomsday at his strongest is almost on the same level as a casual Superboy Prime.

When sentry losing to hulk is at the bottom of the list for the worst things the happen in that story that should’ve never happened then you know there’s something seriously wrong with your story.

Doomsday practically has plot armor he is as strong as he needs to be because he can adapt to any power that is a threat to him and soon become highly resistant even almost immune to any power against him so basically he's unstoppable and he will always come back from the dead resistant to what killed him so basically you have to find new ways to kill him and the longer he fights the stronger he gets and the more useless your power becomes.
I haven't met Doomsday and I haven't been inside Area 51 yet.

Good idea for a video because a lot of people seem to be absolutely clueless about how dangerous Doomsday is. I've seen people post things like "Wonder Woman isn't that powerful because she couldn't even beat Doomsday" like he's some sort of scrub. Doomsday can wipe out teams of superheroes easily and usually does. I think eventually a godly powered reality warping top tier entity is going to have to get rid of him because he's just going to keep getting stronger with every reincarnation.
The biggest threat to any Superhero is a villain that can't be killed.
These little comedy moments in the newer vids are a fine edition, gives it a more laid back feeling which is always nice
Just like Supes, different versions of Doomsday depend on the story and writer. Some versions (new 52 and Loeb versions) lose to supes , the hunter prey version poisoned him, broke his arm, and nearly killed darkseid. Some people call him a plot device, but pretty much every comic character has a villain like that so kind of moot point. I love unstoppable monsters in comics, but some people hate them.
Doomsday was in my top 3 favorite characters to play in the first Injustice game. Such a beastly character that also had armor as trait.

He's the Superman equivalent of Bane, he makes a strong impression during his debut and mostly stays at that same power level while their respective hero continues to improve and outmaneuver them

The funny thing is, Doomsday isn't just a enemy to the Justice League, nor to the Trinity, but Mainly to Superman. He has become Superman's greatest challenge, even Batman has a enemy that is considered his greatest challenge, Bane. He broke the Batman's back, paralyzed him! It took him a while for him to heal, even with Doomsday he killed Superman, but he came back to life of course.

Juan Tafoya But it’s the way they just threw in the Death of Superman arc at the end of that story when they could’ve saved that story for a whole entire movie on it’s own is a waste. Doomsday in the comics wrecked the entire JLA by himself so you really felt his presence and how terrifying and powerful he was. Also killing Superman at the end of his second appearance in the DCEU is ridiculously stupid, especially with how poor they portrayed him in the movie, when they could’ve saved that for later on in the DCEU when his character was far more fleshed out and familiar with the different heroes in the universe. It would’ve not only shown how his death impacted the rest of the DC heroes far better, but also would’ve impacted the audience far greater than it did in BvS. Overall, throwing Doomsday in at the end of BvS just feels a stupid plot device to kill off superman rather than a monster who threatens to destroy all of humanity if Superman can’t stop it.

@@viktorasgrviktoras689 Very much so. The gauntlet gives the wearer complete and total mastery and control of every aspect of reality. Thanos could easily remove Doomsday's ability of coming back to life then finish him off for good.

I'm more of a Marvel dude so always took the Hulk side when it comes to a doomsday vs. Hulk situation. After watching this video though, I don't know now. They're both Unstoppable but his adaptability during a fight will probably give him the edge plus he doesn't have a human side to slow him down

I think Doomsday is one of the most intriguing characters to ever come out of DC comics. It's just too bad we have never had a big screen true adaptation of this character, and that thing from Batman Vs Superman Dawn of Justice, was not Doomsday. Maybe someday we will see him hit the silver screen, perhaps with the reboot by James Gunn, years down the road if that Superman Legacy film is successful.
It's not really accurate to refer to Doomsday as killing Superman, without also stating that Superman killed Doomsday at that same time. And, just as Superman is not OP, neither is Doomsday, they're both Kryptonian, or at least Kryptonian in origin, one of the most powerful beings in the DCU, so they should be expected to do what they to as part of their natural physiology.

Superman can be said to be immortal also. It was said during the storyline, that Superman's body was in a deep state of healing. So, he also never really died. There was also a one-shot during the Kingdom Come storyline where Superman was revealed to still be alive 1000 years into the future. He was walking among the crowds watching the Legion of Superheroes fly by. He was aged, but still alive. @@pedroslim2

Well, they do have their limits. I think you'd probably have to use the Super Dragon Balls for that.
Only works if the Dragon is stronger than the being they are trying to get rid of. You'd need the Super Dragon Balls to get rid of Doomsday (although with how Dragon Ball Z's power scaling works, Goku will somehow surpass those which means so could Doomsday.)
