Why exactly do we have an option to skip the story? This isn't a game like XIV or GW2 which has years of content to catch up on. NGS is only two years old and the story isn't long at all. You can finish it within a day or two. Save your money people.

Just realized garoa might of known the whole truth the entire time. He probably knew zephetto for quite sometime and was training in leciel. Zeph also could've told him to keep it all secret especially from Crawford.
I wonder if they explicitly found Garoas body. Zeph just beams up Garoa to Leciel before DF nukes everything.
He's just chilling with the homies watching like it's Squid Game.
The push Garoa gave us during the DF fight was real cuz he's actually alive. 😮
They need to just remaster pso episode 1&2 and give us what we really want lol

Good recap, though I'm not sure it'll help the guy I play with who's proper-noun averse to the point that he got to chapter 6 without knowing who Crawford is. Couple details in here I forgot.
I do wish the first episode had rolled out smoother. Manon's character arc seems to be the primary focus of most of its whole, but spaced out how it was it managed to get completely lost in the shuffle of regional dilemmas and whatever any given chapter's immediate problem was. It's really well done in isolation, and maybe it would even hit for me if I played from the beginning now, but the end result is that I'm left worrying that whatever the writers are going for with episode 2 is also going to get lost over the course of us getting a couple cut scenes every couple months.
The game's story is way better than most of its (honestly persistently negative) playerbase gives it credit for, it's just released in such a manner that it's extremely difficult to keep any of its details in your mind that aren't as prevalent as "holy shit! big snake!!"

Lots of MMO's have an option to skip content to catch up to current. It's really not a big deal dude

@@ganymede4030The story is short enough to where it’s not worth the purchase compared to those other MMOs that actually have a substantial amount of content to get through before catching up. Having a purchasable skip included in this game feels rather forced.
