I love the channel. Keep up the great work. I tried to connect a backup camera in my 997.2 turbo with the new Joyeauto for PCM 3.0, but I couldn’t get the camera to work. I even tried connecting the red and black wires from the camera to the backup light wires on the passenger tail light hoping that would trigger the camera when I put it in reverse…. no luck. If you ever get the chance to install the system on a 997 and you figure out how to get a camera to work with PCM 3.0, let us know. Other than that, the Apple CarPlay works great with the Joyeauto unit. It’s a nice upgrade to the tired PCM 3.0.
So apparently if your car is manual, the camera gets powered by whatever in the rear, and the front RCA connects to the orange wire they say "no need connect" lol Which is only true if you have an automatic car. According to their website, linked in the description.
