Most of the oldest Agents do not have cinematic trailers. Just gameplay trailers. Sova, Brimstone, Breach, Sage, Reyna. Phoenix, Jett, Cypher and Viper have trailers but aside from Viper, their trailers you watched are actually not an agent trailer. The first video you saw is actually Episode 1 trailer with Phoenix and Jett, so it's not technically an agent trailer. Cypher's trailer is an April fools video because of an inside joke that he dies all the time in trailers as you saw at the beginning. At the end it says "Live on March 32". You missed one agent trailer which is Neon's. IDK why but Neon's trailer's song is subject to copyright so most people mute or skip it but it's really good.

Steph, some of agents are looking like villains, cus there is two versions of earth in the lore! good guys and bad guys, but they are looking the same, cuz valorant that's about parallel universes! but a few of good guys have a difficult way of life, so they are gray characters as well

Another ability seen used is his FRAG/MENT (molotov 11:2812:43). This ability allows KAY/O to damage agents and traps in a small area. This ability is seen used to kill Sage. "Planet in Ruin" animation(12:07). This section is depicting KAY/O's backstory. KAY/O, is from a different universe, kinda like a multiverse sort of. In his universe, the planet is at war between Radiants (People with superpowers, like Phoenix, Jett, Sage) and non-Radiants. KAY/O is specially designed to combat these Radiants, that's why you see "Time to kill some Radiants" at the end of the video. The character you recognised but didn't know her name was Reyna, another agent. She is also a Radiant and is thus KAY/O's enemy. Reyna is also the Queen of Radiants in his universe. That's basically what you need to know to understand that part of the trailer, but if there is more to his lore that you can find out about through our community :). His other ability throughout the video being used is his FLASH/DRIVE, which basically functions like a flashbang grenade in other FPS games (12:3212:46). His ultimate ability, NULL/CMD (11:4212:45) allows KAY/O to disable enemies' abilities in a large area around himself for a while, and he gains a higher fire rate and can be revived when shot down during this time.

None of the agents are "evil" really, I think that you may just be unfamiliar with the lore. A lot of the lore is hidden in their voicelines and in the player cards, with some world building in the cinematics. I would recommend scouring through the lore cinematics tbh, theyre all well animated and the lore itself is really cool.

I think Astra isn't used much because it is quite difficult, that's why you haven't played with or against her.
