Nice reaction! By the way, Kay/0 doesn’t rewind time, that first sequence is him replaying the simulation over and over through machine learning. That’s why it kept cutting to his head connected to wires, because it was collecting data on the agents.

Context/Explanation;
1. Valorant is the result if CSGO and Overwatch had a baby. It leans more on CSGO mechanics but with the character abilities like OW. So if you've played CS, you'll know how important being accurate with your shots is in that game and the same applies to Valorant.
It's also like OW but unlike in OW where you can use abilities more often, in Val you have a set limit of abilities you can use every round so being very strategic with their use is vital at getting any value from them.
2. 5:15 Yup, it's the lore for why you have 2 teams and why the same agent can be on both teams. One team is the Attacker and the other is the Defender. It's basically CS Terrorist and Counter Terrorist.
TLDR for the lore; Two Earths called *Alpha Earth* and *Omega Earth* as well as two Valorant orgs called *Valorant Protocol(Alpha)* & *Valorant Legion(Omega)* and two sets of agents belonging to those Valorant Orgs.
3. 25:46 This video a promo for the Valorant Esports Scene. It's called Valorant Champions Tour(VCT). This video was for Champions 2021. There is one for Champions 2022 as well called "Fire Again." As for Champions 2023, it should happen near the end of this year.
Currently, regional tourneys are happening for slots in Masters which in turn determines who can play for Champions.
4. 35:34 That's Sova. He is actually one of the earliest agents for the game. This compilation you're watching didn't include the earlier videos featuring the first characters introduced into the game. He along with many others were introduced in their individual vids.
5. The Skye Vietnam, Viper, Jett Music Video, and Raze Music Video were all from when Valorant acted like their official accounts for twitter and youtube got taken over by the agents.
To add on that, those guys weren't characters, they were supposed to be the known pros in the scene and their main agents.
"character abilities like OW" most of valorant abilities arent even like overwatch cause ow abilities is unbalanced as shit, valorant utilies are more on flashes smoke etc just like csgo.
There is one more organisation on omega earth called Atlas, it doesn’t have a Alpha counterpart. But from the wiki they are a security organisation
Can confirm, the full song from Harbor's trailer, RAJA, is such a banger, I couldn't stop listening to it for months... And love the representation for India even though I'm not Indian. I just love the representation in general from this game. Fade's trailer song is incredible too even though it's instrumental only, the beat is so sick and a cool nod to her Turkish roots

On the Die For You cinematic (25:44), the "characters" we see the others talking to aren't actually characters, they are supposed to represent people in real life. the music video was an ad for valorant Champions which is a competition that happens every year. The cinematic is showing the IRL player and the character of the game each one is playing. Thats why at the end they kind of change places with Phoenix, Sage, and Brimstone. Just wanted to clear up any confusion :)
I kind of wish these video compilations included some of the voice notes the devs leave in game on the training map. While they might not be visually exciting to react to they're great for giving context to some story lines and fantastic at painting a picture solely through sound effects and voice acting.
Just finished and mannnn i loved this reaction. Honestly, despite recommending them there were quite a few i hadnt seen before. Like that last skin trailer for example. But yeah theres soooo much lore in these cinematics, so much more than im sure you caught. Even during gameplay when the characters talk to each other it adds so much more to the character dynamics and their individual relationships with each other. Jett has that flirtatious side she uses for Phoenix, KAY/O despite being a bit rugged and being from a Bad Future, has slowly learned to have fun with the others! Yoru is confident, maybe too much! Theres so much to see and feel, the diversity and representation, this game is just my JAM, man! So im glad you enjoyed yourself, homie ❤
That harbour agent who controls water is not from middle East he's from India, southasia cypher the hat guy who was playing chess was middle Eastern
And there is also a song for harbour called I'm the raja only song valorant made specially for a particular agent coz the hype of a Indian agent was so big that they extracted everything from it 🤣🤣
To answer your question about the skin costs : too much. a lot of individual skins cost $20-$30. The RES bundle (the one at the end that you saw)is $100. It *is* the only way they get revenue, but.... a bit too much sometimes. That being said, I do have a few skins 'cause some of them are just so cool.

Yea I had no idea the playlist didn’t include all of the agents. Kinda makes it hard for new people like me sometimes since I have 0 knowledge. But I can always watch all the agents trailers next

@@SHSLBLAZE Valorant had 11 Agents when it was launched. The Agent trailers you've watched here is for everyone except those 11 (EDIT: rn there's 21 agents). The others don't have a proper "trailer", it's just a bunch of short videos showcasing what their abilities are

It's 4:25 am for me right now and the fact I watched this whole video and enjoyed every single second of it, I have been the player since BETA so it was so refreshing watching u react to the old ones and it felt so natural
Actually some other skins have trailers as well. The skins in valorant are just superior but also expensive. If you want to understand the lore more, there's community videos about it explaining everything based off the cinematics, the voice lines in game as well as some recordings being added to the range every few updates to keep the lore going.

That was an advert for the Val championships so the kids were a personification of the WC players
I only watched the first 6 minutes or so but I love your reactions haha, got me hyped for the lore all over again (actually lore and agent design being two of the reasons I started playing XD)
Everything is pretty on point! Other than the guns, any agent can wield any gun. The damage also varies if you hit headshots or leg shots.
There are also a few agents who's trailers were not in this video, such as omen. Thats totally fine though, there is more than enough time to watch them.
Understanding the lore of the cinematics and the game makes you even more amazed

Correction on 13:06, Blur Studios is the one that makes most of the Valorant cinematics while Arcane was done by Fortiche. They look very similar because Riot Games commissioned the animations from both companies to have the Riot Games art style. And on 59:42, Raze and Killjoy are girlfriends.

i sat through this full hour and im not even disapointed in rewatching these
Tip for the recoil: just shoot a wall and watch the pattern. then counter that. And in Val never shoot more then 3 or 4 bullets at once otherwise it gets too unpredictable. in Val you literally need 1 bullet so make a habit of trying to use just 1 and aim for a head.
also if you havent watched Arcane, do yourself a favor and watch it. It will be the best show you have watched period. It has a 9.4 on IMDB for a reason and the final episode even has a 9.7

fun fact raze and sombra has the same va, also when you start a game of valorant on each map there are coordinates and if you type those cords in it brings you to the place that the map is loosely based on
When pheonix glows like that it's a timed ability where he goes back to where he started it or if he dies it activates it too

It's definitely true that Valorant is a tactical shooter like CSGO so there's a learning curve, but I think that's why there's a big passionate community behind it. It's like chess with guns. You got to outsmart players and it's so rewarding when you win and study the game. Also way less toxic than Overwatch imo because you got to coordinate as a team to win.
I just love representation in video games me being a Mexican myself there's never really much representation but I saw gekko and Reyna released and I felt really happy (it's a good feeling man)same thing with overwatch the representation is fucking crazzzyyy I love it :D

Neon is the youngest but Gekko, Killjoy, Raze, and a few others are also pretty young.
damn if only you could react to the lore inside the game as well, like from the practice Shooting Range where Brimstone recieves his voicemail and also Cypher's office. The radio drama for Fade's release was soooooooooooooo good it gives me chills every time.
Also none of the agents have set guns that they get to use, you buy whatever gun you need at the beginning of every round regardless of your agent. So Cypher isn't designed to be a sniper he just has that gun when he is shown.
Speaking of sub-zero, brimstone's VA is Steve Blum who also voices sub starting from mkx onwards.

Really quickly, in most of the cinematics that feature different characters, the sniper guy (cypher) dies, or there's a nod to the joke that he dies a lot

It's an inside joke for the Developers that Cypher (Hat dude playing chess) always dies in cinematics and trailers, So they had to put that end scene during the Warm Up video just to kill Cypher again.
Honestly what I started to love about valorant is the different ethnicities that are in it, diff languages and accents

Yo explain for you, the music video is for their esports program, also known as the Valorant Champions Tournament (VCT). Basically they create a song for every grand final event they have yearly, also known as Champions.

Valorant basically : so valorant is a group of people who either worked for the “Kingdom” or got abilities from “Radianite”, and this is shown in let’s say Killjoy and Neon. Neon got her fast and lightning like abilities from radianite rather then Killjoy who builds stuff. So there are basically 2 worlds, 1 is realistic and 2nd is like a copy, except something’s not really right about it. That’s why in the 2nd animation you saw there were 2 Phoenix’s. On there 2nd earth “omega earth” has 1 map called Pearl (surrounded by this water like thing. And the main earth has all the other maps like Bind, Ascent, and other stuff. Brimstone and Viper created the whole valorant system (why they are agent 1 and 2) so there is multiple game modes (most recent being “Team Deathmatch” which is basically like deathmatch with abilities and gun upgrades each stage) so there is unrated, competitive, deathmatch, escalation, swift play, spike rush, and 2 others im prety sure we’re removed or seasonal (Replication and Snowball Fight) but each one is either 1 v all or 5 v 5. Each agent comes from a different areas of the world, like Skye is from Australia, sage from china, killjoy from Germany, etc. There are 4 American agents however, these are Viper, Omen (most likely but idk), Brimstone, and Gekko who is Latin American so idk where to put him at lmao. Icebox was removed from like games besides deathmatch. Some of the agents abilities are a little exaggerated in the animation. Like Kay/O isn’t like tracer, he can like take away abilities and we of the valorant community consider him a Toaster. Viper can’t do the whole smoke ability in retake. Speaking of retake you asked if phoenix’s 2nd weapon was a shotgun, but mostly you can play any gun, the first 2 rounds I suggest buying a ghost, to save for bigger weapons like the vandal, phantom, Odin, and more. You can’t respawn in the round you die in, if you do die on the right of your screen it shows how much damage you did to them, so tell that to your team and you should be able to help your team a lot. Basically the spike (bomb) is trying to take all the green and orange box things into it to take the radianite. Basically in “Die for you” they were doing an ad for “Valorant Champions” and those weren’t their relatives. Also chambers rich btw. He’s basically Batman but with guns. I wish you did this reaction now because there’s a lot more, and I wish you reacted to the agents and maps, like all of them. I’m pretty sure they switched animation people a while in (to blur studios) and the reason they love music is because each agent has a song and a playlist on the valorant Spotify. And characters do have ults! Sage can resurrect people, neon can finger people, you know it’s kinda cool. But you will and can rage if you die right when you ult. Raze and Killjoy are a canon ship, but there are other ships via voice lines like chamber and viper (more like chamber likes viper and viper wants chamber to die) and Jett x Phoenix which is popular because they have the most things together. Cypher has the most hate in all of the animations, there’s just slot that goes on, and I suggest just searching “Valorant lore” for the entire thing!
Fade showed the agents their true fears, Neon not being fast enough, Cypher being watched, Chambers perfection being broken, Breach not being strong enough, Kayo failing Brimstone, Sova not hitting his target.

So a overall explanation, the pov we were the cinamatics from is alpha earth and the duplicate earth is omega earth
Omega earth is low on radianite supply which powers almost everything to they come to alpha earth to steal radianite, that’s what the spike does. Alpha earth of course tries to stop them
Reyna(the purple lady) hates viper cuz viper did something to her sister
Kayo is from another dimension where radiants (the people with powers) take over the world with Reyna as their leader which is shown in the end of his trailer, there’s a channel that’s called “Sir Jeppy” he goes into detail on valo lore if you want to learn more about it

So for Jett's knives, her knives are oneshot to the head. To the head they will do 150 dmg and to the body 50 (i thing it was 50 to the legs to). A player has 100 hp without an armor, 125 with a light and 150 with a heavy armor
The Paralel Earrth dosent have enought Radianite so they try to steal it from the other Earth thats how u can Play against the same Agent in the other Team

I think u are thinking of Orisa when thinking of the voice actor of astra. Both characters in ow and valorant are from a west african nation. Numbani (fictional) and Ghana. The english accents are similar.

the DDR video where they show the bazooka badger, the DDR, the KO street fighter. they are finishers the game. they appear when you kill the last enemy and win the round. it's not just that gun. there are other guns with finishers. but that arcade skin is just currently the most expensive one in the game right now.

OK so just information
KJ and RAZE are the only CANON relationship in valorant they are together (the ones that used the headphones together)
ep 5 cinematic when reyna is almost gonna shoot viper she says `um alma por un alma` which means a soul for a soul. she says this because viper actually caused reynas sister lucia to fall sick and lucia is at the verge of death.
in kayos trailer (the time back robot) the purple eyed villain is reyna. its from the future. in the future lucia reynas sister dies. reyna goes out of control and starts a war. some of the people go onto reynas side some go to brims side. brims side defends humans and reynas sides sees radiants as superior and should rule earth. so she starts a war and kills most of the human population and then kayo kills reyna but theres not much to defend for as most of earth is destroyed so kayo goes back in time somehow and is now trying to stop the war from happening.
also neon in the shattered cinematic (blue hair elecctricity) she actually can power an entire citys monthly electricity with just her finger. but she cant control it which is why she has her suit reducing it to an amount to control. she has 2 mentors Reyna and sage ( the long ponytail one is sage) sage teaches neon to keep the suit and control it. reyna tells her to not control it and let it all out
