As a Mariners fan, I’m super bummed you never got to pitch for Seattle, but seeing everything unfolding in Oakland makes me realize you needed to be there way more than you needed to be here. Thanks for these videos, I really enjoy them!
The earliest ive ever been to a TMay vid. All i gotta say is, im beyond grateful somebody with your perspective of the show is so open to sharing so many stories/tidbits
Gotta pause to leave this comment. Lindor is absolutely amazing to fans. Saw the Mets and Nats in DC Sept 2023. Got there early, had seats on the 3rd base line by the dugout. He gave an autograph to a 60 something year old woman on her birthday before the game, she was so happy she was in tears. He signed my hat too once he was done signing for the kids. Just an amazing stand out guy.
@@jaysantos11 You're telling me to lighten up when you're here in a TH-cam comment section telling people to get a life when all the OP wrote was that lindor was a nice guy who gave fans autographs 😂 What a loser
Joe Mauer was the same way. He is genuinely the nicest person that I have ever met, period. I’ve met him about a dozen times on various occasions, and it’s never changed. I don’t know if there is a better guy on this planet.
It's amazing how Baseball has so many layers or the "Game within the Game" levels, and having you share your perspective with us in a genuinely sincere way is awesome.
Blueberry Scone! Love the channel, A’s fan here who is about to jump ship soon. Thank you for your service! Your channel is great please keep it up. Glad to hear you love Seattle as well. The wife and I visit almost every year.
The raising canes is magic! I too am from the PNW (shout out Bothell/Woodinville) but now live in Tahoe so whenever I go down to Reno I try to go to R.C's.
Thank you for answering my question! This is such a fantastic insight into the life of a pro player. It's great to hear so many nice things about your Mets teammates too. I'm going to have a blueberry scone with my latte tomorrow!
Im from Louisiana and my hometown of Lafayette got the first Raising Canes outside BR back in like 1999. The Caniac was 8 pieces and was legit like 7.99 plus a drink.
as a braves fan, that ‘22 season was so fun. i was at that last series you’re talking about, i was at the sunday night game and i actually saw you pitch (great outing btw). great memories.
Trevor I love these videos man, love hearing this kind of insight from a guy who’s been there and done it, and just sharing your own personal experiences and reflections. Please keep them coming!!!
Trevor bro, that was OUTSTANDING!! The honesty and insight for those of us who have no idea of what it's like "in the show." Plate umpiring is a process, but after all these years, Angel and CB still haven't caught on. Unfortunately for MLB, DeJesus is from the same school. Maybe he'll catch on. Hopefully. Blueberry scones. THE BEST!
You do a great job. Really enjoy listening to you. Most of us don’t get a chance to really interact with professionals players so I’m glad I found your channel. I’m from Springfield IL and in 1964 our small Catholic high school of 380 kids played against a Chicago team of over 2500 kids for the state title and we kicked their butts. That’s my best memory. Unfortunately I also have my worst memory that also was baseball oriented.
Just came across your channel the other day! Been a fan since Dad took me to see the Dodgers in the LA coliseum a long time ago! Played as well and always wanted what you attained in life but never did. Thanks for the insight of that life! I find your show highly entertaining and informative. One new subscriber here!
i can attest to Joe Mauer being a great dude. he was the best with fans. as a kid, my friend and i waved to Morneau and Mauer. Morneau ignored us after looking at us, Mauer smiled and waved genuinely. it means so much to you when you’re a kid. i always respected Mauer after that
I applaud your personal honesty and I think what made you special enough to get as far as u did was the competitive nature you had, so the part about not getting over blown games makes a lot of sense.
Love this! Definitely hope you'll do more. And blueberry scones are fantastic. Though I do lean more toward making plain, which go better (in my opinion) with jam & clotted cream!
Love the content man! Looking forward to more videos and streams! Next time you are in Daytona Beach, I got a spot for you to try their blueberry scones....
Dont forget Trevor the Phanatic could also call in Gritty as his back up, no one would want to deal with both of those wild mascots at the same time XD
Speaking of Fried Chicken, when I was in Oakland for 2023 visiting my Royals and logging my 21st MLB stadium, I read up on bbq in the area b/c you know KC bbq snob haha. Came across Horn Barbecue and it was good; long wait though my goodness. Over an hour in line with only 15 people in front of me. BUT the chef, opened Kowbird, a fried chicken spot, I unfortunately didn’t get to try but looked so so good. And blueberry scone!? Like in the letter, my guy all the scones for you! Thank YOU for your time! Always fun videos.
Fun story... The very last game I played in the Braves organisation was in 2014 in Charleston against the Yankees. That Yankees minor league lineup had Tyler Wade, Mike Ford, Miguel Andujar and obviously big ole Aaron Judge. They murdered me 😂 Ive had a regular job like everybody else since... BUT I do have a little bit cooler stories to tell then most people!
Loving the content Trevor! Miss you as a Met every day as I stare at this roster lol If I can provide some unsolicited feedback (what else are comment sections good for), your mic gain might be a bit hot. I'm noticing quite a bit of clipping even when you arent doing it on purpose. And blueberry scones for proof of making it to the end
The question I have is whether you have considered going into coaching? Blueberry scone. There's a coffee shop near me that bakes great blueberry scones, cinnamon rolls, and just about anything else. He even bakes the bread for sandwiches, too. Main Street Coffee in Brownsville, Oregon. See ya!
Such a bummer you didn't play with Seattle. Would have loved to have a baseball card of yours in a Mariners uniform. The only place to get Scones in my town is at the Umpqua Lighthouse gift shop. My girlfriend has had them before and liked them, but this last time she had one they were kind of stale.
There's no place around me that makes blueberry scones, but there is a spot that makes blueberry muffins. However, they are very hit and miss. It's either THE BEST MUFFIN THAT EVER BLUEBERRY'D, or it's a cranberry muffin because the guy working there thinks blueberries are red.
Joe Mauer is literally the nicest person I’ve ever met, period. I don’t think there’s a nicer human on this planet than Joe Mauer. I’ve met him a dozen times, and he is always just a good dude. He went to my high school and they still are talking about how he made it as a three sport athlete at a sport school just because he was such a good teammate
Back in the day I was a clubbie and when the twins came into town Torii Hunter, Jacque Jone and Eddie Guardado would always play some kind of card game or dominoes. I would definitely putt Torii Hunter at my table as well.
Do you just hate scones or blueberries? Why the combo? I feel scones are one of those you gotta get em fresh or else it’s a way different experience. Ughh. Why am I even commenting here lol I must be bored
Dusty Wathan was a catcher for the Buffalo Bisons in 2004 when they won the championship. The Indians had a great farm system during that time. I still have the broken bat that he gave me. Did you collect memorabilia from other players?
Trevor, where do I buy one of those hats. As a Mets fan who loved you on our team and have gone through the Wilpons to now Steve. I need to support A's fans in having their owner sell the team.
Blueberry scones are the bomb! Thanks for the fun, refreshingly honest perspective! I bumped into a high profile NFL player in a bar in North Dakota that played first the Vikings. It was a fun night. What a great guy. You remind me of him. We asked him about teammates and he said the nicest, friendliest most fun player on the team was Randy Moss and the worst biggest d***k on the team was Chris Carter. So different than what was portrayed on tv. My question is did you have teammates that were portrayed one way but in reality were totally different? Thanks for sharing and giving us a fun video to watch!
I have a question about being drafted. When you’re a highschooler and you have to the opportunity to go pro or go to college what goes into that decision?
As Mets fans we always hear often about how hef is a great baseball mind, if you could go into that and explain what makes him such a great coach it would be awesome, we’re always kinda left wondering how he’s made it through so many different front offices and managers. Blueberry Scones
Wouldn’t it be great if Canes added blueberry scones to the menu? Just sayin. Nice shout out to the Baby Jesus for closing out his last game, you may need to help him close out his induction speech if your videos have taught me anything. lol
the flashback judge clip was great lol
As a Mariners fan, I’m super bummed you never got to pitch for Seattle, but seeing everything unfolding in Oakland makes me realize you needed to be there way more than you needed to be here. Thanks for these videos, I really enjoy them!
I agree, would have been so cool to see him pitch here! Cheers fellow lady Mariners fan! (I know only 1 other so I had to make a point to say hello)
The earliest ive ever been to a TMay vid. All i gotta say is, im beyond grateful somebody with your perspective of the show is so open to sharing so many stories/tidbits
Super appreciate the honesty and reflexivity to tell us "Money"

The clip of Judge homering and your face SENT me

This was a random pop up recommendation from TH-cam - wow - really enjoyable! Thanks for the post.
As a Braves fan with season tickets me and my dad were at every Braves vs Lets game and that last series was so electric in Truist
Blueberry Scone! Love the channel, A’s fan here who is about to jump ship soon. Thank you for your service! Your channel is great please keep it up. Glad to hear you love Seattle as well. The wife and I visit almost every year.

Dutchies represent! Surprised you didn't add "learn Dutch" to that list. Thanks for those answers! And thanks for the blueberry scone.
Saw you at FansFest. Good to see you as always. Keep it up man
Im from Louisiana and my hometown of Lafayette got the first Raising Canes outside BR back in like 1999. The Caniac was 8 pieces and was legit like 7.99 plus a drink.
Coincidentally I was eating Canes while watching this video. Something about great minds I guess

The humble brag on the 3 straight no hitter thing is outstanding.
Blueberry scone. I love this series. I'm so glad you're doing this.
Blueberry Scone. I worked the last 2022 Mets/Braves series in ATL, including the field for one. absolutely electric atmostphere.
It warms my heart every time I hear that, yes, Joe Mauer really is as cool and friendly as we all think he is!
i can attest to Joe Mauer being a great dude. he was the best with fans. as a kid, my friend and i waved to Morneau and Mauer. Morneau ignored us after looking at us, Mauer smiled and waved genuinely. it means so much to you when you’re a kid. i always respected Mauer after that

Great video. I laughed at the Raising Canes comment - I live in Baton Rouge where it originated. Blueberry scone!
Portland recently got a Raising Cane's. You can take the MAX from PDX right to Pioneer Place for it. I don't like scones.
I went there a week or two ago. The dipping sauce is like a peppery salad dressing, which I didn't care for. But the chicken and the tea were amazing.
Couldn't wait to see this after I saw the notification. Great work!
I was at your HS semi final game at Safeco that you referred to (13k). Met you Dad I think! Fun channel, best of luck in your post mlb career TM! 🍻
I loved this. Loved the insight you provide of the game we love to watch as fans.

Good stuff Trevor. Amazing answers for most of the questions, some were pretty obvi. Loved it when you were a Mets reliever!
Blueberry scones. Loved this video and we need a part 3
Blueberry scones..never had one, but I might now.
Also, I've hugged the Phanatic. Nothing sharp, but he IS buff enough to do one-arm push-ups.
He’s even more dangerous now.
Great Video, Very relatable, Love watching baseball players talking about life and ball, and I too confess a deep appreciation for blueberry scones.

The scone spot by pike place was amazing back in the day.
You make really good content, my man!
Glad I subscribed to the channel Trevor. Great content always
As a Braves fan having you come out in 2022 I was dreading it.

Great episode, Trevor. Really love these. And what is that elephant cap?

Funny how small the world is :) Mike Bolsenbroek used to be my pitching coach for 1 season back in 2012 when he was playing for Regensburg, Germany.

Great video man!
I read an article that some World Cup soccer coaches ban having sex day before the game and on game day. Did your team have any rules on this?
Blueberry Scone. Also this video was a very interesting watch!
