This needs to have an even deeper dive with Trevor Plouffe when he revives Sequence. Would love to see him break down your swing, while you could breakdown the pitching effort on that soft home run of his in Philly against Kiké Hernández. 😂
It makes me happy how quickly this channel is growing. It's great, cuz this guy is a real person, but still better than all of us (unless we have MLB pitchers in the comments)
Appreciate you being able to relive these wild moments with a great sense of humor. The commentary was truly visceral and had me in stitches. Just as good as fried dough!
You fouled off 7 of 12 pitches. I am near certain that if I got 100 pitches, and a coach talking to me between them, I wouldn't make contact 7 times. Almost as certain of that as I am that fried dough is delicious.
Hitting a baseball in the majors is the hardest task in sports. Nhl goalies have scored goals. Kickers have scored touchdowns. Mugsy bouges could dunk. Making contact, man thats sweet. Nice work.
My little nephew and i went to the baseball card shop yesterday. We found a Trevor May autographed baeball card, you better believe i bought it immediately.
Trevor, this was a great video. I enjoy all the content you have been providing. You are easily in the Top 3 of channels I watch on YT. A Padres fan here but Twins are my AL team and I will always forever connect you with them. If you are ever in SD, I hope I can catch up with you and get a autograph. Thanks again for all the great content.
Trevor, I think you're analysis is great here and very candid. While your swing mechanics uh...leave a lot to be desired... despite that, you are actually making contact on your swings. I know they're fastballs, but there are a lot of people who have never seen this velocity and many more who could not make contact on all of your first few fastballs you saw. Like, honestly man, you have good hand-eye coordination and some sense of the depth perception aspect down. If you actively worked on your swing mechanics, you probably could've had some base hits to right field. One thing is though, you actually tried. You have it an effort. That's more than other pitchers can say, too. Give yourself some credit!
Your body was bailing on every pitch as that's the path the fear was taking to leave your body. This is exactly how a mere mortal feels when facing a great pitcher.
Say what you will about batting stances and inability to get the ball into play, but the fact you actually made contact with over half the pitches you ever faced is insanely impressive.
Fried dough with cinnamon sugar, or powdered sugar (and you can dip it in hot marinara sauce as well for a twist!) is delicious!... hey I gotta say this though, you made contact better than some hitters I know of, so that's a thing!
Fried dough is great! Watching your at bats…not so good. I love it that you’re self deprecating, people like that, especially from a guy that had the talent to be a good major league pitcher. Ok, I’ll admit it, I am a Twinkies fan. Thanks for sharing!
Yes to fried dough! I grew up in Western PA; we were all about the funnel cakes. Something I've been curious about for some time - what's it like for baseball wives & girlfriends? I'd love to know more about that.
At least you made contact a lot. Just needed to swing a little earlier. 0-3 with 3 k's could have possibly turned into 2-3 with 2 bloop or seeing-eye singles.
This batting prowess is why I hate modern day baseball rules. Just imagine if we had been cheated of these glorious moments. lol. You looked better than 99% of us would look.
I had an idea for a video. Tommy John and related injuries are on the rise. Are Submarine Pitchers going to become more common because their style is thought to be less stressful?
You got Major League at-bats and made contact. Not the worst (see modern-day Javy Baez).
This isn’t even a burn on Javy… just an accurate retelling of his Spring
Why do nerds shit on Javy Baez 24/7/365 ??? Weak sauce.
@@DAILYBLUNTATHON bc hes not good
@@wink_butterdog there are plenty of people who aren't good at baseball- meanwhile u racist
@@DAILYBLUNTATHON i think blud likes javy
My favorite part of this video is finding out Trevor listens to Modern Baseball
This is the comment i was looking for
Came here for this comment…
Rumor has it that Lackey & Cueto still meet up from time to time and talk about how lucky they are to have not faced you more. Fried dough!
😂 Kate and friend could call Sunday Night Baseball. No coddling, just the hard facts! 😂

"He boomed me, he fucking boomed me" - Trevor May on a John Lackey curveball
I loved how in your first AB you stepped out to gather yourself. Most of us would have just crapped ourselves at anything more than 70 mph…..😂😂😂
It makes me happy how quickly this channel is growing. It's great, cuz this guy is a real person, but still better than all of us (unless we have MLB pitchers in the comments)
This….was amazing. I laughed for at least 50% with a surprising lacked of empathy 🤔😅😂
it was step on the bug and squish the ant for me in my youth.... with that reference, you totally missed the bug!
ps fried dough cinnamon sugar and butter only no powder
The fact that you’re making contact is a W in itself

I came here to say this also. (will always get the ridiculously huge footlong sold outside safeco^H^H^H^H^H^H T-Mobile park instead of fried dough.)
you literally looked like fried dough in that box, playboy (love you Trev 🧡💙)
0:01 looks like you intentionally stepped in the bucket, tried to have the lamest swing possible. Haha.
Making contact on almost 60% of the pitches seen is a win in my book. Very fun fried dough video!
Hitting a baseball in the majors is the hardest task in sports. Nhl goalies have scored goals. Kickers have scored touchdowns. Mugsy bouges could dunk. Making contact, man thats sweet. Nice work.
Then there was Ohtani.
My dude, you fouled off four pitches in your very first MLB at bat and annoyed the pitcher and catcher. You're doing amazing!
"Really squishin' the bug" 😂😂
This is so so great.
Hope he never stops
My little nephew and i went to the baseball card shop yesterday. We found a Trevor May autographed baeball card, you better believe i bought it immediately.
I was cracking up most of this vid, love your humor
I think you said "Wow I actually hit it" hahaha

I've always wonder how freaky it was to hit when Cueto does his funky twists. Fried dough
Dude you are an absolute gem 😭😭😭😭😭 this shit was great

Love these videos and your insight - even batting. Fried dough doh...
This is awesome. Thank you.
Can't believe that guy in the front row laughed at you wiffing that cutter in the last strike out. I doubt he was laughing at the fried dough.
Better than I would ever do and really glad you can laugh at it.
Say what you will about batting stances and inability to get the ball into play, but the fact you actually made contact with over half the pitches you ever faced is insanely impressive.

You shoulda done the Bo Jackson "break the bat over your knee" on your last AB.
You made contact, which how many of us would have looked way sillier. Fried dough is amazing.
Cueto really got some fried dough by you there. But at least you made Lackey angry, which is a net positive.
😂😂😂 this was great
Same in that cutter though. Would not like that so close to the knees. 😂

I mean hey you made a bunch of contact at least Trevor lol
Fried dough is yum. Also, I enjoyed that video. Making contact on 90+ Mph pitches is my dream.
Have the same name, have approximately the same swing too 😂
You should break down the best baseball reliever at bat by my San Francisco Giants, Santiago Casilla against the marlins.
This is hilarious. Love your content
Best video today 😂
Yes to fried dough! I grew up in Western PA; we were all about the funnel cakes.
Something I've been curious about for some time - what's it like for baseball wives & girlfriends? I'd love to know more about that.
fried dough. I had a chocolate pecan - filled raspberry syrup - drizzled one once that was the best ballpark food I have ever tasted.
This is golden content!
This is the video I didn’t know I needed
Hey trev you battled out there though! Better than side could ever do lol
Fried Dough. Fouling off 7/12 is the definition of battling.
Fried dough in a bucket, who could ever doubt you?
I would be pretty happy to make contact with ANY pitch by a MLB pitcher. You made contact with your first 4...that's pretty good IMO.
Fried Dough and a video about a pitcher hitting. That's what I'm talking about.
Whose bat did you use?
Did you have your own batting helmet?
Fried dough is great, but the Mets are almost as good. What was it like seeing the new Mets ownership of Steve Cohen when he first took over in 2021?
Yooooo love the hat! Mobo forever
Pitchers playing with their food 🤣
Might as well have gone up there with a lump of fried dough in your hands, bud. Thanks for the breakdown!
I miss Modern Baseball too, Sports was goated
Did anyone on the Twins give you as much helpful feedback on your hitting as you just gave yourself? If not, it's on them! 🤣
Fried dough
Fried dough! As a portly gentleman, I'm 40% fried dough
At least you didn't look terri-fried, dough certainly scared is an understatement..
At least you made contact a lot. Just needed to swing a little earlier. 0-3 with 3 k's could have possibly turned into 2-3 with 2 bloop or seeing-eye singles.

Fried dough state fair classic
Fried dough, lol
Fried Dough.
Honestly, not the worst, solid contact rate.
Do you realize that your hat is about a Midwest Emo band and not the game of baseball?
There's a band called Modern Baseball lol
Not everybody doesn't listen to music
@@DAILYBLUNTATHON thats why he puts Easter eggs in his videos... might throw an easter egg to another Demo
Fried dough, fried dough, fried dough, fried dough, Fried Dough!
The only thing missing was to break the bat over your knee after strike three
As an A’s fan, where can I get a Trevor May game used/game issued bat?
I’m going to a Oakland game on Tuesday
Is the hat from the band Modern Baseball?
yes lol doubt he knows
This is the content we crave.
I had an idea for a video.
Tommy John and related injuries are on the rise.
Are Submarine Pitchers going to become more common because their style is thought to be less stressful?
I was gonna comment about your at bats in your next Q&A
LOL...turns out hitting big league pitching is hard!
7 fouls in 12 pitches? Thats extremely good for a non-hitter.
You were on 🔥
You should get fellow Trevor, Plouffe to help you breakdown your hitting.
Yeah, have a baseball channel called The Two Trevs. I'd watch that.
Adjustments were made. With a few thousand more at bats I think you’re a regular Barry bonds.
fried dough is yum
Whats your favorite Modern Baseball song?
Love it 😂
You should do a video on Coors Field
Dude, having to hit off Cueto after years of not hitting is just unfair and so cruel lmao
Fried dough… 😎
After reliving this experience, are you for or against the universal DH?
Pitchers hitting is a national treasure
I was always against the DH-until I saw Trevor May hit.
All kidding aside, even fouling off MLB pitching is an accomplishment in itself.
Should’ve been an all star!
Fried dough!
How did the Twins prepare pitchers for inter league play? Did you have to take BP? Watch video? I enjoyed the breakdown of your at bats.
Fried dough.
Some of those cuts weren't thaaaat bad....😬. Fried dough
If Bartolo can hit a home run, so can Trevor!
he has legend status though
