What of skull island were to be a sort of monster island? Where monsters such as Godzilla and Mothra, to name a few, go to sort of recharge their batteries, so to speak?
Skull Island is a strange island. Surrounded by a perpetual storm all around. The place is the last remnant of what once the Permian Period. So in an essence it is the perfect place for the Kaijus to lived but it got only limited space housing not that much 17 and counting titans being known that soon converged unto the island. Its an eternal land that the natives doesn't aged but still die in mortal sense like disease and natural causes.

Before someone whines about it, the mo-cap actors WERE listed later in the credits, where they normally are. The standard procedure would be not crediting non-existent persons, and as such the big 4 appearing as themselves in the credits effectively means nothing legally. It's still really cool.

Humans in the Godzilla have made a lot of grave mistakes throughout the Godzilla franchise. Here are a few examples in no particular order. 1. Kiryu- Making him out of the bones of the original Godzilla, which caused him to destroy Japan. 2. Megaguirus- The black hole which made a time portal which made the Meganulon appear. 3. Hedorah- Pollution gave more power to the creature. 4. Biollante- Fusing the G-Cells and Rose cells together. Big Mistake 5. Godzilla- The biggest mistake they could make. The bombing of Hiroshima was devastating, and Godzilla was one that made the Japanese think very differently about nuclear weapons.

god, the human characters were horrid, the mother especially. Only Tywin Lannister was top-notch. I'd rather have watched just the monster fights, these things had more character anyway
This from SOAD FB post: The track features a full orchestra, Japanese Taiko drums, a male chanting choir and the thrashing rock sounds of Dethklok (Brendon Small, Gene Hoglan ''Official Page'', and Bryan Beller) from Metalocalypse.
Holy crap really? Bear realy made sure this song was as awesome as be could make it. I love that the chrior and taiko drums are heard in every song we heard so far too
This is, by far, the perfect song to end this movie. Not only does it have the riffs more defined and the beat being more catchy than the original, the added chanting makes the song not only makes it fun to chant, but adds a hint of intimidation and epic impact of Godzilla roaming the city. LONG LIVE THE KING!
The original is actually more catchy, but you're right in the "Intimidating" part, for example, in the Movie, a bunch of Insects and plants imagines are show with some Color reverse effects n stuff, and the Guitar riff goes harder (Even tho its played in a high pitch) with some delay and changing the overdrive with full distortion, to me its like getting hurt, because the visual effects are usually used for damage, but with that Guitar riff in the Background is more of a Huge thing, like its trying its best to sound big and intimidating. (Sorry for my bad English tho, just wanted to give my opinion on the Musical side)
I legit recently bought Pokemon shield and named my tyranitar Godzilla and every time I use him for raid battles and he gets huge I play this song as a tribute to our 1 true king

Still the best film of Monsterverse for me. Because i was not Godzilla fan and didn't understand why people like giant lizard. But after this movie, i understood. I understood why he is a King of the Monsters. Plus, King Ghidorah in this movie was SUPER strong and to defeat him Godzilla need huge power boost from nuke and stabilization from Mothra and a little help from humans.
It's almost amusing that despite everyone's efforts to pull the outcome one way or another, Emma was technically right all along. Releasing all of the Titans was indeed the only way to save the environment - she was just missing key points in her plan. First, she never considered the possibility that humans and Titans could coexist, which ends up happening. Second, she was missing an important element - Godzilla himself, the only monster with the brute power and jaw-dropping intimidation factor required to keep the other Titans in check.
Emma fell into the "humans are the real monsters" trap and made no effort to claw her way out, only try to pull others in with her. If she'd just stood up and levelled her head instead of wallowing and turning a blind eye to the suffering she was willing to cause then maybe she would have been able to see all the key points she was missing...
This gets more apparent when Mark, the guy in the entire group that arguably wanted Godzilla dead the most for the loss of his son, ended up being the one suggesting the plan on healing Godzilla by feeding him a nuke. The healing of the world truly started, when man swallowed his pride, and hate, to help another, his enemy even, and focus on helping the world, and all those that live in it, and not sacrificing one over the other, which was what Emma was essentially going to let happen, and the alternative to killing all the kaiju would eventually lead to the end of all life altogether. With the outcome of human and kaiju working together, and what the credit scenes entail, the world truly is healing, with no more being sacrificed. You know, until the next movie assumingly unless they take it out of populated areas.
I think they're comparing it to shin godzilla, which was a return to the original format in what it was about, but these movies are more about the monsters than the people, this isn't ment to be compared to things like shin or 1954, no these movies are about godzilla, not how to stop him

I can already imagine the movie ending, Godzilla roaring and this song starting to play and the credits rising or the moment the last fight against the Ghidora begins to play, it will be beautiful, epic
Ramon Perez couldn't agree more
This was the best credits scene in any movie. When it sad "Titans to converge on Skull Island", I was like, Ah shit, here we go again.
yup here we go again
What of skull island were to be a sort of monster island? Where monsters such as Godzilla and Mothra, to name a few, go to sort of recharge their batteries, so to speak?
Skull Island is a strange island.
Surrounded by a perpetual storm all around. The place is the last remnant of what once the Permian Period. So in an essence it is the perfect place for the Kaijus to lived but it got only limited space housing not that much 17 and counting titans being known that soon converged unto the island.
Its an eternal land that the natives doesn't aged but still die in mortal sense like disease and natural causes.
@@brucelindahl9814 Kong is gonna be pissed lol
Guys, it was saying seismic disturbances beneath Skull Island. Kong isn't the issue. But yeah, I could see Kong getting pissy when they show up. He's a titan who didn't respond to the calls, so he's probably "different". Possibly an alpha.

Before someone whines about it, the mo-cap actors WERE listed later in the credits, where they normally are. The standard procedure would be not crediting non-existent persons, and as such the big 4 appearing as themselves in the credits effectively means nothing legally. It's still really cool.

2019 critics: MORE HUMANS
"Reality is often disappointing"
Godzilla vs Kong: has finally balanced
Critics: NEEDS MORE NORMAL ANIMALS
god, the human characters were horrid, the mother especially. Only Tywin Lannister was top-notch. I'd rather have watched just the monster fights, these things had more character anyway
Cmon critics the humans in the 2014 movie only talked for 2 hours and you want them to buzzkill the movie again?
Yes spring trap my lord just kidding
Reality can be whatever I want
Endgame broke my heart, but with his atomic burning breath, the King welded it back together

Dude....fuck yes
Good analogy
This from SOAD FB post: The track features a full orchestra, Japanese Taiko drums, a male chanting choir and the thrashing rock sounds of Dethklok (Brendon Small, Gene Hoglan ''Official Page'', and Bryan Beller) from Metalocalypse.
Holy crap really? Bear realy made sure this song was as awesome as be could make it. I love that the chrior and taiko drums are heard in every song we heard so far too
Ken now that's brootal
Brutal.
Dethklok will make everything metal. Blacker than the blackest black, times infinity.
69 year's of destruction, long live the king.
Quinten Carignan i love this version but BOC version is homage to the originals. Both are amazing for which they represent!
More catchy...???
Nah, it just has a feel of grandeur. I think the original was more catchy.
Agreed.
I was too hyped when they took us back to the skull Island during end credits and this song was playing

Alita Battle Angel and Venom suffer the same thing.
"History shows again and again how nature points out the folly of man!"
Why do the critics hate good movies?
@@Deutalios818 because they're some people who are biased to certain films. They shun greater films because they are jealous of other films for being better than the ones they personally like. It's because of that envy that they want to shun greater films and misguided the population from watching that the critics envy. That's my take on it at least.
@@Deutalios818 because critics watch a ton of movies which have made them immune to the experience of watching. it's their job to analyze it, which can result in them breaking the movies down into details, rather then looking at it as a whole. and when that happens flaws that the average viewer easily ignores become more obvious and prominent. contrary to what some movies and tv shows suggest most critics don't actively try to not like movies. it's just their brains are wired differently. In most cases I'm sure when they don't like something, they're not maliciously gleeful. they're probably disappointed.
@@Deutalios818 sadly, today's critics are politically drivin in their reviews. Godzilla wasnt progressive enough for them.
And now it’s been 5 years since KOTM came out still enjoy the movie and Happy 70th anniversary Godzilla

To be fair, Rodan and Godzilla didn't really like each other very much. They had kind of a begrudging working relationship. Then again, you get the impression that Godzilla utterly hates Mothra...not surprising since she has more wins over him that anyone besides Ghidorah...
TheKyrix82 But it also goes hand in hand with their symbiotic relationship. If I remember, when mothra dies, she transfers the energy to Godzilla, which in return Godzilla transfers that energy to a new egg for the “next” Mothra to be born. This ensures that both will continue to exist in a almost never ending cycle unless Godzilla dies after mothra boosts him.

Well said
Emma fell into the "humans are the real monsters" trap and made no effort to claw her way out, only try to pull others in with her. If she'd just stood up and levelled her head instead of wallowing and turning a blind eye to the suffering she was willing to cause then maybe she would have been able to see all the key points she was missing...
And the main f up of her end was waking up the one monster that had the ability wake up all of them at once
And Godzilla is the only true king Ghidorah just appeared out of nowhere trying to take the throne from him

He points out the folly of mann

The movie had its problems, but everything with the monsters was perfect. And that last shot, leading up to this radical cover? That easily makes up for the faults.
I absolutely loved how they showed how dangerous these monsters really are. We are nothing but small fry to them. All hail the Kaiju!

but the damn fight omfg godzilla a fucking beast
