    Thank you for the great tip on ironing the zipper opening before turning it. Putting in zipper pockets is probably what I dislike doing the most because they never lay flat for me. I think ironing before turning will help tremendously!

      You're welcome Elaine. Ironing made a huge difference for me 😁

    Your videos are so well done. I have made tote bags before but always seem to learn something new from your video. Thank you and greetings from New York City!

    Super, as always. Fun to watch you sew (when I can’t - it’s how I get my sew-jo fix. Lol). Thanks for another great video.

    I just found your channel recently and have subscribed. You have confirmed all my process esp batch jobs. You’ve given more ideas that I will try out. Last Xmas, I made 25 totes with machine embroidery in front and many trick pockets inside and out but now you have given me more ideas. Thank you for sharing. This is awesome.

    Christine - Great easy to follow instructions. Love all the pockets. I've made a few reversible bags for charity and like you made the lining shorter, giving it a nice finish. And whatever bags/pouches I make, I always double sew my boxed corners for strength. Hope you get top dollar 💲for your beautiful well made bags

    Another cracking bag! So of course it gets the old brain ticking with more ideas…I’m thinking a smaller version of the expanding bag installed vertically with the clip inside that big bag, put all my bits in, no need to detach it from the bag just pull it out, would be especially handy when travelling, also love the idea of a smaller bag attached to the big beach tote bag too, also thinking a clip installed in the pocket with the hidden pocket for keys.ohh and one for a tissue bags too🤔 just endless possibilities! Can’t wait for the next bag instalment 💖

      I'm now thinking we can get rid of the bottom of our bags completely, and have a whole bunch of clips hanging from the top with all our bits much easier to find🤣

      We should all have more clips in our bags Debbie. It would save having to rummage around the bottom looking for things😀

    Hi again. Do you ever consider, or have you done, a video saying how your bags and creations have done in your shop?. You frequently say the pricing, and you will see how it does in the shop. How did it do??
    Love the videos. The best and Thank you

    • @ChristinesHomeAffairs
      @ChristinesHomeAffairs  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Bernadette. The answer is Yes!. I do a quarterly sales report every three months showing you what I've sold in the shop, how many, and what the total sales are that I've made. I've also done annual sales. Here's the playlist for the videos so far. th-cam.com/play/PLwdRgjJztIb2CzNSBcHjG_tuG8UU2aKkS.html&si=RvSiqkjxLxhZTCsp There's another report due in April😀

    ?? When prepping the main fabric should I press a fold 1 1/4” (instead of 1”) to allow for the seam allowance that will eventually be sewn at the top of the bag?
    Great bag! I’m almost finished making it!!

    • @ChristinesHomeAffairs
      @ChristinesHomeAffairs  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don't remember what the instructions were in the video Lucy, but if I said to fold 1", then I should have allowed for seam😁

    Great bag. How many different bags have you made in full?

    • @ChristinesHomeAffairs
      @ChristinesHomeAffairs  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Way too many to count Lucille. I know that last year, I had over 40 different products, with 950 items in stock. I'd hate to think how many I've made🤣

    When you say regular dress makers interfacing-do you mean SF 101? I hear you say it so often and wondered what it was that you actually used? Great video as always!!!

    • @ChristinesHomeAffairs
      @ChristinesHomeAffairs  ปีที่แล้ว

      Michelle, I have no idea what it's called. I purchase wholesale from suppliers, and this is just what I used to sell to customers when dressmaking, but that supplier didn't carry that particular brand. It's just a light weight fusible interfacing😊
