Feeling my blood pressure drop every time I watch is the added bonus of your videos. The species notes are fun. Interesting find of that Flickaesaurus!
Great video! Enjoyed beautiful scenery camping, tasty looking food cooking, family, animal identification (favorite was Flickus Offspringus), and that plump little brown trout was the cutest
Loved the video Chris! Looks like you had a great time with your family. Really nice location, I especially liked that little creek winding through the wide open meadow. Thanks for sharing your experience!
Thanks man! Me too, that tiny creek was something special. Literal 20 incher posted on instagram from this creek just a couple weeks prior to my visit. Need to get back there again eventually and give it another go.
Welcome back, Chris. Nice to see you out with the fam. Your little guy is an animal, also love the "species spotlight" of him. Glad you got the stink off with that brownie. Can't wait for more vids.
My wife sometimes watches your videos with me, mostly for the great nature shots you have as opposed to some other fishing youtubers I watch. That said, I support more nature in the videos, and maybe a little camping.
Glad you liked it! They feel like completely different rods to me. The Yari feels like extremely nice graphite that is so supple from that small percentage of fiberglass. The FoxFire feels like a legit fiberglass rod. It's also noticeably shorter. They are 2 of my favorite rods ... I'd use the Yari anywhere the length was needed and the FoxFire when I wanted a much shorter rod.
Lol, that little brown looked like a panfish! Fellow Yari owner here. What length line do you like to use with the Yari? Does it vary depending on the fly? Love all of the nature / scenery / camping in your videos!
I know man! Of the hundreds (thousands?) of browns I've caught that guy was definitely unique. I was dying when I first saw him haha! I like to keep things pretty simple. Whatever the rod, I typically run the length of rod, minus 2-4 feet for level line, then like 2-5 feet of tippet. Longer tippet for deeper water etc. Glad you dug all the nature and camping in this one, appreciate you watching!
I like the camping bits. It gives a sense of what the entire experience was like. Keep up the good work!
That's great to hear! Thanks so much for watching and dropping your thoughts here.
Yes to more camping! 👍😉
Sounds good! Thank you!
Love your videos. Thanks for sharing. Camping stuff is good too.
Glad to hear it! Thanks for watching!
Good times, thanks for sharing.

Thanks Rob! Good to be back! Lol yeah I couldn't help but give him a weird label. More vids coming soon!
Great video! Nice to mix it up. I enjoyed the bonus non fishing content. I'm sure you're proud that your Flickus Offspringus rocks the Crocks too 👌
Glad you liked it! I certainly am, like father like son haha!
Your videos are very therapeutic!

I love that! Thanks for the feedback - I appreciate it.
That little chubby brown trout is my spirit animal.
Omg haha 🤣
NM is an overlooked state for trout….with the exception of the San Juan. Tons of good small waters there
Seriously! Definitely seems that way. I love a lot of the places I've seen in NM.
Love the scenery & camping footage. How would you compare the Yari vs Fox fire for small streams?

Looks like those fish been drinking to much Budweiser!!!
Hahaha, my little dolphin shaped boy? Indeed!
