I love how many different London eras are represented here, all the way back to the age of Henry V. I think I read somewhere that this Royal Park is the oldest of the parks, or the first to be enclosed. Thanks for a super documentary. Waiting patiently and curiously for part 2. 🤔
Well, there won't be that many curiosities as the other videos are way shorter than 17 min 😁 But surely there will be what to learn and also some magnificent views:)
Fantastic work as ever Pavel! Lots of very interesting facts, I quite relate to Christopher Wren as I must have symmetry too. Did you know there is another statue of General Wolfe, in Westerham, Kent (just outside Orpington), where he was born and grew up. It’s not too far from Winston Churchill’s home, Chartwell. Wolfe’s parents (and he) moved to Greenwich (hence the statue)l but he’s truly a Kentish Man.
