This is a very informative video about indigenous people of Canada. I really appreciate you taking interest into their history, however calling them Indian, Red Indian is considered highly offensive and disrespectful.
They went through genocide, small children where removed from their parents and forced into Catholic Residential School. Many were killed and lost, In 2022 , Pope Francis apologizes for abuses at Catholic residential schools in Canada Pope Francis issued a long-awaited apology and took responsibility for the church's cooperation in generations of abuse and cultural suppression at Catholic residential schools across Canada.
Now Canadian government is doing everything to restore their lives, lost glory and languages.

I heard some story about Red Indians and why they got the name..
Christopher Colombus and Vasco da gama went on to find the Sea Route to our India..
Vasco da gama went to right place and find the route and reached Kerala...
But Colombus reached to a different place and thought he reached India ... There he find the native people and watched them not in black color(Indians are black skin ppl)... But they looked like Red skin ppl, and he thought they are indians with red skin and named them Red-Indians....
This is tentative... U might know this story... But this is what I heard... Thought to share it to you...

African - blacks
India - Dravidian (whole india)
But so many invasion happened in India, north india was heavily mixed with Aryan and Dravidian, that's why they will not call themselves as Aryan (white)
And South India also mixed but not heavy as north india, that's why some of us still call themselves as Dravidian(black)
As of today, whole race concept was invalid. You might address yourself by country (india), state (tamilnadu), language (tamil) and your religion. Caste also invalid ( coz we don't do caste oriented job, caste defined by ur job). So I'm Indian tamil hindu. That's all.
