No thanks.
The highlights are now half of the time they were previously, and the shaky camera is 8 frames a second 😂?
@@simonbarker4017 I noticed the drop in highlights time and quality as well. Plus the prices are ridiculous. $5 a month and I'll sub. Anything more is not worth it.
Watch the point at 6-2 in the final game. Watch Asal’s movement. After each backhand shot he stands up straight and actually pulls his arms in to allow Farag space to move to the ball. Compare that to what he used to do, leaving legs and arms sticking out. It’s amazing what he has done with Willstrop’s guidance.
I didn’t get the impression he was doing the bad movement deliberately, but was a bad habit that took some time to correct. Should have been corrected before he became pro. Nice to see the improved movement. If he keeps his head right, he’ll be very tough. Willstrop was excellent at that.
Asal is an evolved player now. . has altered his game and temperament ..he can be the best in the world for a long time
What are you??? Dr. Microscopic only against Asal ?? 😂😂😂😂
@@mellowmonsoon278 umm... my comment was *for* Asal. He's cleaned up a lot, and playing great.
Asal has realised the secret to beating Farag is to insist Farag leaves the court before Asal ,at the end of each game. Never ever let Farag open the door and wave you through first.
Haha exactly correct. I was thinking the same thing
Asal won the 2024 Black Ball Open Final vs Farag 13-11, 11-5, 7-11, 11-8 (3-1) in the previous season. In this season in the 2024 Egyptian Open Final he's won 11-3, 13-11, 5-11, 11-8 (3-1).
On both occasions it looks important for him to get the first two consecutive games under his belt. He seems to either gas out or tune out in the third game. He then seems to physically recuperate and turn up in the fourth game to pressurise and mount an offence against Farag to get to the Finish line.
Thats a crude limited description perhaps. Im sure there's more to it than that if you watch the full match.
Asal's body language seemed more assured and more composed in this highlights video compared to last season playing against Farag.
Im glad he has physically recovered from his pull out from the World Tour Final last season. Its good too see that he is healthy, fresh and strong at the start of this season.
I hope Mohamed Elshorbagy, Tarek Momen and Gregoire Marche will be alright and are able to recover well from the issues that caused them to pull out of this tournament.
Ali Farag has come out strong at the start of the season which is good to see. Everyone is always looking forward to see who will put up a great challenge for him these days as he is really tough to play against and seems almost impossible to win against.
It will be interesting to see Farag and Asal competing this season among so many other possible match ups.
Hopefully PSA Squash uploads the the full match video for this match so we get to see the whole thing.
Well played Mostafa, a good win.
Farag did not look like himself
I think you only play as good as your opponent allows you to play.
Asal was phenomenal though
@@bzijpwise 👍🏽
There's something very satisfying seeing Asal win tournaments in an era where the only other players who can actually challenge him just feather it about everywhere with lobs and slow drives. Coll/Farag/Elias generally playing slow/soft shots and then Asal coming in and disrupting their play with power and precission is lovely. Makes it even more sweeter reading all the comments crying that he's winning :D
100% agree.
I thought they were being strict on keeping the serves legal. Clearly not.
What are you whining about ?
Yeah, still huge foot faults 😠
Hate him or not, the guy is a beast
I just realised that this is the only match of Asal which was uploaded on TH-cam in this 2024 Egyptian Open. Something doesn't add up about that? I wonder if we are missing anything here.
Huge controversial match between asal and mo shorbagy, ugly ugly scenes, that’s why.
Asal has come a long way since all his funny business, no one can do this to farag he is going to be unstoppable soon
Asal is a great player but there’s something about him that makes him anot very likable guy.
Crushing final shot
Funny how the constant hand raising by Asal isn't recognised as trying to influence the referee, but Dessouky's match was a conduct game for much less 😂.
Great consistency there!
Nevertheless, such great play from Asal.
😂😂😂
The king is dead, long live the king! :))
What a fucking finish son!
great match
Scary thing is it doesn’t look like he is trying working hard to beat Ali anymore.
Asal gaining ngl.
What an amazing match!

Five minutes is too long. Cut the highlights in half again. Or maybe just show match point?
I love people who comment passive aggressive complaints under free content
You can also not see
Rather go google to see results then
If you actually see how PSA have cut down the quality and quantity of highlighted matches over the years you'd understand his comment. If there was no content to begin with it would make more sense not to complain @@captainzork6109
5 mins for a tournament final really are times that tough for psatv.

say what you want, as long as asal maintains this level of sportsmanship, he is the most enjoyable player on the tour to watch! his energy, aggression and movement (for his size and height) are fantastic.

Strenght VS Intelligence…a mix of these 2 would be undefeatable.
Squash and tenis will be the most important raquet sports in 10 years
Asals game has intelligence. Farag has strength. Squash is (sadly) on its way out and will not rise in import over 10 years.. what a stupid comment
Not true! Both are strong and intelligent. They choose to more agressive or defensive based on works better for them.

This 🤡 raising his hand constantly shouldn't be tolerated by refs. Does this arm raising not fall under the new directive for refs to penalise players trying to influence the decision of a ref?
Always something to complain about it seems
What?? Hand raised??? Noooo, absolutely legal, amd even the correct thing to do. What you shouldnt do under any circumstamce is TALK to the referee. I see conduxt games given, boy
@@ivanweissbein5253 penalties have been issued for hand raising so no
Its really annoying! He questions EVERY SINGLE BALL. C'mon! It's bad for him, cause the ref will simply ignore when a double bounce really happened.
Always something to complain about. Generally speaking all the players do this Ali Farag included. It seems when it's Asal or Fares Dessouky then they try to make an example of them. I have heard many of the top players speak to the ref, even tapping the glass and nothing said. Need to be impartial in sports, which I guess is an oxymoron.

Great match Asal ,a deserved win 👏👏👏👏

Are you calling for help or something ? 🤔
He's such a skilled player, it's a shame Asal is so hard to watch without cringing
What exactly about him crinjed you in this game ?
@@mellowmonsoon278 his constant appealing to the officials. He cannot just play the game without arguing.
Asal’s knees wont last 2 more seasons
They will last at least a decade
I think this was a fluke. Farag seemed as if he was playing with no energy. Giving up on so many shots that he normally would have no problem returning. Like he is recovering from a flu and has no reserve.
Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
Asal was fairly clean this match, but I still cannot support him; I think the only reason he stopped cheating was because it was no longer beneficial for him, it wasn't about being fair, it was about winning
You are 100% correct. It was nothing to do with wanting to play fairly
He's grown up a lot last few months. I used to despise him and avoided watching any of his matches, but now and with Wilstrop as his coach, he is realising he can win matches without resorting to cheating.
@@nickisacebeans No, he's realising that not cheating is better than cheating because of how famous it is and the abundance of conduct strokes. if he could cheat still and get away with it, he would! But he cant risk another ban
that's how it is in sports - it's all about winning, if you think otherwise (in cases of Farag or someone else) you're misguided - everyone tries to win, just using different tools
@@grademployment You ok with cheating yeah? Let's get guys taking clenbuterol then
He’s just so unlikeable
Why ?
stop crying
Agreed, he needs to work on his personality 😕
@@3JP what particularly in this match makes you say that ?
LOL As far as Asal, some people don’t like him for his immaturity. Now that he’s gotten better, some people can’t forgive him for his past.
yawn
Asal is a deplorable personality. Demotivates me play squash!
don't play then if this demotivates you
Just quit
Hahahahahaha
