Reliving one of our fondest Wii U memories while playing a new standalone game that is included on the Switch is totally worthy it, especially getting the Target-exclusive aluminum bottle as a free gift.
Bowser's Fury is over 6 hours long to complete. That's not bad. Small world? Na, this is why no one can take Mojo Plays seriously when it comes to reviews. The world is huge, but I do wish it had been longer. Also, they added a lot of improvements to 3D World. Did you even play it? This is why people don't trust western video game media. If it takes you 6 hours to beat Bowser's Fury, then cool - go at your own pace. But it took me 2.5 hours to finish the campaign and, as I said in the video, I nabbed most of the Cat Shines already.
@@ZeppelinNL so everybody loves people that only likes games and dont criticise them? Or maybe you like gamespot reviewers that dont even play the games...

I loved this game since it was one of the first games I played when I purchased my wii u. It’s a great to revisit this adventure on switch. I just wished the online multiplayer wasn’t limited to friends only. As for bowser’s fury, the cat shines remind me of the power moons from odyssey. It’s short but purr-fectly sweet 🐱 Money well spent!
I can't agree with the rolling hills and platforms that change when you jump comment, this is a mario game, a long running series that builds on itself. It's like saying, "oh here's another assassins creed game where i climb up another high peak to scan the area and plummet safely into a bale of hay... I'm really getting bored of that cycle (which don't get me started on assassin creed games and repetition, I love the series, but i do grow tired faster and faster with every ensuing sequel)." When you buy a mario game you can't really be surprised that mario is going to be running jumping over hills and on platforms.
I wanted Super Mario 3D World as I didn't have Wii-U. I loved 3D Land, so I'm looking forward to getting started on this one. I finished BF portion last weekend with all 100 cat shines. It probably took me 9-10hours. Anyway, I'm happy with this purchase overall so far - unless 3D World ends up being really terrible which I doubt it is. Honestly, as I get older I have more appreciation for shorter games as I can't commit nor keep my attention to those that are 50-100+ hours.
Wow! The Self-entitlement is strong with this one🤦🏻♂️ we was even lucky to have Mario 3D collection let alone Bowser’s Fury. We already had Super Mario Odyssey. IMO, these two games was a bonus to the Mario 35th anniversary, TBH Nintendo didn’t have to release a Damn thing.

Game is from 2013, but as you said most people didnt play it, including yourself! Game is worth it, especially with online play now, and enjoyed Bowser's Fury! Great party game imo, and if you want buy it at Walmart as they sell all their games $10 less, so it will be $50.
Yeah, this guy is clueless. He keeps saying its a game from 2013 but no one played it as it was on the Wii U. 3D World is so fun, especially when playing with friends. It is also very long and has a lot of unique stages and mechanics, which I'm guessing the reviewer didn't see because he only played for maybe an hour. Even though I played it on the Wii U, I still gladly paid the 60 bucks to enjoy this great game again. Bowser's Fury is a nice cherry on top and we can only hope that they continue with that kind of gameplay in the next Mario game
So......because no one played it on Wii U, that means it never came out in 2013? And therefore, that makes me clueless? I'm sorry, but I don't see the logic in this criticism. If you watched the video, you'll notice that there's a wide assortment of levels being shown, many of which are not accessible until a handful of hours into the game.
@@spectrebull you missed the point. This game, while old, is new to most people that will be playing it on their Switch. And while that doesn’t sound like a good thing, when you look at what both of these games have to offer, you can see why they would be worth the $60 to someone that hasn’t had the experience of these games.
My only complaints about this game are how Luigi, Peach, Toad, and Rosalina are not playable in Bowser's Fury, and how there are no new characters like Yoshi or Daisy (with Bowser Jr as an exception) but other than that, I actually loved revisiting this game and I can't wait to see what other Mario Games they will make in The Future. 🐱🔔
Even though this my all-time favorite Mario game, it isn't worth $60 ( a measly $50 or less). Any port from Nintendo will be thrown a $60 price tag no matter how little or big content is. Greedy companies know people will buy it anyway and defend them.
At this point the entire Mojo thing on youtube is becoming another gaming journalist I'm slowly disliking when they review one my favorite games and say they aren't that good. Also no one is talking about how Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze gets a easier mode and New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe only gets a new character and they're $60. @RGT85 is right everyone is oblivious.
The whole game should’ve just been Bowser’s Fury. Sure, it’s nice to be able to play Super Mario 3D World on a console that isn’t the Wii U, but going back to this game after playing Super Mario Odyssey is a bit jarring in 2021.
My criticism should say how insanely short Bowser's Fury is. I finished the campaign in under 2.5 hours and, again, with most of the Cat Shines nabbed.
@@Chaos89P Admittedly, there are a few Shines that are a tad tricky to get, but even then, Bowser's Fury isn't exactly challenging. Still, fun to play, even if it is shorter than I had hoped.
Here is my dilemma, I have this game on my wii u, and I don't want to pay 60 dollars for a dlc. I would only buy this game if it went on sale in the future. I have the funds but then again 3-4 hour dlc for 60 dollars.
Sounds like I won’t be getting the switch anytime soon. Still don’t have it yet but I’m expecting huge things for the Zelda 35th anniversary! I really do!
Disappointing review. First the reviewer is saying practically no-one played the original and later he criticizes the game because it's from 2013. If no-one played it who cares... Also the criticism that gameplay mechanics are repeated from previous games is a joke. Sure, gameplay mechanics are repeated, but that doesn't mean the levels themselves can't be original.
