Amazing build! The most powerful vs size ratio pc build yet. Video production and editing is pretty neat!
This looks great. I’ve been looking for a small pc build to have in my living room when I feel like playing games on the big screen. Great content, appreciate the inspiration
I would love to watch any kind of build you have in mind. I love this "compact" builds, open my mind to something new beside the usual PC's builds we already know
Incredible build! Loved the size!
What an amazing a unique build, keep bringing more these, very different from traditional builds
I hope GPU makers revert from whose card is bigger to whose card is smaller.
It's really hard to do that "more power more heat generate"
The existence of a xx60 class low-profile GPU has been pretty much THE DREAM for me for a while now. I'm totally snapping one up to make a lan rig out of it.
The irony of what you said though, is my main battlestation which utilizes the Sapphire Nitro RX 7900XTX, the thing is ridiculously huge. But it fits EXACTLY in the CoolerMaster NR200P. 😂
I'd like to see super big cards and super small ones. No need for mid sized 😆
I have one old top tier gpu that weighs an absolute brick, and one new high end card that looks like it weighs a brick... The GTX 480 and 7900 XT.
Nah
I love this build. I might even recreate this same thing just to play. Thank you for sharing.
Devyn, I stumbled across your channel and glad I did. I love the small builds you’re showing! I’m a full time RVer and really don’t have room for a full size PC for the gaming I do. These smaller builds are awesome, and you do a super good job showing and explaining your builds. Thank you for that! What would really help, is giving us some idea of the cost of the build at the time of filming. I’ve used the provided links and figured it out, but giving viewers an up front estimated cost would save a little time to watch more of your videos! Just say’n! Great job, Sir! 😎👍🏼
250w for this CPU & GPU hmmm ? how and why so low ?
That “slightly recessed” button is actually pretty slick!
Where would someone get one of those smaller power buttons? Did it come with the case?
This is the kind of thing I’m looking to do. I’ve got an R5 8600G right now, in a knock-off A01 case, but I’d like slightly bigger to have a dedicated gpu. My 3080Ti is too big for any of these attempts, so I need something much more low profile (I’m a trucker and trying to get the smallest system I can get without resorting to a potato).
It's very satisfying how every parts fits perfectly and fully uses the space available. True meaning of SFF. Very curious how these extremely small Plex psu performs tho!
I've seen reviews of that psu and it seems like it's remarkably high quality for being such a niche product. I'm super thankful they didn't skimp on stuff, but I've yet to see any mainstream reviewers like hardware busters get to it so I can't be fully sure.
There is some satisfaction in seeing that all the parts fit together neatly. Great find!
That’s why I prefer going ITX with my builds. There’s something just so satisfying to getting everything together well like this.
Absolutely loving these sff builds
This is more like a htpc
What is sff
@@ilgarisnotme5001 small form factor.

Glorious build! I followed the channel after the B760-I NZXT H1 build (I have one myself that I just built earlier this month); but I have to make another mini-ITX build for a Xmas present, so this could work out perfectly! Much thanks for the insight and help.
Production quality is insane as always! I love this case and build overall, it's perfect for a small setup or even bringing to LAN events.
if Dave2D and optimum had a baby
Great build - I like this build and the components.
Gotta say man Great quality
Your part selection is what impresses me the most.....Whole aesthetic is just another vibe
Excellent video and definitely gives me a similar style to Optimum Tech. Keep up the great quality content and killer build!
Great video! I really enjoyed the build!
Nice little build. This is a true throw it in the backpack gaming PC. I always wanted to do a build like this in a Lone Industries L5, too bad they no longer make the case.
Perfect for LAN parties!
This is super cool, ETA prime did one of these a few days ago, and I thought that looked clean. This took it to the next level with the case design.
And an entirely different psu
Diff mobo and cpu too...
I wonder which version is cheaper
ETA prime almost always goes with the absolute most budget versions when it comes to cases.
as a itx / sff builder since sandy bridge / ivybridge intel cpus none of his case selections for "sff" has ever really made me interested.
i dont watch any of his content anymore... to me he has zero engagement with his community and will milk the same product with a slightly different video multiple times over the course of the month.
ETA's build is LZmod A24-V5, which smaller at 5L even
Another wonderful build, and excellent production quality. So, well done, again, as always! I actually have this exact same case, still in it's box unfortunately. I also have the same power supply and cooler. I've been planning a similar build to yours, but I've been too busy to get it done. So, you beat me to it! I was planning to use the RTX A2000 GPU though. It would have been good if you could have included power consumption numbers, worst case under load. The power supply limit of 250W is quite limited, but it's probably OK since your chosen CPU has is very efficient. That was my main reason for thinking about using an RTX A2000, as it's TPU is only 70W. My main aim is to built a PC that will be used mainly for work with the ability for occasional gaming, so I wanted to focus the available power to the CPU. I really like this PSU, as it is extremely small and yet it has passive cooling and is therefore silent in operation. Compared to, say a flex ATX PSU that is also small but relatively noisy. My only other comment I have is about the power button. The fact that the smaller power button isn't flush with the case is a bit of a bummer. I was wondering if it would help if you added a spacer (like a plastic washer or something similar) between the smaller power button and the plastic adaptor that you have taped to the case. That might help to raise the power button so that is becomes flush with the case. If that works, it would be a big improvement IMO. It might be just me, but I'm a bit OCD when it comes to things like that lol. Great job though, love your work!
So much power in a small package. Very nice.
I loved this build, keep doing things like that.
Great video, appreciate the effort bro.
Extremely satisfying build, more like this please ❤
I've only discovered your channel today but man already hooked with this compact PCS, I don't need it, but I want this!
You found the right pieces, so cool!
Wow great build! Keep up with the good vids. Yes, I agree that more businesses should make LP graphics cards. It's encouraging to see a growing variety of ITX cases available in the market now as compared to just 3 years ago.
Beautiful build, and really enjoyed the flow of this video. I'm honestly surprised 250w was enough for that setup. Good to know!
That’s crazy to me considering they usually recommend 550 for this gpu.
Very nice build! I would like to another build like this. I'm considering a build like this because of the compact size.
FINALLY a creator that weights the completed ITX build. Thank you!
Absolutely loving these sff build
Pretty sure this is the pc I'm going to build. Thanks a ton. Your pc builds are art.
Love these builds ❤❤ Keep em' coming 😁
Wow, this is one nice small form factor pc build, I like it. Good job
These SFF builds are why I'm starting to watch more of your videos... I feel like just about anyone can do a build in a large case .... The more advanced PC builders build SFF.
I'm so glad this made this GPU. Thanks for showing off a cool build.
You are brilliant! Deserve more subscribers ngl.
That's actually a really nice SFF case and nothing seems to be jammed in, which is usually the situation with cables in larger cases.
All up, pretty nice.
I looked into the using the iPad as a monitor, but the iPad needs to support USB-C plus a particular IOS version, so older iPads with lighting ports aren't able to be used.
I love small builds. This one is just perfect 😍
Love this build! Just the type of case I want to build with my 4000 ADA SFF. It's currently in an HP 800 G4 SFF.
This is literally my dream SFF build. Probably for TV couch gaming, even 16gb of RAM it is enough. Thanks for showing us it is possible.
Really like this build! 👍
Good build and just wonderful to see the 4060 in such a small factor.
I was in favor of the card since day 1 as the power consumption to performance ratio is just fantastic for 2023. The price should be lower, but otherwise awesome card.
I don't remember seeing another motherboard with a storage slot in the back, although I can't say absolutely not. Interesting idea though as you said, you better populated it the first time lol.
If I had money and if this case was in a bright color, orange, yellow, red, blue, chrome, something other than black or dark grey or something, I would definitely do it too.
Thanks for sharing.
Bravo 👏 Love this build! Love the size and the low noise levels. Had you based it on an Intel chip, I would have gone out and followed your tutorial step by step. (I have 0 experience building a PC from scratch so I will need a perfect step by step tutorial - and I want a Nvidia + Intel combo). Thank you for an awesome video.
Awesome build! 👏
love seeing videos like this
I'm more curious about that power supply. How do you combine two to create a power supply equivalent to double it? Definitely sounds like a great video to discuss.
Love the mini builds. I know its cramped and all, but would love the cases to show the internals.
I've been thinking about getting one for my homelab for transcoding and pci passthrough. Sff LP cards are so hard to come by. So even the crappy 4060 looks much better just having an LP option. Plus the efficiency shines in this area.
I’m in love with this build. The only thing is I wish it came in other colors. Maybe white or red.
Well u can repaint it v:
The HT5 (the case) has 4 different finishes including some wood versions
Loving this build
Great video! A very interesting case and I also looking to build something similar as well. Do you plan to make a round up videos of similar cases that use 1u flex psu and are less than (or about) 6L? It may be interesting. Thanks for the wonderful work!
Beautiful build. I am considering something similar but with a 7900.
im really loving the new 4060. as older I get.. I really love the small build.. tbh, I hope there will be a slim case for matx build..
I am currently working on a sub 4L with a 12700k and Noctua L12S ghost edition, otherwise the same build. I decided to work on putting the PSU on the front panel of the case I am working on as this build blocks a lot of airflow by putting the PSU at the top. Great build
Thats pretty cool. I can see this being great for a kid in a dorm room where space is an issue and he/she could basically hide the pc somewhere its so small.
As someone who is always fascinated by modifying or customizing SFF builds, anything that falls into the category of sub-13L is ideal.
I wish I knew this before I bought my laptop. this is what I always dreamed of - a powerful gaming pc with the size of a mac mini.
I LOVE THIS SFF build. I'm thinking of building one but Only thing I really want is efficient power and great cooling since it's a SFF. Waiting on cyber Monday before I elect anything crazy hahaha.
Beautifull video, nice shooting 👏
What a sick little case. Would be perfect for a high end strix halo apu build when those come out next year. Rumoured to have up to RTX4070 performance!
Love this build
Great build Devyn!
Do you by chance also have a link for the smaller lower button you used?
Thank you in advance!
way cool. I'm pricing out the parts now.
Yes yes that's what I wanted to see sff cases due to what the future holds for us is tech size shrinking.😊
Could you show the total price at the end of every build? That way it's easy to gauge.
This machine would likely run 1200 to 1300 USD at current pricing.
That build, like the guy above said, like 1200 bucks. But you can do a very similar performing build with a 12100, z690itx-ac, ddr4 and a dc-dc psu for $800 if you’re just after the gaming performance
ive built a few full sized atx computers, but im fascinated by these sff builds. but cant justify doing one for my main pc
It's a shame here in Brazil we don't have access to things like this, because I would definitely make something like this, it's a really amazing build, I keep thinking if I had something like this I would constantly be going to the living room and playing with my sister and Mom, carrying a mid-tower is not practical hahahah
Amazing job. Perfect pc for my needs. The only issue is I dont want to downgrade from fullsized 3070
Amazing production and I love the video, the only thing I don't understand is putting ssd in front while you mentioned yourself back is harder to get. So when someone will want to upgrade and they most likely will they will have hard time and bad experience because of this decision. (I hate to have one ssd for all, minimum 1 for OS only and 2nd for everything else and found a lot of people that do same).
hope in few years all PCs would look like this one. And it would be great if other brands start manufacturing this cute little gpus
no, sff builds are unreliable for long term gaming/ heavy use, i believe this ryzen also runs at eco/ 65w mode
but cool nonetheless, great solution for office/ mobile workers i guess
I wish they'd have extended the IO panel to cover the rear conntections. At 8:42 you can see what I'm talking about, the PCI bracket is just sticking out.
Really what's gained by doing it this way other than being able to boast a smaller internal volume? The effective external dimensions are the same, and arguably larger since if you were transporting the PC the bracket could snag.
Really love the use of HDplex's power supply, overall a really interesting case. 95% there IMO.
OMG this is so amazing, I didn't know PC can be so tiny
Nice mini air-cooled build, no dumb watercooling. 😁😁
contemplating building something like this when its time for a new gaming laptop. i have a 7800x3d in my main system currently that i would like to use in a portable build when i upgrade my cpu next
I also put the 4060 LP with i5-12600k into a 4.3L ZS-A4DC v3, a sandwich design case. Enough cooling for my set but the PSU will receive half of the heat from the 4060 and the case was hard to build. This 5.3L case was not as small as the A4DC but the layout is much more user-friendly and can use a larger CPU cooler.
This is hands down my favorite build. I just wish amd would make a 7600 low profile. Could make the perfect steam box with it.
Thank you for your video! Really nice build. Do I understand correctly that the genki adapter allows you to use the ipad as a primary display for a PC?
That's a clean build
Damn, this looks like some optimum tech like production quality
Great work!! Is there a case with similar layout that is actually available to buy?
A little monster in the snuff box 🙂 Awesome!
this thing is amazing dudeeee
Precisamos de um benchmark e as configurações que você usou pra manter uma temperatura estável, por favor.
100% do more tiny SFF builds.
I am building a Meshroom S end of the year, but these videos are super interesting. IF I can get a 4090 + i9 14900KF and 128GB into a 5L case I would take it instantly. more ITX to the people
Hey!
Would the 500W GaN AIO ATX still allow enough clearance for the NH-L12S used in this build? It looks pretty tight with the 250W one, already.
This is the layout I comeback to after dealing with multiple failed pcie riser cable. Because most itx cases commonly use the sandwich layout, there isn't much option for something like this. I'm considering to build another pc with my old ryzen 5 3600 after upgrading to 5800x3d but just don't want to deal with pcie riser cable anymore.
Thank you for putting this together. And I would be eager to have an even smaller build if possible… are there any smaller mobo one can find?
I have a tiny (foldable!) desk and I’m looking around for something I can stack on top of my work Mac mini, or slight bigger and stack the Mac on top.
I was very close to get one of those Minisforums machines but after seeing that for that price you can build a 1080p destroyer, I feel I can’t justify the expense of a mini PC.
Atm I feel the Fractal Ridge would be the best case, is not that compact in footprint, but I’m thinking could maybe slide under the display or somehow attach under the desk.
I want something small also to easily move it and attach to the TV. I’d get a new laptop but feel the expense is too much comparatively
Well shoot, I guess I was a couple weeks late to check this case out. Today Lazer3D put a pause on orders 'til the end of the year, so I guess I'm stuck looking for the next best thing.
I m addicted to this channel
I use a much larger case, although still small, but I only look on TH-cam about such ultra-compact and unusual assemblies.
im all here for this, i just wish SFF build like this were more accessible as this would literally be my dream pc
I ended up building a very similar build and I want to point out that the power supply is insufficient. This system at peak can pull 280 watts, and with power supply used in the video, you'll run into stability issues (ie my system would eventually crash during gaming). To solve this, I ended buying the HDPLEX 500W HiFi DC-ATX, and the system now runs perfectly. The major obvious downside is that the HDPLEX 500W HiFi DC-ATX requires an external power brick, so it adds overall computer bulk, but its still an awesome build.
Hi, did you used the same hardware as in the video? Did the 500w fit in the same case? Thank you
Yes definitely, more sff/itx/low profile builds please. How much is the total cost of this?
Awesome stuff again...Just curious why your put a 970 evo plus in the front slot when it's pcie 5.0. Do the 5.0's run too hot for a build like this?
great video - i notice in yours as well as mine, the m.2 after installed is bent making a smiling face as in the middle is lower than the two outer L/R sides - is this typical for this board? i find it odd that it's this way.
Pretty cool. It'll last about 3-4 years with the heat.
This is really cool.
