Always loved the Rovers, 10 out of 10 for even attempting to tackle the job. Remarkable work, well done.

Thank you. That was an amazing job that you did and I learned a lot. Thank you also for the follow up! So many times you see the initial completed job and you wonder about how it holds up to use over time and now I know. Great job.

Where can I get these products from? What is the website address? restoring a 47 years old caddy. Seats are JUST like yours.

Looking to do something similar on my p6 rover in the near future.
As this video is 3 years old how are the seats holding up?

awesome repair! great followup too, especially on your large patch there. What products did you use? Were you happy with them? I thought leather binder should be similar to adhesion promoter no? I have never heard of anyone using plastic adhesion promoter on leather. Were you concerned about the leather being able to breath after all these coats?

@@thomasshankings4557 Congratulations.. you wasted your time--- its tore again... lol..... Just saying, sometimes its rotted and is just gonna tear again, right next to your repair... You're literally flopping your body weight on the shit. Its not a curtain that's hanging on the window that never gets touched.

Yup, I agree. I've been working on old cars for decades, so I speak from experience. Leather that has creases and minor cracks can be rejuvenated, but leather that has tears or rot can not be repaired with any kind of miracle repair goo. Sometimes the only option is to reupholster.
