Alvvays,Day Wave,The Drums (1st album), and The Drowners 1st album are always on our families traveling playlist. Everyone in my family from my wife,25 yr old daughter,20 year old son, and 17 yr old daughter likes all those bands . I am a 42 yr old father who plays punk music with his son but grew up listening to 80's new wave, 50's Oldies but goodies, gospel music , and punk so this "dream pop" i guess is what the kids call it haha fits right in with my style.
At 54 years old, it seems that i'm leaving rock behind (for the most part), and getting into all kinds of stuff. This is one of the bands I'm so glad that i stumbled on. It's just so pleasing to the ears, and it makes me feel good.
I love the whole Scooby Doo gang vibe of this band but in particular I'm head over heels for the keyboard player! So grateful to have seen them in Glasgow at the much-missed ABC Sauchihall Street venue what a show!

listening to them makes me forget all the shitty moments i've been through even if i'm already in a tough time rn. wish i could see her in a live concert and take a photo with her but it's kinda impossible to come here :(
First time I've heard this band and I really like them....The singer reminds me a bit of Aimee Mann/Till Tuesday. I"m guessing that comparison must have already been made by someone... Good stuff.

the east coast influence is so awesomely present here...this song would not be out of place on an old record by sloan/jale/eric's trip/etc...with a healthy does of the smiths.
