@@andrew30m if they didn't pay below minimum wage and there we're not gangs paying low wages then I would pick fruit. As it stands I can't work for less than minimum wage as it wouldn't cover the bills. Many migrant workers live in shared rooms/houses and take much of their money back home with them to benefit from the different exchange rate. The situation is not really good for the migrants as they are away from home and not good for British as cheap labour drives down wages. Its emperialiam, potentially slavery.

As an American I have no pony in this race, however it should be noted anyone who said "leave the EU and everything will be better day one" was selling a load of lies. The economic reality of any major change to trade agreements is there will be a market adjustment which will result in negative side effects. Whether the costs of the first few years it will take to readjust economy are worth it can only be assessed after probably more than a decade, and even then there will probably be economists on both sides of the issue. The real indicator of whether this was a good move will likely not be economic but rather political as the EU goes forward making policy for itself which may be repugnant to the UK.

It was indeed sold. Several years prior to the referendum, much of the public didn't give much thought to the EU. Brexit came to the decision of a handful of Tory backbenchers in 2014 before unleashing a campaign of manipulation in order to trick the public into voting for it. Let me see what are the benefits of Brexit:
    1. Less workers from the EU and more from Pakistan, Afghanistan, Syria, China and Russia because someone needs to fill in the void left by European workers (There is no way that Britts want to do all the work that foreign workers did in the UK).
    2. Less trade equalls less profits and less taxes coming to the UK’s budget. Well, less money to spend on NHS, public education and infrastructure
    3. A halt to free movement of Britts to the other countries and less chances for future generations to prosper, live and educate themselves in the EU countries.
    4. Shortages of food and meds that only Britts have (No one in any other European country has seen them so far, Pandemy or not) plus internet speed that is a total rubish but costs more than 5G in France. It’s not true that as the island you can’t have fast internet, look at Iceland. They have one of the fastest in the world.
    5. Negotiating the prices of energy and gas you are on your own. Negotiating any kind of agreement, you are on your own. It means less negotiation power and less profitable deals for the citizens of UK.
I see all the good sides of Brexit indeed. You have been lied to by your politicians who wanted to hide their incompetence and put the blame on EU. They are the problem, not the EU. You were never less sovereign than now.

Most people are only looking at the economic aspect of leaving the EU, I think there will be far more dire consequences further down the line. In the 20th century Russia was a black hole, absorbing satellite states, with Europe being a backyard ripe for internal and external expansionism, but now the tables have turned and it's Europe which is gaining momentum and offers an attractive economic and political model, and I don't see that slowing anytime soon. We need to be flexible enough to admit we made a mistake or we will be left out in the cold.

After Brexit, the UK is less restricted by some EU regulations. It is argued that a positive result of Brexit has been an ability to trade more freely with non-EU markets - for example, the US and Australia. The UK is working to put in place new trade agreements with many non-EU countries around the world.

Everyone has a different experience but since Brexit - Less EU workers and temps have lengthened contracts and increased wages of the low paid. My company bought foam from Italy - because of red tape it now buys foam from a UK manufacturer 2 miles away - and it is better, cheaper and faster. This prompted a review of a suppliers - we now moved to many UK suppliers. This must be a good thing. I heard once that we export almost exactly as much milk as we import. Crazy. We should all be looking to support our local people and business - for our economy and our environment. I am even choosing UK food and drink when I shop - for the same reasons. The personal decisions we all make at work and at home are very important for of future.

What you're not going to hear is that world food production went down 14% in 2020, and is expected to go down again this year. The U.N. has said that some countries will have rationing within 15-20 years, all because of the climate crisis. And the UK gets over 60% of its food through imports.

no you wonder why the whole Word of God Foretells the Coming of Christ, our Savior - Why is the Whole Word of God Based on Christ and Trusting Him. out of faith we are saved - it must be real faith, from the heart and not by force. your decision which path you choose. I would recommend taking a look at what is happening in the world - everything is Described in the Word of God. you think the rulers of this world who are subject to and work for evil - they don't know about it? They rely on the Holy Bible and even hide the truth and manipulate people to play their game. You dont see everywhere signs based on s4t4nism, occ4ltism, ideologies related to s4tan, idolatry, magic, all sin - the only thing that can happen to us is a repetition of what has already Happened in God's Word, nothing new. satan does everything to deceive whoever he can, he has nothing to lose, he gives 100% of himself - he knows where he is going and hell awaits him. He hates us and wants to take us with him, to distract us from God. This world is a vanity that it uses to manipulate us.
The only thing that prevents him from gaining control over us is that we Belong to God all the time - the path we choose depends on our free will and decision. Only Jesus Is without sin - we will be sinful - but we have God's Word and God-given Promises :
if we truly trust God, we hope in Christ - we believe with our hearts that Christ, the Son of God, Was Sacrificed for our sins so that we would be saved. We are saved not by works but by faith. We arent able to do anything by ourselves, we shouldnt base our hopes on institutions, the church, people - they can also lie - the Whole Truth Is Contained in The Holy Bible. Matthew 6 24-34. God Is Almighty, will man accomplish what God Has Done, is man in general right to be equal with God? Remember, the time of grace is running out and Biblical Oppression will soon begin. God Bless you in The Name of Jesus Christ, Amen i m not a pastor, I m an ordinary person who trusts God through Jesus Christ - nothing else

i m not a pastor, I m an ordinary person who trusts God through Jesus Christ - nothing else. The Biblical Faith does not need a church, and it is the Vatican and other religions that are only the key to what is happening in the world. And this is clearly visible. As you can see, the Vatican supports, they are waiting for their antichrist who is mentioned in Revelation. The Whole Truth is contained in the Holy Bible. May God Bless you in the Name of Jesus Christ

Brits are too proud to go back to the EU.
    Therefore, this could get bad
    They were duped during referendum.
    "Take back control"
Co-operation is everything in modern world.
The tone and attitude of that referendum was anti- co-operative to other countries
Tory brexiteers most likely had their own agenda going on
I wouldn't rule out Russian meddling being enough to win vote for leave campaign
    To de-stabilize the UK economy
The Tories didn't take potential of Russian meddling seriously
    Think about this logically:
How come Trumpism, Brexit and Le Penne coincided?
Rise of far right at the same time?
Or PERHAPS an evil dictator with years of experience controlling millions of human beings decided to try some techniques on major western countries he considers hostile?
