I think this happens because the game only expects you to use camera mode inside a level, where the hand cursor actually comes into play. Because your in the hub world, the game got confused and doesn't know what to do with the hand cursor in this instance.

This happened to me when I was just normally playing through the game, and I immediately went to the internet to see if it happened to anyone else, glad I found this video!
Oddly enough, i'm suprised how an easy early glitch found was never patched...
Photo Mode wasn't tested by Nintendo properly. 🤔
big thx for documenting glitches like this tho, the game only just came out, so any glitches getting patched near release usually don't get much documentation and I can always appreciate some kinda archival documentation for funny glitches (:

yep. visual glitches
i found out that in bowser's fury u can make dorrie sink into the water with a glitch i found actually 3 with the dorrie. there are glitchy spots that cause dorrie to do glitchy stuff like studder or just shake. for the dorrie sinking bug you move dorrie up to a wall while pushing y and dismount dorrie... tho its sad to see dorrie sink.. the glitch works on walls that make dorrie glitch out

cat momentum works aswell as the ice momentum glitch too
and the other glitches do
But i dont think the glitch where u can jump on top of the pipe in world 8 works anymore tho
Is ice momentum the one where you mash crouch? I couldn't get that to work.
