Wow - I remember watching this segment a year ago around the same time as now and at the end when Nicole started praying I raised my hand and re-committed my choice, my will, my type of husband to the Lord and gave him the upper hand for my future relationship. I started to be consistent in my prayer for a husband and a few weeks later I met my husband and soon after that we started dating, I am so blessed to say that we are now engaged to be married and I do not know why but today I revisited this video and I am so overwhelmed by God's grace (that after watching and praying - a year later I would have found my life partner). Thank you to the ladies for sharing so much insight and revelation because we are seeing the fruits of it. May the Lord continue to use you mightily and return unto you a thousand-fold. Thank you!

I agree with you. I feel like the world is so messed up and everything is dangerous these days. You can't know who is who, people are always fake. We see fake christians all the time and settling for worldly guys is also a vanity and grasping for the wind. So my only care will be to fear God as long as I live and not worry about people.

I just got married for the first time at age 57. Been saved since I was 25, so have been praying most of my life. It should not have taken that long, but I”m very very grateful for this man. Of course, he has been married before. Was not sure if it would ever happen b/c I’ve waited so long. God has been faithful, but it was not the will of God that I waited so long, nor for any others that are waiting. It is the will of God for marriage.

I want a man that is 1-3 deeper relationship with God. Pursuing his presence. I don't want a man that i should drag to church or prayer or fast. In fact he should be the leader of the house in everything.
It sounds ideal but that's a tall order that's not very likely in this culture. Many men now weren't trained up in this way as boys for that degree of maturity. For some reason families and churches didn't prioritize it. A lot of women are going to be broken hearted if they're seeking that right off the bat. Growth is possible though. It could be a part of God's plan for her growth as well. Ending up with a man that grew up in church with wrong doctrines could bring worse problems than a less matured or new Christian.

When Abrahams servant went to find a wife for Isaac, he prayed that when he got to a well and met a woman who would offer him water and offer to give water to his camels too will be isaacs wife. Ask your families and communities to help you find a spouse as well. Relying on God alone to meet the right man isn't wrong but it often isnt very effective. The way people got married in the Bible was primarily through family intervention, not praying and waiting for something to happen. Marriage is an earthly institution and some earthly methods are necessary to make it happen in many cases.

Love this conversation. I will celebrate my 15 year anniversary this month. My husband was around all my life, even though I hadn't met him yet. He saw me with my father when I was a young girl, then I moved to another town as a teenager walking with my best friend and saw this man who had my attention on the other side of the street, walk way past him, I kept looking back. Years later he was around my sister's guy friends driving them to their destination as a favor. When we finally met and started dating, and married, he began to tell me of all the times he remembered meeting me, I said Really?:, He told my father's name & described his personality. He then told me about how he remember me as a teenager, I said what did I have on?(He said a purple shirt)and it was true(now I'm floored). He described my sister's friends and their names(all correct). God can connect you to your spouse Wherever you are, it just HAS to be the right timing and Maturity in Christ.

I’m 60 and have never been married. What I’ve learned is, there was some “stuff” God needed to get out of me “before” I got married. I’m soooo thankful God “made” me wait and that I listened to Him. During our season of waiting, there are things God wants us to do. Also, be prepared to “truly” trust God because the season “might” last longer than “you” think. But, trust that He know best and submit to Him first.
I met my husband online - through Eharmony. I clearly made it known about my firm Christian walk... he was also a committed Christian. We are now going into out 9th year of 💑. Seek first the Kingdom of God, know your boundaries, have biblical standards. God is able to bring you and a God-loving man together.

This was so good!!! Having videos like this encourages me. I am a 42 year old woman, empty-nester, celibate 9 years and raised my now Marine son as a single parent. The Lord has been faithful. I own my own home and have 100% been preserved. However, there’s been a shift and believe the Lord is preparing me for my husband. I’ve Never been married or even had a long-standing relationship. So it’s all very new. Thank you I was able to hear Holy Spirit clearly while I watched this.

I just heard this in my Spirit "God will do the picking, I will do the pursuing." Because I know I am a Bad picker. If I go by myself, I will pick a wife based only on superficial things. But with God, He will give me the discernment, Godly counsel and even how to pursue the girl I intend to marry. I am Hopeful and Eager to see this come to pass in my life. God is the best matchmaker and writes perfect loves stories.
I'm so glad they discussed "getting yourself out there". My rule is do not introduce people to something you cannot maintain. You need to find what getting yourself out there means to you personally. I've seen people force themselves into social settings that isn't for them just so they can meet someone.

I believe there is no one that is beyond God’s redemption. Thank you Nicole for this beautiful reminder of God as a redeemer. Most pastors wives do not think this way. They condemn, ostracize and gossip about you if you are divorced or have made a mistake in the past.
I'm 39 and still single, and thanking God. I am working on finding Gods purpose for my life, and in that fulfillment. For christians we have an assignment, a work to do on this earth. Let's get busy with our assignment ladies, and I believe if it's Gods will a husband may come, or may Not come, either way we are married to Christ first.

I am glad I watched this. When she prayed for the single people I cried because I thought I was the only person with those feelings. I desire to be married and at 51; still waiting but if GOD never gives me that type of love; I know he still loves me. It is hard not having a soul mate but I can’t be with the wrong person as I have in my past.

I am 34 and single, I have made damn mistakes of chasing men but now I am at a point in life where I have submitted my will to Gods will. I want what God wants for me and nothing less. 💯What a lot of people in the church don't tell you, is that first, not everyone wants to be married and that it's okay if you don't. Secondly, make sure you pursue your individual God-given purpose, and that the purpose aligns with your possible mate's purpose collectively for a more harmonious union as life brings many challenges. Third, the singles ministry is filled with a lot of couples and is not for everyone. Lastly, the church should acknowledge the breakdown of relationships within its walls from the pulpit to the congregation as often it glossed over with the same sayings of forgiving and pray but all the bandaids are peeling off generations of the same wounds with no real accountability and this is why so many are not there. 💯💯
God says BE fruitful, multiply and replenish the earth. Its a command. Unless for medical reasons or you are going on dangerous missionary service for the Lord in which having children will be an hinderance, if out of personal choice you decide not to, you are not fulfilling the productivity God wants us to do. The same with Paul, who goes from places to places and faces persecution alot on mission work. It is better to marry than to burn.

I loved hearing the testimonials of how each of you meet your future husband. I suffered from many disillusions about how the covenant of marriage works. The true purpose of marriage as well. I had made up in my mind a long time ago that marriage wasn't for me for various reasons. However, I know now that is not so. There is a mission that my future husband has. I have to continue to align myself up with God and seek his wisdom and instructions. There is a work for us to do together and not separate. I accept that now. It's not about me and what I want to do. It's about fulfilling the call God has already ordained for my life with him before I was brought forth to this earth. Now that my thoughts are in alignment with God's purpose for my life, I am believing that my future husband shall come forth from behind me. Right now, I am praying for his ministry. I am seeking God for Spiritual wisdom for the path that we must travel together to further advance the kingdom. I pray that our marriage would serve as a witness to God's power, sovereignty, His Greatness, His Love, His kindness to look beyond my many faultsbonly to see our needs. I desire for God to get the Glory out of this union. I pray that our union will show the world this is God's perfect way. I am no longer afraid of the unknown because of the One that I do know! I will no longer waver in my decision. I will no longer struggle with indecisiveness. I stand firm on the word of God. God has annointed me to speak glad tidings to the meek, to bind up the broken hearted, and to open up the prison doors to those who are bound. It's the anointing that breaks yokes. He has given me Godly wisdom to share to those who seek him. He has given my power and the authority to break chains off of his people. To teach the next generation to fight the good fight of faith. We must spread the word of God and the love of God in truth to all generations. That is why we were born. We were born to serve God in whatever capacity He has chosen. I have wasted a lot of time on things that were not fulfilling God's purpose. You only become a great leader from being a humble follower. A lot of people seek position and fame. It's not about that at all! It's about doing the work of the Lord. It's about using your talents not for mine own enrichment. But for the sake of God. As soon as we meet, I am like what are we doing? What is your mission from God? How can I assist you? That is now my hearts desire. It took me a long time to get here. That's where I stand now.👩🏽🤝👨🏾

I started to be consistent in my prayer for a husband and a few weeks later I met my husband and soon after that we started dating, I am so blessed to say that we are now engaged to be married and I do not know why but today I revisited this video and I am so overwhelmed by God's grace (that after watching and praying - a year later I would have found my life partner). I just got married for the first time at age 57. Been saved since I was 25, so have been praying most of my life. It should not have taken that long, but I”m very very grateful for this man. Of course, he has been married before. Was not sure if it would ever happen b/c I’ve waited so long. God has been faithful, but it was not the will of God that I waited so long, nor for any others that are waiting. It is the will of God for marriage.

I want a man that is 1-3 deeper relationship with God. Pursuing his presence. I don't want a man that i should drag to church or prayer or fast. In fact he should be the leader of the house in everything.
It sounds ideal but that's a tall order that's not very likely in this culture. Many men now weren't trained up in this way as boys for that degree of maturity. For some reason families and churches didn't prioritize it. A lot of women are going to be broken hearted if they're seeking that right off the bat. Growth is possible though. It could be a part of God's plan for her growth as well. Ending up with a man that grew up in church with wrong doctrines could bring worse problems than a less matured or new Christian.

Ask your families and communities to help you find a spouse as well. Relying on God alone to meet the right man isn't wrong but it often isnt very effective. The way people got married in the Bible was primarily through family intervention, not praying and waiting for something to happen. Marriage is an earthly institution and some earthly methods are necessary to make it happen in many cases.

Love this conversation. I will celebrate my 15 year anniversary this month. My husband was around all my life, even though I hadn't met him yet. He saw me with my father when I was a young girl, then I moved to another town as a teenager walking with my best friend and saw this man who had my attention on the other side of the street, walk way past him, I kept looking back. Years later he was around my sister's guy friends driving them to their destination as a favor. When we finally met and started dating, and married, he began to tell me of all the times he remembered meeting me, I said Really?:, He told my father's name & described his personality. He then told me about how he remember me as a teenager, I said what did I have on?(He said a purple shirt)and it was true(now I'm floored). He described my sister's friends and their names(all correct). God can connect you to your spouse Wherever you are, it just HAS to be the right timing and Maturity in Christ.

I’m 60 and have never been married. What I’ve learned is, there was some “stuff” God needed to get out of me “before” I got married. I’m soooo thankful God “made” me wait and that I listened to Him. During our season of waiting, there are things God wants us to do. Also, be prepared to “truly” trust God because the season “might” last longer than “you” think. But, trust that He know best and submit to Him first.

This was so good!!! Having videos like this encourages me. I am a 42 year old woman, empty-nester, celibate 9 years and raised my now Marine son as a single parent. The Lord has been faithful. I own my own home and have 100% been preserved. However, there’s been a shift and believe the Lord is preparing me for my husband. I’ve Never been married or even had a long-standing relationship. I just heard this in my Spirit "God will do the picking, I will do the pursuing." Because I know I am a Bad picker. If I go by myself, I will pick a wife based only on superficial things. I'm 39 and still single, and thanking God. I am working on finding Gods purpose for my life, and in that fulfillment. For christians we have an assignment, a work to do on this earth. 💯What a lot of people in the church don't tell you, is that first, not everyone wants to be married and that it's okay if you don't. Secondly, make sure you pursue your individual God-given purpose, and that the purpose aligns with your possible mate's purpose collectively for a more harmonious union as life brings many challenges. Third, the singles ministry is filled with a lot of couples and is not for everyone. Lastly, the church should acknowledge the breakdown of relationships within its walls from the pulpit to the congregation as often it glossed over with the same sayings of forgiving and pray but all the bandaids are peeling off generations of the same wounds with no real accountability and this is why so many are not there. 💯💯

God says BE fruitful, multiply and replenish the earth. Its a command. Unless for medical reasons or you are going on dangerous missionary service for the Lord in which having children will be an hinderance, if out of personal choice you decide not to, you are not fulfilling the productivity God wants us to do. The same with Paul, who goes from places to places and faces persecution alot on mission work. It is better to marry than to burn.

I loved hearing the testimonials of how each of you meet your future husband. I suffered from many disillusions about how the covenant of marriage works. The true purpose of marriage as well. I had made up in my mind a long time ago that marriage wasn't for me for various reasons. However, I know now that is not so.
There is a mission that my future husband has. I have to continue to align myself up with God and seek his wisdom and instructions. There is a work for us to do together and not separate. I accept that now.
It's not about me and what I want to do. It's about fulfilling the call God has already ordained for my life with him before I was brought forth to this earth. Now that my thoughts are in alignment with God's purpose for my life, I am believing that my future husband shall come forth from behind me.
Right now, I am praying for his ministry. I am seeking God for Spiritual wisdom for the path that we must travel together to further advance the kingdom. I pray that our marriage would serve as a witness to God's power, sovereignty, His Greatness, His Love, His kindness to look beyond my many faultsbonly to see our needs. I desire for God to get the Glory out of this union. I pray that our union will show the world this is God's perfect way. I am no longer afraid of the unknown because of the One that I do know! I know that he is a gift from God. I know that God is the head and then he is second in command. I trust God to do what he does best. I trust that God's will is done in my life now and then our lives after he comes forth. Yes, I submit to his mission. For that is what is best! I will no longer waver or be double minded. I will be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the word and love of God my Father. I say yes to God's will even before I know the full plan. I desire to go where I am needed. I know there is a place for me! I trust that God today and whence forth will lead me to God's perfect will for our lives. Not my life. But our lives together in Christ! I will no longer waver in my decision. I will no longer struggle with indecisiveness.
I stand firm on the word of God. God has annointed me to speak glad tidings to the meek, to bind up the broken hearted, and to open up the prison doors to those who are bound. It's the anointing that breaks yokes. He has given me Godly wisdom to share to those who seek him. He has given my power and the authority to break chains off of his people. To teach the next generation to fight the good fight of faith. We must spread the word of God and the love of God in truth to all generations. That is why we were born. We were born to serve God in whatever capacity He has chosen. I have wasted a lot of time on things that were not fulfilling God's purpose.
You only become a great leader from being a humble follower. A lot of people seek position and fame. It's not about that at all! It's about doing the work of the Lord. It's about using your talents not for mine own enrichment. But for the sake of God.
As soon as we meet, I am like what are we doing? What is your mission from God? How can I assist you?
That is now my hearts desire. It took me a long time to get here. That's where I stand now.👩🏽🤝👨🏾
