I watched a Video prior how this dude made Cho Cho Charles on his own on Unreal Engine and was very impressed. I always liked the Idea to make my own came despite having very little programming knowledge. Videos like yours are very refreshing. Def Subscribing to see your Progress, keep it up! Also your Video Quality improved a lot since the last video, good job.
Thank you so much! Yea I actually know the video you’re talking about. It’s super interesting to see people talk about learning coding and ultimately something that’s stuck with me is “if it works it works”, game dev is like art you don’t have to be a perfect programmer. People always joke about the Yandere dev “if only there were a better way to do even numbers” but hey, if it works it works. If you are ever interested in trying to learn Godot, I highly recommend GDQuest’s, “Learn to Code from Zero with GDScript”. It was the only thing that helped me break out of tutorial hell and start making my own progress, using the documentation and other videos as aids instead of full crutches. Thank you again and I hope I can continue to improve and grow and see you next week!
Thank you! I really appreciate it! It's fun to look back through the week and see the progress. Some days where I've felt like I got nothing done I look at my footage and notes and surprise myself, haha.
Looking forward to the next Devlog 😁
Thank you! I’m making steady progress already on some stuff I mentioned in this video so I’m excited to share again this week 🫡
