They are pretty good! Combined with his res beacon and the right team comp, he can certainly be a real threat against even the strongest Strategists right now

I mentioned this to someone in another comment yesterday, but, it can be really hard to accurately judge how well you're doing early in the season since ranks just got reset. For example, I'm an Eternity player being paired up with / against Diamond players right now (can tell since they don't have the GM+ emblem on their profile) so the quality of matches varies widely. Give it a week or two as people spread out their ranks more and you'll get a better feel for how you're doing. CnD are incredibly strong right now, I'd argue the best Strategist this season, so just keep working on your own gameplay and you'll see progress!

Wolverine is incredibly strong, especially heading into Season 1, at GM+. He does %based damage, so yes, his damage is low on 250hp characters, but he is a tank killer, and makes it basically impossible to play two tanks into him.

Wolverine hard counters Groot. Any team that can do a lot of damage to his walls works pretty well too

Solid team-shooting his walls neuters Groot pretty solidly. Without them, he's a health sponge. For specific picks, anyone who can pressure him up close and sabotage his wall placement is ideal. Wolverine excels at this due to his ability to get in close and move Groot where he wants with his leap, plus his tank shredding potential.

Well he was my most played character in Season 0 and I was able to hit Eternity, so, I do think so, to some degree. You need to know when to swap off of him/ when it's not working, but generally, he's a fine character. People don't like that you're a Strategist that doesn't have a big defensive Ultimate sometimes, so I swap if someone is complaining a lot about that to prevent anyone tilting 5 seconds into the game.

It's really hard to climb this first week or so of the season because everyone is crunched down on top of each other. Remember, even the top players got reset around low-mid Diamond, so trying to gauge how you're doing this early in the season can be hard.

I really disagree. I think that on the surface the way you describe it sounds easy, but managing your monstro placement so they don’t get instakilled is a skill of it’s own. Additionally, his harpoons are pretty hard to aim, which can make it very easy to get little value from him.

Haha I feel you. Just try to improve your own gameplay and you’ll see yourself climb. Season just reset so the best players right now are still climbing out of Diamond/ GM. I was Eternity last season and am having trouble pushing through Diamond 2 right now! Just wait a few days for people to climb and it’ll get easier.

Mantis and Cloak both have a lot more to juggle than Luna. Mantis needs to actually hit shots to get charges back and Cloak and Dagger have split kits and long cooldowns, which can be overwhelming

@@thebraketrain ah okay maybe, i was just thinking when i'm playing bad i play mantis and can still be decent enough. Cloak has a lot going on, but you don't have to aim well, which is why I said cloak.

That’s true, and Mantis typically falls into the off support role, where she overall does less healing consistency than characters like Cloak and Dagger and Rocket. Rocket is pretty good this season, but I think Cloak and Dagger are basically must pick this season after the buff, though.

I've been playing a lot of rocket lately and he definitely excels as a secondary healer. His escapability really comes in handy trying to hold down the point with your teammates while you just spam heal the space.

90% of characters cannot heal themselves. What are you talking about. And most if their kit does allow health back, means you have to engage with them enemy and hit them with an abilities. Like black panther. After you win a fight,you can't heal for the next fight unless you attack someone. so you f***** going in with no life for the next fight....and guess what you can't heal yourself without a pack or strategist on the team

@vladimiralvarenga9144 I have hours of recorded videos of players getting health back with no healers around them at all. Yes teams do play a part in the health but it's hard to refute actual video proof.

Uhhh what rank do you play at? Strategists in this game are very strong and provide a lot of useful utility even if characters are full health.

Mmm I agree the heal on Dagger is easier to use since it has auto-aim but the rest of their kit can be pretty overwhelming. Long cooldowns don’t help with this issue

That's good to know- I'm learning a lot about the Duelists I don't play much. I tried to seek out interesting tricks for characters like Psylocke from what I thought were good resources but it turns out there are even better techs! Thank you!

Well normally I play tanks but I find Rocket Raccoon really enjoyable, which is really strange since I hate Mercy in Overwatch. Adam Warlock is a close second
