  • Have you heard the terms Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) with the Disabled Child Benefit (DAC) but aren’t quite sure how they could benefit your loved ones with disabilities - and how you or they might go about securing these public benefits?

    41:16 What happens if my child is getting SSDI and gets married? - the answer given by speaker is not correct in the following case. If Child is getting SSDI on their own record marriage has no impact. The impact is only for Title II CDB/DAC benefit. The word SSDI should not be used for CDB/DAC. Both CDB and SSDI are Title II benefits, where CDB is on a parent's recored and SSDI is on one's own record. The latter has no asset limit.
