That’s a Holy ground of memories to touch…the laughter of the little one probably echoed yours when there as a child….it made the house a home, even if just for a moment. ❤
Grandma's house was always the best place to visit for me, too. The smell of the damp wood siding, a little moldy, grandpa's bumpy, hand-laid concrete, and the arbor of concord grapes for homemade grape jam.
Identical to my family's homestead in Eastern KY. The 100 year old house finally caved in recently. Ive also told my kids about the out house and drawing water from a well. Playing in and taking a bath in the creek out front and always having to watch for snakes. How I miss those times and people.
Would of been nice to see what it looked like now. Just wondering if the place was the old way instead of new stuff. I grew up in a old place and will always cherish the memory's.
Enjoying the video I am from Lebanon Va but my sister in law was from Pilgrim Knob’s I remember being there for their wedding 💒 she was a Horn before marrying my brother 👨 a Harrison ❤

A southern tradition; keep the house, don’t sell it to strangers.
