Hi... I've been following your videos... Thank you for lots of information.. can I use compliment night stay/ room upgradation/set lunch voucher in taj palace hotels? Will it apply for palace hotels apart from 20% discount for booking??
The answer is No. it’s only for participating hotels. You will get 20% discount on the trim rates. That’s it

Usually children below 12 years are allowed free of cost, however it’s always good to check with property!
Checking the video well explained. Just one thing to add AMEX plat card holder get Tajepicure preferred membership but without 1 Night Complimentary Taj stay voucher making it not so happy proposition through AMEX
Right! Not only stay that card doesn’t offer meal or spa voucher. That’s only for 25% discount on food, stay etc

It depends how much you can make. Plus you won’t pay ₹70,800 as annual fees just for this !
Based on my personal experience - I won't recommend Taj Epicure to anyone. Most staff members don't appear well versed with membership details and they themselves struggle to find availability in hotels. The website is very unfriendly and I am not even sure if it tracks availability properly. I was simply not able to use a 20% discount voucher or free night voucher through the website - as almost no hotel was ever available on any date. Whenever you may want to book, those dates are almost never available for the hotel of your choice. Skip it and enjoy much greater flexibility. I am completely regretting my decision. I also feel Taj has oversold its membership making it tough for anyone to use it properly.
Thanks Nilab for sharing your perspective. It’s important to see other side of the coin however we have utilised 4 membership of Epicure is last 3 years and we have stayed at Taj Bekal, Coorg, Kovalam , GIR and Kumarakom. I think they customer service (central reservation) team is helpful however thanks for sharing your views.
Hello Brother... I purchased taj epicure privileged membership few days back. But I don't think I am getting any sort of benefits from the same. I have tried a lot of dates to get the complimentary nights but not getting the rooms on any of those dates. Tried several hotel/resort options, tried booking stay which is 10 months from now but its all the same.
I feel like I am trapped by having such amount towards the membership :(

Well, my advice is to keep checking if you have 10months time. I have booked Taj Bekal and Taj green cove without any issues. Since it’s free cancellation booking, so people might block it and once they release, it’s available under this category where they can offer.
Please also understand that Hotels rate have increased and in high demand. So we shouldn’t buy voucher for 2/3 properties, rather should have at least 5 or more properties in mind to redeem. Thanks

Suppose I have booked complimentary 2 nights stay under the privileged program but for some reason, I have to cancel the reservation. So my complimentary stay will be marked utilised or I can use it again?
It’s free cancellation till 14 days or 7 days etc.
Yes can reschedule as per your convenience till validity

Thanks for all the details about taj membership. I recently purchased Epicure privilege membership but when i'm trying to redeem 2 complimentary nights at any taj property, it saying 'UNAVAILABLE'. I have tried it for several dates and taj hotels but to no avail. Can you please help me with the issue?

Simply visit a Taj lounge with voucher and card. If they have availability at participating hotel they will allow. You will get free water, tea or coffee with cookies.

What do you mean by GST taxes. Per room you will have to pay ₹540 towards taxes, are your talking about this ?

You will pay the same at the property. Just block your room using epicure voucher!

Irrespective of room rate you will pay this much only. Since you need to book using epicure voucher digitally..

For Taj Malabar- I think it was one of the rare deals… I am talking if Feb 2022.. so they wanted the guest to come back (that Covid period).. however keep checking your might get steal deal anytime

1. You can get the list online easily, please let me know if you haven’t find the link yet.
2. Yes you can. You can book 2rooms at the same property or two consecutive nights, conditions, if property is having availability.

Yes they are allowed. However it’s always good to confirm from the property where you gonna stay.

Hi Yash. You can have one add on card for your spout or anyone.
Also please note that to avail complimentary night stays and all, main cardholder needs to be present.
However card can be used by add on member to avail 25% discounts and other discounted offerings

Yes you need to pay taxes.. usually it’s ₹180 or ₹240 per person. You can order as you want till you can eat.
dont spread wrong details to your follower ..dont cheat them like taj....because today i like to book in taj wellington mew chennai...in their website and private travel site they shows ROOMS AVAILABLE all category , but they simply refused and provide proper detail....i think they pay you for promotion...this kind of news not create good impression for your followers ....good day but dont do this
Dear Selva. Please read the terms and participating list of hotels. Wellington Mew is not covered. Anyway, we would love to get paid for our travel but unfortunately that’s not the case. We provide all the information based on our experience. Good day to you too!
That’s true, Taj Wellington Mew is not covered. Always check which hotels are covered.
