@Scale Models by Rob. What are you using to wipe off the excess? Is it water or thinner of some sort. I had a very difficult time wiping off Vallejo black wash with water.

To make it thinner I use water, but straight after applying black wash I try to take off excess a mount then, because then it still wet and easy to take off. but still black wash will gave that dark effect to your kit. So be careful

@@scalemodelsbyrob1679 Thanks for the info. I think I waited too long and it got pretty dry. I did get it off with a little Tamiya X20A

What type of clear coat do you use ?
I cant wipe it of without damaging my clear coat

My only assumption is some kind of gloss primer, do to his plane looking shiny. in other words, he may have used the 2 green colors as you see in the video to paint the plane, and topped it off with a gloss primer, It all looks airbrushed to me. i might be wrong, i am not some expert at this.

@@zetaopress2389 yes that i understand but when i try to rub it off i damage the clear coat

Hey, I use gloss varnish to make the plane more shiny and let it dry for a long time, approximately 8-12 hours. Then when I use black wash the coat isn't damaged. :)

@@scalemodelsbyrob1679 Wow really? You got some good hands then. If i were to paint a full model with a paint brush it'll look eh. I only paint up small parts/details with a brush. Other then that i airbrush haha
