Nice. But why is the power connector on the front panel of the power supply... 😅

I agree! 😅 It definitely looks a bit awkward with the cord sticking out of the front panel.

Sandu, I want to thank you for taking the time to review a wonderful product from my home city, Melbourne (although they are actually manufactured in China, I believe).

Hi. Great review. Will you be reviewing the Timekeeper GT4’s? Thanks

    Hi,
How would it compare to Benchmark HPA4 ? I’m still hesitating between these two to drive my LCD-4 properly…
I currently have a Violectric V281 but I find it a bit too warm.

If you need a headphone amp only without a DAC section, and you want it as fast and as resolving as possible, then I would get the Burson Voyager and later add a Fusion Core.

Thanks for the review! It seems with the devices in the last 2yrs or so, armed with data, anyone looking for unlocking Dac-Amp performance should look at a combination of a power supply with the Dac, instead to just spending a lot on a very premium Dac only. Although it was already known that the power supply is the essential foundation to any audio product, we now have options and stacks and availability and the connections for the same on Dacs.

If you really want to take the power to the next level, ensure that the fusion core is being powered by a top notch power cable + build or purchase a custom DC cable for the Fusion Core.
I built my own 0.75m up-occ pure silver dc cable for the Fusion Core and it elevated the performance dramatically. I did also use carbon noise filtering techniques + 2 EMI filters on the DC cable. The detail retrieval is now matched with the Enleum AMP-23R.
I've done other things as well to further improve the Voyager and Fusion Core but i'll not get into that!

Hi, if you go to my written review, you will observe that I use only pure monocrystalline silver cables everywhere and those are Crystal Cables Monet power, interconnects, and ethernet cables. I wholeheartedly agree that nicer cables will improve the GT4, but I didn't want to touch base on that, as many are still not ready to accept that cables matter so much.

@ ah no worries that’s completely understandable. Definitely a tough subject to push on when a large ratio of people don’t believe in the change.
Thats a nice set of cables, silver is the best 💪
I’m changing minds on cables in the community everyday. I work with studios and mastering engineers in the UK and do demonstrations of cabling and tweaks and such and help optimise systems.
Recently helped the studio out with these changes where they recorded London Grammar Latest Studio Album. Unfortunately they did the changes after the album was recorded, but if they make any more music at that location, it will sound dramatically better 😁😁😁

Damn, I really want one of these. I had the Conductor 3X Reference and loved it. I imagine these new ones are WAY better.

Hi, can I ask your advice please? I got an ex demonstration pair of Audeze LCD4 from my local hifi dealer. What is the cheapest way to power them? I can't afford anything expensive. Would a chord mojo 2 through a drop thx amp work? Please help. Paul

I know this is a petty, OCD thing, but that triangular inset on the left for the HP outputs looks like it came right off a Vioelectic amp (and all their Chinese clones)..... Why did Burson do that?

Great review as always! You said that you prefer the amp section of the GT4 with the Fusion Core to that of the Voyager with the Super Charger. Do you prefer the Voyager with the Fusion Core to the GT4 with the Fusion Core, though?
