Using the questions as a ruse and instead, observation of the actions. Brilliant.
This is actually how many real psychology tests are done. Not on that scale, much more subtle, but still, yeah.
@@gbyjrjn No, this is actually not how many real psychology tests are done. While it is a relevant problem for psychology tests that the person being tested could try to deceive and there is lots of talk about how to prevent that (the best being if the person being tested is not at all motivated to deceive, lol), the testing being depicted is definitely not the Fix-all-solution and there are several problems with it.
For one the sort of testing alluded to here would require lots of observation, which you often don't have the ressources for. Actually the only two types of testing I'm aware of that use lots of observation are assessment centers and assessment of children. Secondly, while you can try to interpret actions in regards to their intentions, psychologists are not mind-readers and one can be wrong in guessing intentions. For example the person in this sketch migh be absent-minded or only have a green pen available and therefore use the green one. Thirdly, if you try to deceive the persons being tested about what they are being tested on, there could still be persons catching onto that and still deceiving you (and you would now value their high scores higher than you would in a test you are aware can be deceived) and additionally there could be persons who would usually get high-test-scores, but in this testing environment they catch onto the fact that you are deceiving them, but make wrong assumptions about what they are actually being tested on and due to that do badly (so your test might actually get worse at identifying what you want it to identify). Nevermind that you always have to weigh ethically whether the deception i worth what you gain trough it.
Making the test a ruse to test actions reminds me of when Will Smith got tested when inquiring at the Men in Black.
As a psychologist I wholeheartedly wish that this was how personality tests actually work.
The scary thing is that they now use them for screening job applicants 😩

One thing I've noticed after watching this video - different perfume bottles spray different amounts.
I have one that feels like 3 sprays in 1 - two of those would have you cropdusting a country.

This was not only hilarious, but loaded full of truth. I'd bet over half the people in therapy need to be told something much more honest than what they are, lol.

Welp, idk but I absolutely despise employers that disclose their own employees personal information to third party alliances and affiliates for “contractual purpose” without consent
