6 Days in Isolation with Mum | According to Foil, Arms and Hog

- We've all been wondering how Oisin and his Mum are getting on in quarantine so I thought I'd try and answer that question...
Since Foil, Arms and Hog can't get their costumes to give us a new Oisin and Mum in Quarantine sketch just now, I thought I'd put together an impression of what it might be like based on what we know already.
In this, a traumatised Oisin reflects on the first 6 days of being in lockdown with Mum. It turned into an absolute epic. The first day is longer as there is more set up, they get shorter after that.
(I know the 18th has nothing to do with anything but I was very short on clips to choose, I guess they started isolating early, I know I did!)

I've had this conversation with my mother so many times
I always let my mom lick the spoon and I lick the bowl. All is balanced, as they should be.

Oisin and his mum are my favourite sketches! I can watch them over and over again and still belly laugh! The driving lesson has to be my all time favourite!

I’m a mum of three. I cannot for the life of me get the tele remote to work. My kids don’t even touch it, and it obeys them. I’m constantly saying, “I don’t want you to do it for me. I want you to show me!”
Hahaha ah, I had to miss out the clip with the tv remotes from a sketch, bit sad cos I love it. Check out Watching TV with your Parents for all their commentary on that.
The secret is the very scientific approach of "press every button and find out what does what" it's what I did as a kid and teenager and still follow today. It works everywhere, try and press every button on excel, word or TH-cam, try every remote, go wild. Only slight issue is when you get buttons that don't seem to do anything or even worse seem specifically designed to break everything, there are buttons on my TV remote that I have never willingly pressed because the one time I did I had to turn the TV off and on again
This is my partner. He can point it directly at the TV and press the correct button, and nothing happens. Whereas it works perfectly for me every time!

Oh God, it's so nice to not be the only 30-year-old living with my parents...
I’ve got my 29 year old son, admittedly he’s disabled, and my 30 year old daughter both still at home and my 10 year old granddaughter… we’re like a set of deranged loonies everyday of the week but it’s all good 😊 my long suffering husband battles away in the background trying to fathom us all out 🥸 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I think all Mum's said that, didn't they? Well, mine got a bit freaked out about eating raw eggs etc. We're such worriers in our family... XD

The number of times Anne was my own mother in one scene, then totally called me out as a mom in the next, has given me whiplash.
My mom is Computer Anne and Gardening/Go Outside Anne; I am Groceries/Eat An Apple Anne and Shower Anne.

Thanks! And thanks for giving it a chance! I always try and do something creative, that's the whole point in my view. I added their name to the title cos I wanted to make it clearer it was their sketches though.

Teaching how to use the computer: that's me and my parents! The double click and switching between windows... Aaahhhg! I miss the little clock that used to appear when the computer was processing, "Don't click! Wait, the computer is thinking", it helped a lot. One day I come home and the first thing I'm told is "Something happened to the printer, it didn't want to work today. Can you look at it?". As soon as I turn it on it starts spitting paper, the same thing over and over. Apparently it didn't respond immediately so they kept clicking and clicking; there was more than 20 documents in line
hahaha oh dear, yeah, I'm sure there are a lot of parents like that! Fortunately, my dad is quite ok with computers. I remember the little clock! Still get a bit of a spinning wheel sometimes.
6 days isolated with mum...sounds like a scary movie that ends..badly.

I had to back living with me mam and dad. I love them but my God it's hard work.🤯🤪me mam breaks every mobile she has by pressing buttons your not supposed to touch and downloads lots of shite worries that she's getting hacked so frustrating we end up arguing lol 😄
The instructions to install said click any key ,so I foned my daughter as I couldn't find the" anykey", Its now a regular joke when I try doing stuff on my own .I do remind them that they too will be old one day 🤗
