      Yes, I have bought back some stuff and been working on it box by box and I’ve been so surprised with how much things are pricing at! I realised quite early into price comping I would need to thoroughly check everything before ruling it out. His books are pricing high also, some very rare and interesting books! I’m going to learn heaps from this collection and make a lot of money!

    So many things! NOW is the time to list those horror DVDs. Maybe in lots but I'd get those listed 1st as before Halloween they'll sell like mad! Fly fishing reel, beautiful glass pieces. And those stacking mugs, very cool. Some games do very well so you may have a lot of super things there!
    What a trove you have! It looks like someone's death pile. lol I keep thinking maybe this guy had aspirations of being a reseller but could never get past the shopping highs to get to the work of listing.

    I think I recall you saying you paid for all this inventory... you do know that house cleanouts are a legitimate service that people offer and charge for? I feel like for the work involved they should have paid you rather then the other way around.

    • @backfromburnout
      @backfromburnout  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I paid $200. Originally I was only buying the books but the charity shops were closed with lockdown so she asked if I wanted to take the extra boxes of house stuff and games also. Thankfully I took them as they are proving very profitable. :) this haul was certainly worth the time and effort in picking it up.

  • @rockyjaydog6447
    @rockyjaydog6447 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    one of the issues with these hauls is if you find one piece of something valuable you have to wait until you get through the whole thing to know if there are companion pieces and those one piece gotta match items grow into a whole bunch of stuff. Im just not very good at organizing but I think that is one of your strong points. Its just a pain in the ass to find the other matching piece. Careful with the horror dvd's some can bring good money. Music CD.s: best rule of thumb is movie soundtracks, rock and rap. If it is an early album or a band that had someone before they were famous can be very big money. drawer, cabinet, door hardware can bring good money. seems like you have a good handle on the other stuff.
