I use a more friendly one by saying 9:50 All Students Take Cab So All-first quadrant (all is positive) Student- second quadrant (sine is positive) Take- third quadrant (tan is positive) Cab-fourth quadrant (cos is positive)

What if I only have one side as a given? I encountered this in a activity yesterday.The given was tan = square root of 5 ( that makes it the opp, am I right? ). Using TOA is it alright if I assume that the adj is 1 ( if I assume it as [square root of 5/1] )?
32:39 While this video is older I don't see the reason to do this round about way to get to the answer, doing 180/9 = 20, so then you can do 5 * 20 * 9/9, then 5 * 20 = 100, same amount of math but a less painful way imo

when it's fraction it doesn't really matter because when you divide a negative number by a positive or a positive number by a negative, the answer will be negative.

small mistake makes your answer wrong that's the nature of mathematics
they're focused on the lecture duration than the comprehension of their students, that's how i observe them.

think of the quadrants as CAST where Q1 is A=all, Q2 is S=sin , Q3 is T=tan and Q4 is C=cos. This helps me remember.
