I dont have a bad math teacher, he's pretty great actually, it's just that the class that im taking has to go super fast, meaning i usually dont get things right away. This video though, definitely helped figure out how this stuff worked.
Pls contact for maths tutor
Glad to hear it man 👏🏼 keep it up and do YOUR very best
Learning before time is a great technique
Bro I swear to god I have the same problem. The substitute came in for 4 weeks and that guy played it nice and slow and I did amazing.
Same expect this comment is infested with spidermen
My Teacher didn't teach us about the bearings and THIS IS A PURE GOLD TO ME! THANK YOU SO MUCH!.
this helped me so much. 4 other girls and myself missed the first day of this lesson and our teacher refused to show us how to do it because we "miss too much school." So I am glad you made this video so now I can walk in there knowing what I am doing.

I can't express into words how grateful I am that this guy exists. I just looooooove youuuu so mucchhhhh. Longgg liveee, bro!
the only way to help this guy back is to watch the ads that popping out on his video and I'm going to write this comment to all of his video for you to know you can help him back by just watching his ads
If it wasn't for this guy I would be a failure in math
Yes he is an awesome teacher but I calculated some solutions along with him and I got a different answer on my calculator
Am very sure nothing's wrong with it what could be the problem can you help out pls

This is invaluable. My daughter has been crying every day in class and I never took calculus, but I understand this and I’m sure she will too. Thank you.
Life changing, truly inspired me to become a maths man

You're such a great teacher🙌 thank youuu
Excellent 👍. Now I understand it.
Last question, When I calculated part a I got 37.8 miles and part b I got 37° because the bearing was N 53° E and when we subtract it from 90° we get 37 remaining and that is the bearing of the boat from the island
Thanks for clearing my confusion ! :) You explain really well ! keep it up

Dude you're a lifesaver.
You're a saviour!💙💙
I have an exam tomorrow, and I forgot the entiretity of this concept. Thank you!
10:20 Lmfao. I'm cracked with my analysis, I get the length of hypotenuse and used Law of Cosines without realizing that Inverse Tangent can be used directly 🤣🤣🤣. Still got the same answer, but having a good inspection is really the key.
you are the best, simple explanation.
Wow this is awesome. Even a dummy like me could understand everything
aren't bearings supposed to be calculated from north, so if you have N 20 W, it would be 360 - 20 and that answer would be the bearing right? *this is because one quadrant or the space between each cardinal point is 90 degrees, so for all 4 it would be 360.*
Only true north bearings. Not compass bearings
I found it very helpful and you got a new Subscriber, I guess !
THANNNNKKKK YOU. i am now ready to dominate my math exam tomorrow
Thank you so much your making me to know things I didn't

You are the second achemedes keep it up
You're really the best
So sorry Sir but in the second example why did you look for øangle instead of the side..12 and 15 using Pythagoras theorem..Please I really want to know
Isn’t it because the question asked for the bearing and not the distance? If you want to find the distance then you use Pythagoras theorem, but in the question it asked for the bearing the boat should take to travel to the island so you need to find the angle instead of the side
You're good at explaining .
Why isn't the angle under 53° in problem 4 37°. I know why it's 26.2, but why don't we use the method 90-57 for this one?
His drawing makes it look like it is creating a 90º angle with E, but it is not. If you look at the distances and angle of the problem and draw it correctly, there would still be another, smaller angle underneath the 26.2º angle.
Thanks man u saved me
i love you you are the beat tutor
if u guys dont mind me asking
what software is he using to draw
For me you are the best
at 3:12 you said start at north or south. so let say the enemy is on the west and heading north ???
@9:40 how do you find the bearing if they give you 3 sides already
This was very helpful thank you very much!
great video,
this really helped
hi after 3 years
great video..... kindly explain why are you considering the Tangent to compute (in Question #03 @ 12:56) to find John's distance from the Croc? I am bit confused. Please explain more. Thanks
Mukarram Khan I know this comment was 10 months ago but I’ll still explain. He used tan because he is trying to figure out Y which is the opposite of the angle. And he needs to use the adjacent (500ft) to figure it out. The formula of tan is: tan = opposite divided by adjacent.
Hello professor. In the last problem, I have the similar question to the first question about how far the boat is from the island, but my question adds asks for that after 1.5hrs of sailing (assume the boat travels at 36 miles/hr). So is there anything we can do to that 1.5 hrs? where do we put in it the calculation?
Find the distance when you multiply the speed and time and add it to the original distance to get the final distance.
He IS the Albert Einstein of our generation❤
Thanks alot you helped me 👌
This was a great video! Thank you!!!!
that is right
