Jensen, I am going through all your courses, I would like to finish them all before September. Your courses are very much parallel to our curriculum. There is no white noise like making jokes and going off topic . You have a calming voice unlike Eddie Woo who is also a good teacher but for some reason he makes me stressed lol . I subscribed but I did not get any notifications for any of your new videos. As I mentioned you really value your and my time so your videos are packed with great reviews and most of the time they clarify what my teachers couldn't communicate to me. So I really don't want to miss any new videos. Can you please check why people aren't getting notification for your new ones? Thanks.

Entirely forgot the NUMBER ONE must know thing. Why it is done. I took calculus in high school, I took calculus in college, A's all the way around. ZERO APPLICATION in employment for all but one or two narrow jobs. So what is Number One? That you will never use it and that it is a way to filter out the dullards from graduating college with a degree. That is 100.284 times as important as any other reason.
I just started my math journey at 35 years old. I literally barely remembered how to do fractions. I decided to go back to college because I was tired of working shitty jobs my whole twenties. I went back to college last month. The lowest class they had was intermediate algebra, I have zero algebra or geomotry experience. So I’m having to learn algebra 1 and geomotry on my own all while still passing the class some how, I’m probably going to have to take it again. I have a deep desire and love for math now. Especially since I missed out in school on it I never went to class and if I did I 200 percent was zoned out. I stopped engaging from 5th grade on. In 4 weeks I went from division to proficiency in first degree equations in algebra, is this a good pace for a beginner? I don’t have a reference point. Do you think I could learn up to college algebra in a year? At an hour or two of study a day minimum? What about calculus? I’m also doing geomotry everyday. I had never even learned how to figure out the circumference of a circle. I just bought a new geomotry kit. How many years to learn analytical geometry? I’m just curious about these questions. I would consider myself above average intelligence, strengths in writing, reading comprehension. I grasp science easily. I just had severe adhd growing up and was failed by society. They put me in the class either the kids drooling on themselves. Which in turn made me feel stupid when I knew that I wasn’t. I look up to people like you. It’s my dream to one day take a calculus course and do well. Right now my only love and passion is learning algebra I find it fascinating, although it does feel like I’m learning at. Slow pace. I really want to grasp the concepts not just memorize formula. God bless any advice would be great considering I’m a novice
