I'm on a a6400 with the 18-135 Kit and a 35mm prime. Don't know if I should go for the Parrot Padcaster, or if I should try the Desview T2. However, on my way I came across your channel - it's a very well done review!
I’m not too familiar with the other one, but from what I can see you might be able to shoot at a wider angle compare to the Padcaster since it looks bigger, but the Padcaster would be more portable. I use to shoot my talking heads much wider before I used the teleprompter and now I’m shooting around 35mm full frame equivalent which happens to be one of my favorite focal lengths. I would say it depends on your style if you like shooting super wide or not. Thanks for watching!
Hi Jake, Thank you for the review, What do you think about presenting Powerpoint presentation as videos, isn't it a better option than using apps that force you to read word for word?
That is actually a really great question that I never thought of! I think it would work as long as you can get the remote to control the video on your phone. You can also type something up in a word doc with bullet points and copy and paste it into the app and it will keep all the same format. It really depends on the person using it and you will have to test it out to see what works best for you. Some will like to only use bullet points while others will prefer having things word for word. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!
@@JakeMcHugh, I have experienced using the PPT-Mirror app to mirror-flip the PowerPoint presentation with bullet points and use them in a teleprompter using my iPad and butterfly pedal page-flip to switch the slides.
Hey man I have the same lens and I bought the teleprompter but the corners of the videos are caught in the frame - Do you think yours is not caught because you have the filter on?
No, I still have that issue as well. What I do is use Clear Image zoom on my camera to crop in about 1.3x with no lost in image quality or shoot wide and then punch in about 10-15% in post. I hope this helps and thanks for watching!
Hi I bought the Parrot teleprompter. I type my scripts on my PC. How do I transfer the scripts from PC to the Parrot teleprompter app on my Samsung s10 phone. I can't seem to figure it out . Any help would be greatly appreciated.
What I would do in your situation with a PC and android is copy the script you have written up, paste and send it in an email to yourself, then open the email on your phone, copy the script and paste it into the app. It's kind of a weird workaround to it, but it's much nicer than typing it up inside the teleprompter app. I hope this helps! Thanks for watching !!
Thanks for the video! Hey just so you know, there is a nasty buzz on your video audio and at other times it doesn't sound very good ("S" sounds really can hurt the ears on your videos if I am wearing headphones)
Thanks for letting me know your thoughts. This video I did a while ago and I happen to have a whole different mic and audio recorder setup along with a new workflow for editing it. I hope you enjoyed the video otherwise and thanks for watching!
Hey man, I have the a6500 and I wanted to buy the sigma 16mm 1.4. Do you zoom digitally zoom in with your camera or crop the 4k image? And do you lose quality? Thanks man, great video!
I usually just use clear image zoom while shooting in 4k and have no issues at all with image quality! You could crop up to 15% in post and not lose quality as well. I hope this helps and thanks for watching!!
Thanks for the feedback. I have been playing around with some settings with my voice over mic setup. I will have to do some more tweaking. Thanks for watching!
Very good, thanks

Ah gotcha, the best thing you can do is just pick something and start. Once you start creating content you will find what you like best! Good Luck!
I am surprised you don't have more subscribers and get more views. Your content is good. Thanks for the info.
Thank you! I really appreciate the kind words. I’m glad you are enjoying the content!
I have that exact same lens on my canon m50. Where would I get the step up ring and the filter for an affordable price?
how close can you get to the teleprompter? Sorry to ask you again about distance lol
It’s the same distance! (3-4 feet). You could also use it a little further away and make the font bigger on the app so it’s easier to read

Jake McHugh The clear image is working! I saw it in another comment. I was so worried I wasted 100 bucks but this should work with the CIZ
We need these!
It sure makes a difference! Thanks for watching!
Wow this is great bro...i need one of these for my channel...tanx for this handy review
No problem! This thing is a life changer. Thanks for watching!
Does the app work on Android?

Jake McHugh thank you so much! What about if I shoot in 1080 and clear image zoom in just a tiny bit?
You should still be good in that situation. This feature on the Sonys is really nice!
Voice is very bassy!
