Pretty helpful video. I am looking at maybe getting reclinable Braum's in my 2023 challenger, either Alpha X or Orues. Did you find a fix for the airbag light or do you just ignore it? When I swapped out my steering wheel for a carbon wheel, I had an airbag warning that pops up on the center dash screen for a few seconds, then it goes off and then just a sold little light after that. I fixed that problem as I simply didn't snap one of the airbag connectors all the way in. Curious what you did. I thought the seat belt buckle was attached to the transmission hump but I guess not.
Nice the Braums are pretty nice seats. I'm just ignoring it for now. I think if you disable the SRS before removing the seats that might help.
It beeps a bit when I'm driving but it sits in the garage all the time, I haven't driven it since November. Lmk if you have any ideas to fix 🙏🏽
One other question. At exactly the 7 minute mark you show that you used that weird looking factory bolt that you had to buy a special socket for. How did you get the socket and the socket wrench to fit in what looks like barely enough space for the bot head alone to fit? Did you use channel locks?
I ended having to take a wrench to it because there wasn't that much clearance. I also put some rubber pieces under the bold to make it taller. 20/20 I should've used metal cause you can feel the rubber when you sit down.
How did you mount the seatbelt
It still sits the same from before but we would like a braum seatbelt holder for easier accessibility
What did you do for the seatbelt buckle
We installed the buckle back onto them after i think
