    Put simple, we dream because it's our brains way of keeping us alive when we sleep..

    • @MedicalCentric
      @MedicalCentric  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @sam3kperv That's a straightforward way to put it! Dreaming is indeed thought to be a crucial part of the sleep cycle, helping our brains process emotions, memories, and experiences. Some researchers believe that dreams play a role in problem-solving and creative thinking as well. So, while we sleep, our brains are actively working to keep us healthy and prepared for the day ahead! It's fascinating how complex our sleep and dreaming processes are.

    Humans, cats and dogs also have dreams so I don't think emotional disorders have anything to do with dreams.

    • @MedicalCentric
      @MedicalCentric  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @Alex-kp3hr You're right-humans, cats, and dogs all experience dreams, which are a natural part of the sleep cycle. While emotional disorders can influence the content and frequency of dreams, dreaming itself is a normal process that occurs across many species, independent of emotional health. Dreams serve various functions, from processing memories to making sense of daily experiences.

    But what do you call or theories the dream in a dream? Like I know it's a dream that I have to wake up, but when I woke up like I literally opened my eyes get up to bed, but realizing I'm still dreaming.

      @CW0801-s What you're describing is known as a **"false awakening."** In this phenomenon, you dream that you've woken up and started your day, but you are actually still in a dream. It can feel very vivid and real, making it confusing when you finally do wake up for real. False awakenings are a common experience and are often linked to the stages of sleep where dreams are most vivid, such as REM sleep. They can sometimes be part of a lucid dreaming experience, where you become aware that you are dreaming while still in the dream.

    I dream multiple times of me trying to learn how to drive and me returning to school.

    • @MedicalCentric
      @MedicalCentric  11 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @RubyMoney2255 Dreams about learning to drive and returning to school often reflect a desire for control, growth, or a fresh start in certain areas of life. Driving can symbolize steering your own path, while school represents learning or tackling new challenges. It might be your mind's way of processing a need for progress or taking on new responsibilities-exciting signs of personal development!

      Dreams can be influenced by various factors, including stress, diet, and experiences, but there's no direct correlation between specific foods and such vivid dreams. ❤️

    I had a nightmares and now I drink coffee to stay awake. if I fall asleep I'll die

    • @MedicalCentric
      @MedicalCentric  12 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @missjessica8634 Nightmares can feel terrifying, but remember, they can’t harm you in reality. Drinking coffee might keep you awake temporarily, but try some calming activities to ease your mind, like deep breathing or listening to relaxing music. Reassure yourself that sleep is safe-rest will help you feel better and is essential for your health. If the nightmares persist, consider reaching out to someone you trust or a professional for support.

      @brp5497 It sounds like you're exploring the power of meditation and the practice of calming the mind. Meditation, especially when practiced consistently, can indeed reduce the constant chatter of thoughts and help achieve mental silence. Yuttadhammo Bhikkhu’s teachings on TH-cam are a great resource for learning how to meditate and manage thoughts. With time, you'll likely notice more peace and clarity in your daily life. Keep practicing and stay mindful! 🙏🌿

    Dreams go fast.

    • @MedicalCentric
      @MedicalCentric  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @scottmcdaniel5515 Dreams can indeed feel fleeting, often slipping away quickly after we wake up. They occur during the rapid eye movement (REM) stage of sleep, and while they can be vivid, our brain's transition from sleep to wakefulness can cause the details to fade rapidly. If you want to remember your dreams better, try keeping a journal by your bed to jot down anything you recall as soon as you wake up.

    • @MedicalCentric
      @MedicalCentric  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @Vo1DSh0t That sounds like a powerful and intense dream, where you played the role of a protector during a challenging situation. Dreams like this can often reflect deep feelings of responsibility or concern for your loved ones. While it might have been a stressful experience in the dream, it also shows your inner strength and desire to keep your family safe. Sometimes, dreams like these can help us process emotions or situations we're dealing with in real life.
