same as the teachings of our prophet (Muhammad) Hadith al Barra bin Azib, Rasulullah said: "When you are going to sleep, then perform ablution (perfectly) as you do ablution for prayer, then lie down on your right side." (Narrated by Bukhari). In another narration, the Prophet also said; "Lie down on your right side," (HR Al-Bukhari and Muslim). According to the Buddha's text, it's said to be sleep at right side as instructed to put slightly right hand under body with folding arms slightly below head also. I found in Buddhist religious text, so I think if I am not mistaken
How to know whether we sleep in the direction of north? It seems certain people like me are unable to use all seven ways to sleep. How about applying 4 ways to sleep?
1- never do anything else on bed except sleeping. (subah uthne ke baad bistar ka tyag) [going on bed means going into deep sleep] 2- Going into deep sleep at fixed timing everyday. (10 minute upar niche bhi nhi) 3- Going to sleep early at right time. (9-11 is the best time to sleep) 4- Negative or neutral thoughts during whole night routine. (only positive thoughts ❤) 5- Head should not be on north direction, sleep on your left side. [u'll get a deep sleep & veru less or no dreams with left side] south & east improoves sleep quality, spine should be straight] 6- eat - light, fresh, hot, satvik food 3-4hr bef bed. 7- Never sleep on a very thick pillow, and on a very soft bed or matress, your body should be in a stress free position while sleeping.
