Good day, dear friends,Paul with you again and you are back on the channel "PaulS” Enjoy watching ;)
    ============================================
American football (referred to simply as football in the United States and Canada), also known as gridiron,[nb 1] is a team sport played by two teams of eleven players on a rectangular field with goalposts at each end. The offense, the team with possession of the oval-shaped football, attempts to advance down the field by running with the ball or passing it, while the defense, the team without possession of the ball, aims to stop the offense's advance and to take control of the ball for themselves. The offense must advance at least ten yards in four downs or plays; if they fail, they turn over the football to the defense, but if they succeed, they are given a new set of four downs to continue the drive. Points are scored primarily by advancing the ball into the opposing team's end zone for a touchdown or kicking the ball through the opponent's goalposts for a field goal. The team with the most points at the end of a game wins.

Drew Bledsoe’s injury did NOT “open the way for Brady to join the team.” Words are your tools. They can be sharpened & maintained so that they are effective. They can be dull & ineffective.
Describing facts, events that have already occurred, is not the time to be creative with words. Brady was drafted in 2000, kept on the roster as rare 4th QB, worked his way up in the roster, played well in the 2001 preseason (his second season) & got his opportunity to start in that second season when Drew Bledsoe was injured in Sept 2001. I typed that quickly out of memory because those things already happened so I wasn’t worried about creative writing. I didn’t put this in the general comments because I’m simply offering constructive criticism that’s helped me through many years.
Saying that after the first Super Bowl Brady took a step forward over the next 3 years to bring up 2007 doesn’t mention that he & the Patriots won 2 more Super Bowls in those 3 years.
Find your voice but get the important facts out. Again, not saying this to be jerk. Ppl pointed out my mistakes in writing & speaking through the years I’m grateful because it helped me for years to come. Good luck with your channel. 👍
P.S. - Get a copy of Strunk & White, “The Elements of Style.” It’s a very short guide that will gives examples. Good luck. Maybe you’re age 50 but the words sound like those of a young person learning to find his or her voice. Not an insult, just giving you honest information of how it sounds. Feel free to tell me if I’m wrong. Best wishes. 👍

@@benhicksbass early in Brady's career, and a couple spot seasons sure. The Patriots had notoriously bad defenses in the latter half of that 10 year gap in between championships, most notably in 2011 when NE gave up the second most yards in history (the most was ironically the Saints of the same season). Brady carried that team to the second Super Bowl loss to the Giants in what was the first unanimous MVP win.

The joy that he gave the Northeast as a lifelong patriots fan since 1994 with Drew Bledsoe, and then Tom Brady was such an extended period of excellence between two great quarterbacks the coach who helped turn it around first which was parcels then he left Belichick takes over in 2000 and as they say, the rest is history! people can hate the greatness, but you gotta respect it because very few players coaches and teams can fully accomplish what they did together. That’s why I don’t like the comparison between Patrick Mahomes currently and Tom Brady because he’s still pretty young and it’s hard to make the comparisons until he's actually up to exactly where his (TB12) records are and then that conversation can be had.

this guy is trying to convince us they both needed each other lmao. No brady didn’t need belichick but bill for sure needed brady. For one Bill didn’t find brady it was assistants who beg him to take him. Bill failed in cleveland and failing currently without brady. 11 seasons 2 winning seasons 1 playoff berth 0 playoff 46 percent winning percentage with 6 different QBs that made at least one pro bowl. Belichick kept brady on the roster because he brady was lighting it up at practice and had a better pre season than drew it doesn’t take a genius to understand to keep that guy on the roster. Bledsoe should no evidence he would have success under bill because he went 5-13 with bill before brady started. Brady took that team to the championship game in 2001 and got hurt in that game. Bledsoe almost lost that game for the patriots with a dropped int by the steelers at the end of the game. That’s why brady got the start in the superbowl because he was the reason they were in the position in the first place. Brady led the league in tds in 2002 more than the mvp rich gannon. Brady than won the superbowl in 2003 throwing for 340 yards and 3 tds 32 points against carolina that’s not system play. brady early in his career was great negated by terrible receivers. From 2001 to 2006 before Randy Brady best receiver was troy Brown. Good player but wasn’t a guy teams would go crazy for to have on their team he would be a 2 or 3 at best on 90 percent of the teams in the nfl yet he still won 3 superbowls and multiple pro bowls before Moss. Brady made edelman and welker into stars if they never linked up with brady their names are not big. Randy and gronk are different

This commentary is lacking in real substance....half the info is incorrect...Brady was hardly a game manager...after taking over from Bledsoe who by the was the last time got to playoffs and SB was 1996...by the time bb got there in 2000 ..bb Bledsoe was 5 -13...NFL us not what you did in past what are you doing now!!!!...Brady after had 4 game winning drives just to get them to the playoffs...in 2002 lead the league in TD passes...in 2003 2004 was runner up in MVP VOTES THATS HARDLY A GAME MANAGER!!!! The media who downgraded brady in the draft ..couldn't come to terms with bradys success...Brady is the only qb who accolades have been attributed to a coach...oh its " the patriot way"..as we now see its THE BRADY WAY...snd cannot be duplicated without him...because players have to by in and professional athletes don't by into the coach like college football they by into the players...the qb like tom brady was able to do it because he did not ask him teammates to do anything he was not prepared to do...he was in the trenches with them..took less money to make sure plsyers got their contracts ..was hands on with the offense becsuse a coach can teach you schemes but CANNOT EXECUTE....Brady was the one throwing the ball..he worked with the OL after practice to make sure they understood how to block specifically for him...defense plays better when the know they have a qb that can deliver...hence SB 38 when 2 patriots defenders on the bench talking " do you think we gonna win the game? Yeah because we got tom brady " notice they don't say coach...please STOP TALKING WHAT YOU DONT KNOW

Andy Reid has a better shot if he decides to keep coaching.

Yes, statement three. I would add, Brady was smart enough not to ask for too greedy contracts, never killing the teams salary cap. Thus the Pats were able to field legit rosters year in year out.

Bet most of you commenting here are too young to remember 2-time SB winning Giants (1986 and 1990). Great teams w/Coach Belichick playing pivotal role as DC. Say all you want that Patriot success was mostly, if not all, the result of Tom Brady’s greatness. Read/hear anything enough times and re-writing, even erasing history, is what humans tend to do. I’ll argue great chemistry between the two til day I die.

After hearing Tom and Bill speak about each other I'm almost convinced it's a stupid argument. They worked great together. Picking each other's minds for theory to reality, they learned from each other. What's not mention is the egotism. Who started to be envious of the roses being tossed. Though we'll never truly know how it truly went down, a fans perspective seems divided. Bill drafted him, kept him on the practice squad and elevated him. The other side of that is Tom's motivation, tearing up the defense on the practice squad. Putting Bill into a spot where he felt it was smart to elevate Tom's earned opportunity. From there the dynasty was born. Later on a cheating scandals and finger pointing started. This is where it appears to get petty. And despite this, three straight Superbowl appearances happened and the wheels fell off the wagon. Bill pushed Tom out and Tom won another with the Bucs. Totally causing this discussion. Bill screwed himself and Tom retired the greatest football player of all time. Bill regardless of recent down seasons will still be the greatest coach of all time. Period.

Who’s actions contributed to the demise of the New England Patriots the most?
I suggest it was Bill Belichick. Closely followed by Robert Kraft.
I believe both of them prior to Brady‘s resignation, could have extended the dynasty years by recognizing what Brady brought to the table.

Hard to say in their prime. Brady with longevity but Belichick did have his years though. They went 11-5 in 2008 when Brady was hurt and 3-1 during his suspension. However I think Gronk was a big help. They went 10-6 when Brady came back and were bounced right away. However they were a new contending team when they drafted Gronk and when he retired they were again bounced in the first round without a bye. Fast forward again Gronk retired, Tampa was bounced early without a bye and was Brady’s first losing season. In the long run Brady but Belichick did make master moves I mean he did play a role with trades. But simple Greatest QB and greatest Tight End. Patriots weren’t undefeated good without Brady either. Belichick is without a doubt one of the greatest coaches but his age has caught up and his coaching style isn’t the right fit for today’s NFL. He did help the Giants beat the Bills in the SB and he played a big role in 4 out of the 6 super bowls especially Brady’s last with New England. Brady because of longevity.

Gronk was always injured when come playoff time. Defenders would take out his knees and he was pretty ineffective throughout N.E playoff runs. I don't even remember that many moments Gronk had in the playoff. While he was with the Bucs, Gronk was a joke in the regular season. He was not in shape and was only a blocker until he was finally knocked out the some of the rust in the playoff. The following season Gronk being injured was the least of their problems. The whole team was injured. Yet, they still made the playoff. Belichick is a garbage GM and Head Coach without Brady. Nothing had changed before Brady. Just like all of coaches in the Belichick tree, they all sucked including Belichick. Why is that? The common denominator is they didn't have Brady.

Brady won 4 SB's and 3 SB MVP's without Gronk (Care for some of the phenomenal numbers) Brady put up without Gronk?
I got about 100 of these
      1. Once threw an NFL record 5 TD's in 1 quarter without Gronk (2009 vs Titans)
I got 99 more if you want..
And by the way in that last Super Bowl win over Rams > There is no SB that year without Brady..
Care for specifics? Brady put up 78 points against The Chargers and K.C in the previous 2 playoff games.
Against K.C he put the Pats ahead in that game with only 37 seconds left and Belichicks defense blew it allowing Mahomes to tie it
In OT Brady took The Pats to a first possession drive in OT for a TD > Belichicks defense never had to see the field..
And in regards to your comment about Brady not being able to win without Gronk in his last season in Tampa
Duh!!!!! He was 45 years old with a 32nd /32nd ranked run game
