I've been using this method for over a year now and it has improved my game immensely. Three of my buddies and I get together 2 or 3 times a month to play and we all started out about equal but since I learned and practiced this aiming method I have improved my game past their levels -- but recently I discovered another HUGE advantage that this method has given me. I have started to use this system when shooting bank shots. I calculate the amount of angle I need to use on a given shot and then use this system on the bank shot. It has increased my bank shot success rate from 30-35% to 60-65%. Needless to say, it brought my game up to another level.
@@gruesomebugbear9108 I had been using Little Mike's method for over a year and was amazed at how much it had improved my ability to pocket balls. The hardest part of the learning period was learning which method was needed for each angle of the shot. I was never very good at bank shot aiming but one day I had an epiphany of using Mike's method on pocketing balls to also try using it when shooting various angles of bank shots as well. I just visualize what kind of angle I need to hit the object ball to send it towards the pocket, then used Mike's method and shoot it like any other shot. My side rail to side pocket bank shots are now successful around 95% of the time, while my table length bank shots where there's less margin for error are around 2 out of 3. It all comes down to visualizing the angle and then using the proper aiming technique for that angle. The one point I need to add is although Mike never mentions it, I have found that there are many times when I have to aim directly at the 25 or 75% lines and make no pivot at all. Certain angles just require it.
@@gruesomebugbear9108 I replied to your question yesterday and it was showing up then, but for some reason it's not showing up now. I hope you were able to see it before it disappeared.
I went to the cue club to see little Mike and take a lesson from him about his aiming system. He lined me out and got me started, and the system works! I am very pleased with my improvement. Thank you little Mike.
Just 3 days ago I was missing shots that I shouldn't have missed! I couldn't wait to come back and comment on this video. Out of 45 players, I finished 1st in a tournament amongst a field of some really strong players. This video is worth it's weight in gold because I took home a really nice cash prize after practicing and following his instructions. My confidence level soared and I felt like I could almost make any shot on the pool table. It definitely simplifies where to contact your object balls but you still need to practice your positional play and the type of English you need to use!
Thank you for this fantastic instructional video! I walked away from the game 25+ years ago after being ranked just below pro status. I just recently started playing again after all those years and struggled remembering what got me to wear my status use to be. This video simplified a lot of what I forgot and once again, Thank You for this video!!!
Good system. I think there are actually 5 shots in total: 1. Split the difference to 25 or 75%. 2. Horizon (centre to edge). 3. Edge to edge. 4. Split the difference #2 which is aim at either 25 or 75% to start with and then pivot to in between that and the edge. 5. North Pole (100% straight shots where you aim for the TOP of the object ball).
I agree, some angles you will have to hit like 88% about halfway between split the difference 75% and the edge, I refuse to believe no angle will ever fall halfway between those two. You might even have 92% and 83% for example, there are many, many angles that occur in pool, but overall I do like the method and will use it for sure. There is also quess work to this method, the quess work is determining which one to shoot but with a little practice it will get easier. THE QUESS WORK ALSO WILL BE DETERMINING IF IT'S 75% OR 88%, there will be times when you have to cheat a bit to one side or the other based on the angle. Unless you are playing on a table with big pockets then that can reduce how many angles you can pocket a ball, but play on tighter pockets and see the difference. A good method none the less and can help you improve.
I'm an average club player and I incorporated Mike's splitting the difference technique into my game and its helped my game dramatically. I get down on shots now believing I will make the shot which has helped my consistency. Thanks Ken and Mike for uploading this, keep up the good work.
Ive used this system during a pool phase I went through, I recently wanted to play again but I forgot how I aimed. I have been looking for this exact video for hours and I am so happy I found it once again to refresh my memory. thank you for the best aiming system I've come across!
Hey I don't care what anyone says Mike explains this aiming system better than anyone that I have heard. I've been playing pool for about 12 years including league play and in my humble opinion this guy is on point. He makes it simple and it is amazingly accurate when you practice it. I've been using it for a month or so and I see the vast difference in my accuracy. Society wants quick answers but you must still practice. I can't thank you enough for posting this information. Alot of good shooters wouldn't show this much detail.
then plz tell me what he means by pivot, does yhe move his nbridge to 75% or does he not move his bridge and , stay aimed at 50% and just the just move the tip to 75%?
@@robertedmonds2075 I thought this too but he just means change the angle of the shot. So its not back english or anything. I kind of already use this method but mainly the find the center and pivot part to work on my shots. Its not what i usually do in a game though. What he's doing is mainly half ball where you aim at the edge and 3/4th ball shots and the 1/8th ball he hit once. So he's purposely setting them up that way and that's why it always works. We don't know how long it took them to make this video and hit each shot in.
I adopted this method and improved my game into respectability. Like a charm it works. I’m beating guys regularly that I always lost to. I’m very appreciative.
I am a counselor and I love the attitude both Mike and Kenny are demonstrating. Your instructions are very helpful. I've been playing this wonderful game for over 30 years and I'm always looking to learn more. Thanks for all you are doing to encourage so many of us.
I came across this aiming system by browsing TH-cam. I must say this system looks very very good. It makes pocketing balls much easier. Glad I found this system which makes shooting easier. Thks!
This guy is giving free knowledge. If you don't like it, don't use it. Btw, I played him in league in Vegas and is a very good 7. I need to thank him for this advice.
For those of you who are having trouble making this system work, the stumbling block for me was that he was not "SHOWING" his pivot motion (it was too fast and subtle). Once I figured out that the center-to-25, center-to-75, and 25/75-to-horizon involved a physical pivot the genius of the system fell into place for me. For those who need an explanation of the pivot, first aim at the original spot on the object ball (center/25/75) while at the center of the cue ball, then pivot your back hand only so that the cue is now aiming at the second point on the object ball (25/75/horizon). The system has some other factors that can add issues to the accuracy such as when the object ball and cue ball are very close together, but all in all this system has improved my shot accuracy tremendously!!!
@@chrisanderson4044 I find that the amount that I pivot on average is probably a 1/4 of a tip off center and because I tend to shoot the ball as softly as possible to increase my odds against pocket rattlers, English on the cue ball is not really an issue for me.
Are you aiming at the cue ball at 25, 50, 75 and changing where you hit the cue ball like english or aiming 25, 50, 75 on the object ball? I can not figure this out no matter how many times I watch the video
@@freedomhard2310 You begin by lining your cue at the center of the cue ball and aiming at the 25, 50 or 75 on the object ball. Then you move only your back hand so that you are now aiming at the new aiming point for the type of shot you need to execute.
I like what you and Mike are doing ! When I was growing up the old timers wouldn't show you anything ! I think what Mike is doing is how he simplifies the game for him ! He's giving us a base like foundation if you will and it does work I've been doing it for weeks now ! I've also been trying different applications of it , different angles , different distances , different spins ! What I'm trying to say is Mike's giving us more knowledge and I thank him for it ! After all knowledge is power in the pool world we call this an edge ! What we do with it is up to us ! Thanks once again !
Thank YOU Leroy. I've been spending a lot of time at Las Vegas Cue Club and there are lots of old timers down there with a vast wealth of knowledge on the game. They have great stories that goes along with the experience. They've also been giving me tips and pointers and man, what they know about the game, you can't put a price on.....then again, you can just pay them for it and they will happily tell you their secrets. Little Mike wants to share his knowledge with people and make it more fun for everyone. He wants to get more people excited about the game by showing them how to be better. He once told me that when he passes, his knowledge goes with him. Why not share what he knows and maybe it will better others and the sport.
i've been trying this aiming system at my local pool club.. cannot believe how the object ball just went in .. cte is just too confusing with visuals perception and blah blah blah... little mike you're a saint...if you could come to malaysia, i'll be honoured to buy you some beers....
The system isn't a perfect system but has really been helping me in tandem with my ghost ball aiming. Never been shooting better as now! Thank you very much for sharing your technique bro!
I think this a great system for the average player to be more constant, may not work for every shot but it will for most. It's simple. Most of the great players didn't learn CTE, which requires a lot more thinking. Thanks for video
Good system. It's actually called fractional aiming and has been around for years. Makes the game simpler. There are only 5 shots you ever need to shoot on a table (not hundreds). 5 different angles to a pocket and they all repeat themselves. Every system has a point at which they break down... usually when the balls are close together or at extremely sharp angles. Then an adjustment needs to be made. But those shots also don't come up as often on a table. So aiming techniques all work and many pros use them. Some are simple, some are more complicated. Find the one that works best for you and get good at it. But if you're using more than 7 angles (for a triple shim table) it's probably a system that is complicated and excessive. Believe it or not, there are at least 19 different aiming methods. Most work 80-95% of the time. Much better odds than Vegas!! Hint: The same methods also work for bank shots (if you look at where the mirror image of the pocket is at - off the table).
I have been using this system for about 6 months now and it has improved my accuracy tremendously! It definitely takes a while to recognize what method a particular shot requires but over time you will automatically know which one to use for a particular angle and your accuracy will improve. Over time I have also recognized that some shots require no pivot at all -- where you aim directly at the 25 or 75 and don't pivot at all!!! This is not discussed in any of the videos but certain angles just don't require a pivot and will result in a missed shot if you do. It will take time working with this system to learn what shots require what technique, but for me, the time invested in working with this system has really improved my game and given me much more enjoyment of the sport.
I agree when I met Hal years ago he said it’s simple and it was close to this . The great Babe Cranfield had a chapter in his book about aiming and he said don’t over complicate it . He said to keep it simple.
Dear Ken and Little Mike, I really want to thank mike for letting you share his knowledge and I want to thank you for not keeping this knowledge as a secret and share it with us. Thanks to you I played my first last 16 in a local tournament . Keep it up ! Greetings from Turkey
Actually this way of aiming is fairly inventive and effective. So hats off to you for finding something that works for you. Now for my take. When making a cut to the left, line up your shot somewhere on the left side of the cue ball pointed to the same spot on left side of the object ball depending on how steep the cut is, you can now pivot to the center of the cue ball and also to the center of the object ball for a perfect line up to make the shot without any unwanted spin which is what you have going on here. Obviously just reverse this to make a cut shot to the right. Nice job, you are a thinking man trying to find a better way of doing things.
I made all these shots from ridiculous angles. l was unaware at the time l was using this system. It is foolproof, you won’t get worse for practicing, you’ll just get damn good to compete with the big dawgs like Mike.
I tried this. And it..... works. I played on a 9 feet table. Not all ball works 100% but the most of them. This system is real helpfull to make aiming easy. :)
You're da man Kenny! I finally got my own pool table after waiting for 40 yrs and with your instructional vlogs, my game has improved a lot. Thank you Kenny!
i been using yalls aiming sytem for almost four years now and my game has came up tremendously like four times as much the best part of yalls new aiming system is when i get to one of them problem shots back in the day where i did not know where to aim on the target ball and always miss now i know where to aim and the ball goes dead in the hole thanks a million
I've tried this system now for two days in practice and games... It works. I was away from the tables for 30 years after playing for money in my younger days. My game was gone and I practiced a lot to get it back. 25 year old eyes are a lot different then 56 year old eyes. If it doesn't work for you tell us why. Maybe can make it work for you or at least might help some of us along the way. But don't sit on the couch and say this can't work. And after having emailed a few times with Ken I can vouch that him and Mike are great folks that really want to help you.
This is the best aiming system I have come across. Just watched this video earlier today and then went to play pool with my friends. They were amazed at my sudden improvement. Thanks for sharing this simple system 👍🙏🏼😊
This is a good base system to learn the game with. Everyone's idea of the "visual" points is going to be different, as is the shots reaction to the use of English; you just really need table time to work out how you see the balls. This system is similar to what I use, I always find the Edge-to-edge shots have been money for me over the years as they are the least affected by English. If anyone is having trouble with that visual, try and look at the shot as the balls overlapping, the nature of sight should allow you to focus on both balls at the same time and have them blur together. Also, like with CTE, this pivot is more of your conventional HALF tip pivot. A lot of people think of tip pivots of a whole tip being the actual whole tip instead of the tips contact point. I find it's easier to explain to people as a half tip pivot because you can then use the entire tip as your reference visual.
I love the videos and love Mike's teaching style. I am a APA 7 in 8ball and a 7 in 9ball. I have played BCA anad now just play cash league and Tap League. I have been using a edge to center aiming system and it works great most of the time but every shot is not a perfect angle so I also implement a fractional with it. I tried Mikes system this past Monday and Wednesday in league action but practiced it first. I LOVE IT AND IT IS SIMPLE TO USE AND SIMPLE TO AIM. But I did find certain shots didn't fall exactly into Mikes 3 options so I would just make a minor adjustment and pocket the ball. The key is to practice this method so your comfortable with it and be able to identify a straight to 30 degree angle to a 45 to 70 degree give or take. Make some banking videos
I've just come across this video this week I've tried it and it works, if you play the shoots as he says it works, I was using this method on a snooker table which is larger than a pool table I was playing the cue ball from the bulk end to object balls about 30cm of the top cushion and potting them so yes it does work if used the right way Thanks Little Mike.
Which by the way doesn't work except in a few cases that you could easily do without any "system" . Here's a tip: the secret to pool isn't aiming it's delivering the Cue in a straight line to hit the aim point. No unworkable aiming system will teach you that.
Cannon ball.... Cannon ball coming. It's uncanny. Wicked system Little mike, I am putting it into action and Wow. Almost impossible to miss the split the difference shot on the first attempt and any there after and is the easiest to identify. I'm working on the other two now. Big up Little Mike.
The system is a good one. I am sure the teacher unconsciously adds a little angle between the three described angles depending on the shot. Using his principles, I aim the shot in that designated direction and do a slight, unconscious adjustment when I "see the shot". Works great. I will share this video with the team. Great video! Thanks!
I think his system is objective...that he is aiming how he says he's aiming. LOTS of systems work on the shorter shots (distance from OB to pocket) due to pocket width so it's not important...and possibly not correct to aim for the center of the pocket anyway. But clearly, on longer shots only 3 points of aim is NOT enough to pocket long shots consistently. So, yes...a lot of "system advocates" are actually correcting for errors...especially on the longer shots. Finally, while most amateurs use far too much spin, few racks allow for position correct position using only center CB hits. THAT truth is where any and every aiming system must be adjusted for side spin UNLESS the OB is close enough to the pocket that it doesn't matter.
I want to add that SOME systems...like this one...or CTE or fractional aiming are way better than byguessorbygod. (unless you shoot a million balls that way like Mosconi). That is true because the major systems DO work on a LOT of shots that amateurs would miss a lot of buy guessing. So, I am NOT disrespecting the system...at all. Players must simply understand which shots (especially long rolls of the OB) will not work and/or when position play demands side spin in which case the systems often won't work.
FXBilliards im almost sure this entire video is just a prank. Like the little fraction rants in the video. It’s actually really funny to listen to if you listen to the video as a joke.
Just wow. In 2 days this drastically improved my pocketing. For me, as an average pool player, this simplified my aiming. Not plug-and-play though. You would still need to compute for corrections, but this is definitely a quick reference for where to hit the target ball at any angles. For the post-author and Little Mike, drinks are on me when you are in Manila. \m/
Thanks for all your instruction. The videos help a lot. I have been playing for a long time. Some shots still give me trouble, I am not great at it. This system might get me past a couple of those obstacles. Don't know how you find the energy to continue the videos, with all the critics on here. Glad you do.
This system is by far the easiest to understand and execute. I've tried them all. CTE can be confusing but this system is very easy to use, I tried it yesterday against a friend that kicks my ass regularly and I won more times than him. Thanks!
This aiming system literally turned me into a shotmaker overnight. For those that criticize that it's not mathematically precise, it doesn't have to be. The pocket size and speed allows for much leeway. My brother and I used to split matches and now he can barely win one game.
The pivot is interesting because it creates what Dr. Dave calls "gearing" english. Gearing english essentially compensates for throw and makes the ball roll straight towards the pocket giving you the largest margin for error.
gearing is when you pivot the cue where it rests on your bridge hand, some people call it "back hand english". Mike's method is pivoting the cueball to split the difference to aim for a shot. very different.
Greetings from Pensacola,Fl🦩 Mike I really like your system better than the CTE. Your’s is so much easier to understand without going thru what seems like endless hours of explaining in the CTE system by other people. I had your aiming system down almost immediately once I figured how to pivot. It’s so much fun and easy once your splitting the difference sinks in!Thank you so much! Can’t believe I wasted hours and hours trying to understand the CTE when all you have to do is split the difference!!!! 🥰
Thanks! I am regular player. While Thier is definatly many who will pick apart this simple concept of aiming I found it profoundly effective for many shots. Also good starting point to achieve consistency for any shot. The easiest to use and most valuable video I've seen on aiming.
I've read alot of the comments and all I'm going to say is that the system works. This system was shown to me by a skill lvl 9 in 9 ball, ApA. I am a 4/5 in 8/9 ball ApA. For the ones saying it doesn't work, line up your shots better, including how you line up your shots with your body. Then pick the right method of the three. If you don't, you will miss, I know. Once you understand which one you need to choose from, you will pocket more balls and come close to, if not already, running racks.
I have watched some of these videos over and over and have improved my game. I find the center and adjust easily after awhile and the balls go in!! I would purchase DVDs by him especially if they showed more close ups on where he hits the ball etc. His movements are fast and not clear shots at times. That being said I appreciate all the free information !! Those who criticize him for doing this shame on you. I ask what have you done for the game of pool to help others. Thanks Mike and Kenny!!
Wow! This is sooo helpful, bro! very straight forward tutorial, easy to understand. AMAZING system! Thanks to you & Little Mike for sharing this with us. Well appreciated, bro. Keep it up!
I watched this video and have learned so much from it. I have tried in practice the aiming principles that Mike shows and man does it work well. I've tried other aiming systems but this fits me so well and just takes practice to get the hang of it.
This guy can shoot the lights out, so I hate to say anything, but a shot can be anywhere from 0 to 90 degrees. You would certainly need more than 3 different aiming spots. Center, split the difference, and horizon. If you are trying a cut near 90 degrees your aiming spot is nearly a full half ball off the edge (or as he calls it, horizon) object ball. In reality, shots from 0 to 90 degrees would have 90 different aiming spots if you wanted to control the ball within 1 degree. Edit... I finished watching after I commented and I see he covered near 90 degree cuts. It still doesn't change my opinion.
I practiced this technique this afternoon and then used it in league play this evening. I won my match! Plenty more work to do but dammit, man, it works!
Amazing amazing amazing. I bet an APA league skill level 3 could jump to a 5 or 6 in 2 months. Nice work Little Mike! I am studying your aiming system now at home on my 7 ft. Olhausen.
The more that I use this aiming system, the more it just blows my mind how well it works! Logically, my mind tells me that it shouldn't work -- but it just does. For all shots 30 degrees and less, I use 5 different shots -- 50%, 50 to 25/75, 25 or 75 direct with no pivot, 25/75 to horizon, and straight horizon (0% / 100%). I'm still amazed it works so well but it does. And the totally amazing aspect of it is how well it works with bank shots!!! By just judging what kind of cut you need the object ball to hit the cushion at and applying the proper method, bank shots become so much easier. I've gone from a poor bank shot player to now making 90 to 95% of my bank shots. Believe me, that will take your game to a whole new level! How this system works so well I'll never figure out, but it sure as hell works for me.
Thanks for sharing. I had been struggling a bit with other techniques, just ghost ball and instinct, and so on. Then I started doing what you were doing exactly on my own, except I hadnt yet come to the center to horizon shot just yet ( I was using the fractional method on that one). All you have to do is adjust a tad for angle variations. It makes intuitive sense to me and is easy to use.
What's up with the trolls? Mike has given us another tool to put in our bag of tricks. I, for one, appreciate him taking some time and energy to help others become better players. Keep the videos coming guys!
Roxpa - I don't think most of us are "trolling", it just frustrating to me in particular when experts in any field give a minimal example of their technique and then say "see - it's that simple". It always looks simple when they complete something they are very good at (especially when they are using very simple cases of techniques directed towards the tough shots you really want help with that need better descriptions).
@@78tag I understand your frustration. I think we can all agree that pool can be very frustrating. However, I don't think you can say that Mike and Kenny give minimal examples. They have posted 9 different training sessions thus far (most in two or three parts), and they continually accept and invite questions that subscribers might have about the various techniques. I myself have been applying the techniques during the last two weeks in my BCA league. I won 7-0 last week against an average player, and got an ero and missed three others on the 8 ball this week (because I was too nervous) and won the match against a better player. I admit that I'm still having a bit of trouble with the horizon shot, but I'm sure I will figure it out if I can just find some time to practice. We don't all learn to read the same way; pool is no different. If this method isn't working out for you, try another. But it is sure working for me.
I have been aiming this way since I started playing pool about 4 years ago. My brother actually gave me the idea. I search the internet to see if anyone else was doing it and since I didn't have the split the difference I didn't see your video. I shoot the object ball as though it's on the rail. I often take my pool stick and hold it up so that I can picture the rail of the pool table alongside the object ball right into the pocket. As a result I am actually hitting the ball at about 75% just like you would if the ball was actually on the pool table rail.
FaDa Vlogs expect CTE youtuber will visit your channel and reject your system. We almost have the same system. The 25 and 75 for semi straight shot is the path of the white ball to the center point of the ghist ball that's why im agree with ur sysytem. I know ur computation. To all viewers just explore this system showed in this video, it will put your game into another level and you can achieve consistency in every shots.
+juan ball For those who think this is the same aa the CTE system, I strongly disagree. At the end of the day, every system gets you to the same point of contact. It's the different ways of explaining how to get there that makes it the system. Everyone has their preferences and what they are more comfortable with. One system might be better for one individual then another. There is no one system that's for everyone.
This video change my play style very fast 1 year ago i've no idea how to aim now atleast i can play for fun than than watching others... even i didnt finshe the video at that time....if your beginner and want to learn fast this is it
the cueball is the pivot in this case, not your hand. highly unrecommended because it requires you to MOVE when you're down on your shot. this probably would work on such a small table but when you're playing for real (9footers) any odd movement in your stroke or cue delivery is gonna throw the object way off.
Can you elaborate as to what the difference between pivoting and just straight up aiming to 3/4ths of the object ball is? I’m having a tough time trying to figure out why you need to pivot to 3/4ths rather than just aiming directly to it. I had the same curiosity when watching a bunch of CTE videos.
+Crux Carlo because when u pivot u starting from center of the cue ball but if u just go straight for the 3/4 cut u might be hitting the right side of the cue ball to the the right side3/4 of object ball unless ur not beginner and u know what u are doing u can just drop down from center of cue ball and aim for the 3/4
There is nothing new about this. Snooker players in England have been talking about quarter-ball, half-ball, three-quarters ball, full-ball for generations. Sometimes the angle is slightly more or less than these. Judging the angle is a matter of knowledge and experience. The great Joe Davis, World Snooker Champion since the 1920s, explained all this in detail in his book, "How I Play Snooker" in 1949.
The "pivot" on some shots you make is dead-on thru the center of the CB while others you apply low right when cutting the OB left. Is it the video perspective or do you make some minor adjustments in addition to the pivot? If so then please explain. Thank You
"horizon" is exact for 30 degree angles and "split" for 15 degrees, which are great benchmarks, but clearly for angles that are not really close to 30 or 15 some adjustment needs to be made. If you see you're a bit under or over 30 degrees you know which direction you're going and can go by instinct. Hours of practice allows your brain to automatically adjust. I'm a big believer in benchmarks in pool.
Can anyone help me out with what the pivot really means? Let's say I am playing the first shot "splitting the difference". I sit down aiming center to center and then move the cue stick while my hand is planted as I aimed at the center or is there a slight move of the hand so that the center of the cue ball is aimed to 75 or 25 of the object ball?
If you're cutting the ball to the left start off with your q-tip a half tip to the left including your bridge hand being planted a half tip to the left and pivot to the center same thing when shooting to the right. Your bridge hand should be half a tip to the right of Center and then pivot to the center but most importantly do not move your head during this process as moving your head will cause your eyes to establish a new center and your shot will be offline.

Funny to read the same story as mine, exactly!
enjoy getting back your skills!
Yeah, he really didn't reference the 1/4 ball hit. The not quite edge to edge shots.
Top of the ball is a good tip. Thanks
@@AVR-88 Isn't a 1/4 ball hit the same as "split the difference"? 25% seems to be 1/4 of 100% to me.
@@MikeyD22
Exactly - it’s the same
I agree, some angles you will have to hit like 88% about halfway between split the difference 75% and the edge, I refuse to believe no angle will ever fall halfway between those two.
👍👍👍
U right bro, they would have not given this much information. That guy is pretty cool for doing that
then plz tell me what he means by pivot, does yhe move his nbridge to 75% or does he not move his bridge and , stay aimed at 50% and just the just move the tip to 75%?
@@robertedmonds2075Any respond
This is the easiest and the most simplest system I have ever seen and it works. Smart man.
I am a counselor and I love the attitude both Mike and Kenny are demonstrating. Your instructions are very helpful. I've been playing this wonderful game for over 30 years and I'm always looking to learn more. Thanks for all you are doing to encourage so many of us.
Finally a system that doesn't break down. After 100 years this guy shows us an aiming system that works ;)

Is that how USAPL ranks a league player?
BCA does not. Where was he in the Division Bronze, Silver, Gold or platinum?
That means you’re always hitting the cue ball off center and putting unintended English on the ball
Well duh
I had the pleasure of playing this guy in Dallas and he explained his method to me and I uses to this day,he played the best player there and he wins.
Thanks Mike and Kenny. CTE videos are confusing. Your way is much easier to understand. Prayers sent for Mike.
I agree when I met Hal years ago he said it’s simple and it was close to this . The great Babe Cranfield had a chapter in his book about aiming and he said don’t over complicate it . He said to keep it simple.
Dear Ken and Little Mike,
I really want to thank mike for letting you share his knowledge and I want to thank you for not keeping this knowledge as a secret and share it with us. Thanks to you I played my first last 16 in a local tournament .
Keep it up !
Greetings from Turkey
👍
Genius! Nothing worked for me until now! So accurate
You're da man Kenny! I finally got my own pool table after waiting for 40 yrs and with your instructional vlogs, my game has improved a lot. Thank you Kenny!
👍✌👊
I was inspired so much by this aiming system which I opened my own channel... learn a ton from this. Thanks!
i been using yalls aiming sytem for almost four years now and my game has came up tremendously like four times as much the best part of yalls new aiming system is when i get to one of them problem shots back in the day where i did not know where to aim on the target ball and always miss now i know where to aim and the ball goes dead in the hole thanks a million
Thanks Mike......This is sooo simple to understand. I tried yesterday and I pocketed balls so easily. Thanks a million times.
Thank you for making this video you are the first person I've watched that explained it in a way I can understand!
My brother has been using that system for 30 years, it never fails. Of course you have to master it
I love the videos and love Mike's teaching style.
I think this GIANT of a man little Mike just cracked all aiming systems in to three working category's.
After I've watched the video .... my aiming have drastically improved .... thank u
This video is so helpful and salute to Little Mike for making this aiming system!
This makes so much sense its unbelievable!! Awesome way to simplify aiming. Thank You
The system is a good one. I am sure the teacher unconsciously adds a little angle between the three described angles depending on the shot. Using his principles, I aim the shot in that designated direction and do a slight, unconscious adjustment when I "see the shot". Works great. I will share this video with the team.
Great video! Thanks!
Thank you!
I believe that this guy is basically following his instinct and according to him its splitting the difference
Ali Shueib split the difference!!
That is exactly what is happening.
👍
Love the hit on that cue stick. Makes me want to shoot pool more often 👍🇺🇸
I can just tell this is going to work great so simplified.
Thanks for all your instruction. The videos help a lot. I have been playing for a long time. Some shots still give me trouble, I am not great at it. This system might get me past a couple of those obstacles. Don't know how you find the energy to continue the videos, with all the critics on here. Glad you do.
It's comments like yours that keeps me going. I can't pay attention to all the negative comments and the haters.👍✌
This system is by far the easiest to understand and execute. I've tried them all. CTE can be confusing but this system is very easy to use,
I tried it yesterday against a friend that kicks my ass regularly and I won more times than him. Thanks!
Great to hear!
This aiming system literally turned me into a shotmaker overnight. For those that criticize that it's not mathematically precise, it doesn't have to be. The pocket size and speed allows for much leeway. My brother and I used to split matches and now he can barely win one game.
That's awesome!!!
Greetings from Pensacola,Fl🦩
Mike I really like your system better than the CTE.
You just changed my life! Thank you so much for this!

Riley’s World.... I know exactly what you mean!
This system 100% works. I've been using it for about 2 months now, & it's dynamic. Cuts out alot of thinking time & it's simple
You pivot on object ball or cue ball i am confused
This is the best tip I've found. Excellent method which blows shadow balls out. Far better method. 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks! I am regular player. While Thier is definatly many who will pick apart this simple concept of aiming I found it profoundly effective for many shots. Also good starting point to achieve consistency for any shot. The easiest to use and most valuable video I've seen on aiming.
I love this aim system! it work perfectly, I've been using this system for about 3 months, it really improve my accuracy
Once you understand which one you need to choose from, you will pocket more balls and come close to, if not already, running racks.
hey little mike you save my day....you are so brilliant keep up the good work BRAVO
Little Mike i am from South Africa. Your way is the greatest. I tried it and i have never played better pool. Big up and you play great pool
I know mike I met him at My phone store he’s a good man and showed me this technique haha cool asf👍🏼👍🏼
Keep it up!

The system is simple and it werks everyone wins play 🎱 play pool
I had the pleasure to play this guy in Dallas Tx,really good play and better instructor.
I watched this video and have learned so much from it. I have tried in practice the aiming principles that Mike shows and man does it work well. I've tried other aiming systems but this fits me so well and just takes practice to get the hang of it.
Mike, you are a genuis. You have discovered a new way to make a pool game lot easier. . Awesome
I play my snooker this way and thought that's how you suppose to play:)
Glad I ran into this video. it improved my cutting tremendously!! 👍🏻
Wrong, you are forgetting the size of the pocket. Which allows for the 3 aiming spots.
I practiced this technique this afternoon and then used it in league play this evening. I won my match! Plenty more work to do but dammit, man, it works!
I'm 78 years old and that's exactly the way I learned to play almost 65 years ago. The method they use today with cte is so confusing to new players
thanks guys this has made a big difference to my game in only a few weeks love the vids!!
👍
love this idea. gonna practise it tonight. played this video 30 times now. love it. thanks.
Great little system makes it more simple tried a few shots tonight did not miss. Thanks for this guys!!!!
This has really stepped my game up thanks again
👍Glad it helps!
Pivot to 25 or 75. Throws ball left or right into pocket
i was trying this system yesterday. it works really nice! thank you
Thanks for sharing.
You're welcome. Glad it helps. 👍✌
Best aiming video out there! Thank You!!!
👍
Started using this just last week and my shot making has improved immensely. So much easier to understand than CTE. THANK YOU MIKE.
thank you for the help Mr. Dirty. lol. it is a great help.
Your video is helpful to the beginners. Very easy to follow and better than CTE.
+juan ball I agree
+juan ball
For those who think this is the same aa the CTE system, I strongly disagree.
At the end of the day, every system gets you to the same point of contact. It's the different ways of explaining how to get there that makes it the system. Everyone has their preferences and what they are more comfortable with. One system might be better for one individual then another.
There is no one system that's for everyone.
Ye s this is different from CTE. Hooe they can follow this system us very easy to apply.
no aiming technique is better than a another..its prefferance
This video change my play style very fast 1 year ago i've no idea how to aim now atleast i can play for fun than than watching others... even i didnt finshe the video at that time....if your beginner and want to learn fast this is it
You mentioned pivoting. Plz explain how to line up to the center CB and pivot to the 75% spot on the OB without hitting off center on CB.
the cueball is the pivot in this case, not your hand. highly unrecommended because it requires you to MOVE when you're down on your shot. this probably would work on such a small table but when you're playing for real (9footers) any odd movement in your stroke or cue delivery is gonna throw the object way off.
The beginning is essentially a 3/4 ball hit but with a pivot instead of aligning first. Easy explanation. This will help lots of folks
+buddharmt thank you
Can you elaborate as to what the difference between pivoting and just straight up aiming to 3/4ths of the object ball is?
That aiming system is very handy. Seems like the only thing to worry about, is the speed when it comes down to ball position.
Best system I ever seen can’t wait to hit the pool hall to practice it thanks brother! 👍
one of the best simplest method I have seen
I can CONFIRM today that this system WORKS. Thank you Mike
Cliff Thorburn said this in his book years ago!
