As soon as i can afford it i will definitely be buying this! Me and my 3 yeard old would appreciate hot air in the car in these South Dakota winters lol. Crazy how such a problem could be overlooked by all these engineers. Thabk you for the video and thank you for the fix! I cant wait to buy it as soon as i can!
Great Vid sir. I just put in my order for one of these, hoping it will save me some do-ray-me. It's amazing you have to otherwise replace the whole dang heater box for a 75 cent piece of plastic failure.
Thank you! You're saving a bunch of money but you're also saving a bunch of time making it a permanent repair. You won't have to worry about it ever again! If you have any feedback or questions let us know!

One of the best how to videos ive seen. Thank you. I do have a question as im having 2 issues. One is with hot and cold which your video address' but the other is the mode actuator not functioning. Do you know where the mode actuator is located?
Thank you! I worked pretty hard on it. The mode door actuator is on the other side of the heater box. So just go under the dash on the passenger side and remove the covers. There's a similar foot vent that comes off. On the single zone systems there's one motor with a long lever and that's it. On the Dual Zone systems there's two Motors next to each other. It is the same one with the long arm lever on it. You can swap those two motors around and see if that fixes your problem then you know the motor is bad. I'll try and attach a picture here. If it doesn't work just grab my email from the video description or on my website and I will get back to you!
So I don't think I can add a picture here in the comments. Just email me at Renegade Solutions help@gmail.com. I will send you that picture. It's not real hard to change that Mode door actuator
You're welcome! It's a different and more robust design. It doesn't really wear out. So it's different than the driver's side blend door problem. Any other questions just let us know!
I think you mean clocked? Meaning does it have to be installed in a certain order so that everything is timed together. The answer to that is no. You can put the motor on with the blend door or motor in any position. Once you turn the key on the computer will move the door all the way to hot and then all the way to cold and figure out what the positioning is. Very rarely that is not enough and you have to disconnect the battery for 30 minutes and then reconnect it. After that works perfectly. Hopefully I answered your question if not let me know!
Hello! I replied to your comment and then it never posted sorry for the delay! If you mean: does the motor need to clocked, i.e. installed in a certain orientation in regard to the matching components so they are all timed together correctly- the answer is no. The motor can be installed with the motor shaft and the blend door in the heater box in any position. The computer will cycle the blend door motor from hot to cold and figure out it's own position automatically. In rare cases the temperature does not switch correctly after replacing the blend door motor or using this kit to make a permanent repair upgrade to the heater box. Just simply disconnect the battery safely for one hour or more and then after safely reconnecting the battery it ought to work great. If that did not answer your question please let me know!
@karlschneider5198 sorry it does not. But you may just have a bad actuator/ blend door motor. On most Vehicles that's the problem. It's just the Nissan Rogues that break the heater box itself.
@tinoesteban3111 Great question! Check out the website for all current pricing on each kit. We have three different options as far as kits go. There's a link in the description for the website. I don't think I can put the link here. If you have any specific questions on shipping etcetera you can email me here or other contact information is on the website also! Thank you!

@@RenegadeSolutionsCompany awesome! Thanks for the response. Any idea if the mode door suffers the same fate of the blend door?

I just ordered your kit..thank you for this video...but does the motor need to be clicked to work in proper order ?
