    I can't possibly count the tears this song has caused me to shed. I miss my ex and it's been 32 years since she left. I never recovered.

    Honestly, I'm a heavy metal guy but some songs are just perfection. The right song, the right singer, the right production and it becomes classic. This is definitely one of those songs. I'd take this over "Despacito" any day of the week. Cheers.

    This song brings back soooooo many memories. I remember dancing with girls at the skating rink and in the clubs. Little did I know that those were the best days of my life.

    I'M KIND OF OLD and i was really young when this came out and i listened to it on my RECORD PLAYER on a 45 vinyl lol... If you ever want to do another one from him i would suggest MORE THAN I CAN SAY

    Beautiful song by Leo...Haven't heard this gem in decades...Gotta like his "fro"....I think his first hit was Long Tall Glasses, which is upbeat and fun. I also remember his song You Make Me Feel Like Dancing, which was very good also.....1970's, baby!!

      I agree. Why so much hate for 70's music? I thought the 70's was the best decade ever for music. So many different types of music. 60's was the best after the 70's.

    I was 20. I worked night shift on one end of town he lived on the other end. We were broke college students. Valentines Day he walked from his house to my job picking flowers from gardens on the way and even asked for some. Had a pretty bunch by the time he hot to my job and he took the shoelacesboff his boots to tie the flowers together. At my lunch break he stood in front of the building and sang this song to me. Thank you for the most beautiful memory of my life.

    It's pronounced SAY-er. I had occasion to see him live at The Troubadour in Hollywood back in the '70s at the height of his popularity. Packed house. I stood about six feet from George Harrison (of the Beatles) and watched this guy bring the house down. He was amazing.

    I met Leo Sayer in our local Tesco Store about 15 years ago. He is very small. By the way he would have been 28 at the time in 1976

    this was Leo Sayer's best most soulful song - he started out as a David Bowie imitator, a sad white clown - then he got some happy track shoes and did a song about dancing - then he got soulful and did this piece - yes, his best, at least of what was released to top-40 radio, I don't know his entire catalog

    Pronounced, Leo Say-er. Beautiful love song about being on the road. First time hearing Leo was a song, "You Know I Can't Dance." It has a funny story with the lyrics. Recommend that tou listen to it. Leo had another big hit with, "You Make ME Feel Like Dancing." Yes, that was a saxophone playing sweetly. Another great song with saxophone is Gerry Rafferty's, "Baker Street." ✌❤🌹

    Leo left England and now lives in as a citizen of Australia. He still sings very well. This song was overplayed In Australia back in the early 80's.

    This song was written by Albert Hammond and Carole Bayer Sager. I recommend Albert Hammond for your review. especially It Never Rains in Southern California.
